A request for carrying out a closing movement of the first door and for carrying out a closing movement of the second door is detected, and a priority rule is ascertained for activating the first electromotive door adjusting device and the second electromotive door adjusting device. The first electromotive door adjusting device and the second electromotive door adjusting device are activated on the basis of the priority rule. A system for a motor vehicle is also provided.

Opening/closing body control device
An opening/closing body control device may include an actuator, a drive device configured to drive the actuator configured to at least one of open and close an opening/closing body of a vehicle, an operation switch, and a signal output device. The signal output device may be configured to drive the actuator via outputting a signal to the drive device when the operation switch is operated. The signal output device may include a signal line, a submergence detection circuit configured to detect submergence of the vehicle in water, a switch, and a pullup resistance connected via the switch to a power source. The switch may be configured to turn on when submergence of the vehicle in water is detected and the operation switch is not operated. The pullup resistance may be connected electrically to the signal line when the switch turns on to output a signal to the drive device.

A device for opening and closing opening/closing body comprising: an opening/closing body to open/close with respect to an opening of a base body; a closing mechanism; a control portion to control the closing mechanism; and a position detection portion, wherein the closing mechanism includes an engaging portion provided in either one of the base body and the opening/closing body; an engaged portion provided in the other of the base body and the opening/closing body; a closing mechanism drive portion to shift the engaging portion between being an opened state and a closed state; and an interaction detection portion to detect interaction between the engaging portion and the engaged portion; and the control portion carries out zero position setting to set position information to the zero position when the engaging portion shifts to the closed state or to the opened state.

Switching device for switching drive elements in a motor vehicle
A switching device for actuating drive elements includes first switching elements situated on a housing surface to be actuatable by fingers of a person and a second switching element situated on a housing surface to be actuatable by a palm, a palm heel, or a thumb of the person. The first and second switching elements are formed by touch surface sensors without switching contacts. In one variation, actuation of one of the first switching elements causes actuation of a corresponding one of the drive elements only when the second switching element is actuated during the actuation of the one of the first switching elements. In another variation, simultaneous actuation of one of the first switching elements and the second switching element causes a drive element corresponding to the one of the first switching elements to be actuated according to a function corresponding to the second switching element.
Door control device
A door control device includes: an electric motor control unit configured to drive, in response to a closing command for closing a door that is driven to be opened and closed by an electric motor, the electric motor; a door closed state detection unit configured to detect a closed state of the door; and a lock command output unit configured to output a lock command to lock a locking device of the door, upon the closed state being detected when a predetermined waiting time has passed after the electric motor was driven by the electric motor control unit in response to the closing command and the closed state was detected by the door closed state detection unit.
Door control device
A door control device includes: an electric motor control unit configured to drive, in response to a closing command for closing a door that is driven to be opened and closed by an electric motor, the electric motor; a door closed state detection unit configured to detect a closed state of the door; and a lock command output unit configured to output a lock command to lock a locking device of the door, upon the closed state being detected when a predetermined waiting time has passed after the electric motor was driven by the electric motor control unit in response to the closing command and the closed state was detected by the door closed state detection unit.
Access Door To A Vehicle
At least one leaf of this door is equipped with a detection device comprising a mechanical detection device and a contactless sensor each capable of detecting a presence. The control circuit board comprises a control unit for movement of each leaf and a diagnostic unit, while means transfer, from the detection device in the direction of the diagnostic unit and the control unit, a first item of information representative of the activation state of the mechanical device, and a second item of information representative of the activation state of the contactless sensor. The diagnostic unit can identify a malfunction at least of the contactless detection device, when the first item of information has an active value while the second item of information has an inactive value. The invention allows redundancy to improve the availability of the detection device, while performing predictive maintenance for the operator, in particular a malfunction of the contactless sensor.
Sunroof panel and sunshade assembly system and method
A sunroof panel and sunshade assembly system includes a moveable sunroof panel operable to selectively move to a first closed position within a sunroof opening of a vehicle and a sunshade operable to selectively move to a second closed position within the sunroof opening. The sunshade includes a leading-edge portion and a spring force displacement member within the leading-edge portion of the sunshade, wherein the spring force displacement member is operable to deform when the sunshade contacts an obstruction while the sunshade is moving. The system further includes an electric machine providing motive force to the sunshade and a computerized sunroof panel and sunshade controller. The controller operates programming to monitor operation of the electric machine, determine a presence of the obstruction based upon the monitored operation, and command the electric machine to stop and reverse the sunshade based upon the determined presence.
