Sealing system for sealing expansion joints and method for placing the same
The present invention relates to a sealing system provided with a self-expanding seal for sealing expansion joints in buildings, said seal consisting of a first body 11 and a second body 12 which are elongated and arranged opposite one another, connected by means of a waterproof flexible body 30 and by means of expanders 20 that produce an elastic thrust for separating said first and second bodies which are thus trapped inside the expansion joint to be sealed. Said seal includes retainers 40 which keep it in a pre-compressed position, allowing easy placement within the joint to be sealed, and which may be released producing the instantaneous expansion of the self-expanding seal.
Expansion joint seal for surface contact with offset rail
A system for creating a durable seal between adjacent panels, including those which may be subject to temperature expansion and contraction or mechanical shear having a cover plate, a rail, and an elastically-compressible core adjacent the rail.
Fire and/or water resistant expansion and seismic joint system
An expansion joint system includes a cover plate; a spline attached to the cover plate; and foam having a fire retardant material included therein in an amount effective to pass testing mandated by UL 2079. The spline depends from the cover plate and is configured to be positioned in a gap between substrates such that the cover plate overlies the gap. The foam is compressible between a first face of the spline and one of the substrates and the foam is compressible between a second face of the spline and the other of the substrates, and the expansion joint system is configured to facilitate compression of the foam when installed between the substrates by repeatedly expanding and contracting to accommodate movement of the substrates; and the foam with the fire retardant material included therein is configured to pass the testing mandated by UL 2079.

Joint Filling Profile
A joint filling profile for forming a joint sealing between floor slabs includes a vertical leg projecting into the joint and a profile body formed from a joint sealing compound and located in a joint widening. The vertical leg and the profile body are separated from each other with the interposition of a first separating material, wherein at least one second separating material is arranged between the vertical leg and the profile body and/or at least one reinforcing mat is arranged within the profile body. The second separating material and/or the reinforcing mat are arranged in such a way that they overlap with the first separating material at least in regions.
GAP BRIDGING DEVICE
A gap bridging device including two anchoring devices that anchor the gap bridging device at two building elements that are separated from each other by a gap; and a bridging device that is connected with one of the two anchoring devices respectively at longitudinal sides of the bridging device that are arranged opposite to each other, so that position changes of the building elements relative to each other are compensated by a shape-change of the bridging device, wherein the two anchoring devices respectively include a base element that is anchorable at one of the two building elements and a top element that is connected with the base element by a plurality of bolts in a force transferring manner and connected with the gap bridging device.
Expansion joints
Tiles 21 and 22 are laid up with other tiles in the usual way at and along the joint 18, the joint 18 comprises a female strip 23 and a male strip 24 each of which have fastening flanges 25 and 26 and respective 90 walls 27 and 28. A slot or rebate in the female section 29 holds an expandable seal, typically in this case a hydrophilic seal. The female part and the male parts are assembled for relative movement so that a small gap perhaps 2 mm at 31 may be accommodated while the the upper plate section 23 still provides a contiguous coplanar link between the parts.
TRANSITION CONSTRUCTION FOR BRIDGING A BUILDING JOINT
A transition construction for bridging a building joint between two component parts of a building with at least one cover element that at least partially covers the building joint. The cover element is attached to a component part of the building via an anchoring structure, wherein the anchoring structure is configured such that the at least one cover element is selectively supported.
Joint filling profile
The invention relates to a joint filling profile for forming a joint sealing between floor panels (3, 4), with a vertical leg (6) that projects into the joint (2) and a profile body (7) formed from a joint sealing compound (9) and situated in a joint enlargement (5), whereby the vertical leg (6) and the profile body (7) are separated from each other by intercalating a separating material (8).
