An insulation mounting system utilizing a thermal break consisting of radiused and/or straight channels, slots and holes for the purpose of mounting specially shaped formed wire to hold-in-place rigid insulation installed onto walls of buildings. A structural clip for further positioning, holding, bending and/or directing the same formed wire shapes. A sub-girt that attaches to the structural clips vertically or horizontally as needed, a wire bending tool for use at intermediate formed wire locations between assembled thermal clips, and an anti-reversal clip with bendable attachment arm for holding other building materials if needed. Multiple alternate embodiments for the thermal break, formed wires and structural dips show that there's an almost a limitless amount of variations that a person skilled in the art could imagine and not exceed the scope of the application.

A complete insulation and panel mounting system utilizing a means to quickly install and hold insulation In place against a substrate with minimal materials and costs which includes an adjustable sub-girt mounting system. A panel system that quickly mounts to the sub-girts of the insulation mounting system to minimize labor at installation and degree of precision and skill required, and which allows for non-progressive (non-sequential) installation while allowing any panel to be removed and replaced without disturbing adjacent panels.

Disclosed is a system of cladding along an existing exterior wall of a building featuring a plurality of Z-shaped components deployed in a parallel spaced apart arrangement, with an insulation panel in between two of the Z-shaped components. The Z-shaped components having a J-wall to enforce a moisture gap between exterior wall paneling and insulation. The Z-shaped components may feature Edge-components when the line of insulation panels needs to be interrupted or when it reaches a corner or edge of a wall.

A wall nail includes a rod body, a nail head, a rotary head, and a rubber cover. The rod body has a first end portion and a second end portion opposite to the first end portion. The nail head includes a threaded rod and a drill. Two ends of the threaded rod are integrally connected with the second end portion of the rod body and the drill respectively. Described herein is a cladding fixing system for affixing a cladding structure to a load-bearing substrate of a building having an insulation material, the total cross section of thermally conductive elements of the cladding fixing system extending from the insulation abutting surface of the base plate 100% or more of the insulation material body thickness is 500 mm.sup.2 or less per square metre of insulation material when installed, a cladding system including the cladding fixing system and an insulation material body, a method of attaching a cladding structure to a load-bearing substrate of a building using the cladding fixing system and system described herein and a building with a cladding system installed.

Methods, systems, and panels for retrofitting an existing exterior of a building. In one example, the method may include: (a) obtaining data about an exterior geometry of the existing exterior; (b) using the obtained data, defining a custom retrofit panel system for the exterior geometry; and (c) constructing the custom retrofit panel system including a plurality of panels, in which constructing a panel includes: (i) forming a panel frame by additive manufacturing, the panel frame defining interstitial spaces; (ii) at least partially filling the interstitial spaces with at least one filler; and (iii) in which the constructed panel includes a building facing surface configured to mate with the exterior geometry of the existing exterior.

A facade panel conditioning system for installation on a new or existing building is disclosed. The system includes modular panels, a structural anchor, hydronic piping, and ductwork. The panels attach to each other around the exterior of the building forming an insulated shell. The anchor attaches the panels to the building structure forming an air cavity between each individual panel and the exterior. The hydronic piping transfers heat to the air cavity and individual units of the building. The ductwork delivers ventilated air and exhaust air to the air cavity and individual units. The hydronic piping of a panel connects to the hydronic piping of an adjacent panel forming a hydronic piping system that distributes heat or cool throughout the shell. The air duct of a panel connects to the air duct of an adjacent panel forming an air duct ventilation system that distributes air throughout the shell.

An intermodal container includes a base, a roof, walls extending between the base and the roof, at least one of the walls having a corrugated surface. An insulation for the intermodal container includes a plurality of insulation units, each of the insulation units having a corrugated surface complementary to the corrugated surface of the intermodal container. Frist one of the insulating units has insulating material having a cross-section with a first face and an opposite second face, the first face including a longitudinally extending planar first central section and first and second longitudinally extending planar slanted sections on opposite sides of the first central section. The first and second slanted sections extend obliquely from the first central section toward the second face. A segmented support element is embedded in the insulation unit.

A wall structure having an inner wall, a bracket member, a non-combustible board, and an outer cladding coupled together and retaining insulation between the inner wall and the outer cladding. The non-combustible board is positioned between the bracket member and the outer cladding.

The present disclosure relates generally to components of building surface systems, for example, suitable for covering an external surface of a building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to building surface standoff for positioning a building surface component at a distance from a support surface. The building surface standoff includes a support platform and a group of legs extending rearward from the support platform. In some embodiments, the building surface standoff includes another group of legs spaced from the first group of legs. In other embodiments, the building surface standoff includes an attachment post extending forward from the support platform.
