The mechanism may comprise a cam to retain the cover to the base. The cam may rotate to latch the cover to the base and unlatch the cover from the base. The mechanism may comprise an interface to rotate from a raised position to a depressed position to release the cover from the base. The cover may move in the opening direction as the interface rotates from the raised toward the depressed position. The mechanism may comprise a pin. The interface may disengage from the pin to unlatch the cover from the base. The interface may slide against the pin.

The mechanism further comprises a pair of locking elements mounted between said pair of arms for rotational movement between a retracted position in which they permit access to the recess and an extended position in which they extend at least partially across the mouth of the recess. The arms comprise respective guides to guide the movement of said locking elements between said retracted and extended positions. The mechanism further comprises a drive for simultaneously moving the locking elements in opposite rotational directions. The drive may comprise a drive shaft having left handed and right handed threaded portions.

A locking mechanism comprises an S-shaped locking member which comprises respective locking hooks arranged at the end of opposed arms of the locking member. A pivot is arranged between the arms of the locking member. The locking member rotates around the axis (A) of the pivot. The locking mechanism further comprises a coupling for coupling the locking member to an actuator for rotating the locking member around the pivot axis (A). The coupling comprises at least one coupling element, an actuator coupling for coupling the at last one coupling element to the actuator and first and second drive couplings for coupling the at least one coupling element independently to each arm of the locking member for transmitting rotational movement thereto, such that failure of one arm of the locking member will not cause loss of drive to the other arm of the locking member.

Storage console

A storage console includes a housing with a storage chamber, two closure members connected to the housing, an actuator movably arranged in the housing and a latch mechanism rotatably connected to the housing. The two closure members can be rotated to open or close the storage chamber. The latch mechanism includes two latch members and a synchronizer connected between the two latch members. The movement of the actuator actuates the two latch members to rotate to a lock position in which the two latch members engage with the two closure members or a release position in which the two latch members are separated from the two closure members. The two closure members of the storage console can be opened synchronously by use of the actuator and closed independently of each other.

A storage console includes a housing with a storage chamber, two closure members connected to the housing, an actuator movably arranged in the housing and a latch mechanism rotatably connected to the housing. The two closure members can be rotated to open or close the storage chamber. The latch mechanism includes two latch members and a synchronizer connected between the two latch members. The movement of the actuator actuates the two latch members to rotate to a lock position in which the two latch members engage with the two closure members or a release position in which the two latch members are separated from the two closure members. There is provided a locking assembly mountable to a dispenser having a base part and a cover movable relative to each other between a closed configuration and an open configuration. The locking assembly is configured to lock the base part and the cover in the closed configuration when mounted to the dispenser and comprises an unlocking component mountable to one of the base part and the cover and having an unlocking body translatable to configure the locking assembly into an unlocked configuration; and a pushbutton at least partially contained in the unlocking body. The locking assembly is selectively configurable into a key-opening configuration wherein the pushbutton is prevented from translation and in a pushbutton-opening configuration wherein pressure on the pushbutton engages the unlocking body into translation to configure the locking assembly into the unlocked configuration.

SECURITY LOCK FOR VEHICLES

The present invention relates to a security lock for vehicles, especially for the cargo compartments of lorries or vans, but also usable on other doors. The lock system uses a clamp having two halves or plates such that same hold a bolt, increasing the contact area in the event of a possible attack or leverage, and, if the surface of the vehicle becomes deformed, the two halves jam the bolt, further increasing security and reducing the possibility of opening. Using this invention, the system of inside opening by means of a cable is eliminated. Now, opening from the inside is performed by rotating a shaft or handle perpendicular to the surface of the vehicle, preventing the vehicle from being accessed from the outside.
