Thermally conductive composite element based on expanded graphite and production method

A thermally conductive composite element is particularly suited for use in a surface heating system or in a surface cooling system. The composite element has at least one main part which contains expanded graphite and at least one flat textile structure disposed on one face of the main part. The textile structure is connected to the face of the main part by an inorganic adhesive.

BI-FOLD DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY AND FLOOR ANCHOR ASSEMBLY

A bi-fold door is opened with a lift assembly having a plurality of straps attached to power driven lift drums. A latch assembly retains the closed bi-fold door secure to side columns of a building. The latch assembly has a latch strap attached to a latch drum that accommodates the latch strap to hold the closed bi-fold door in contact with the side columns of the building. A floor anchor assembly anchors the bottom of the closed bi-fold door to the floor below the closed bi-fold door to stabilize and inhibit bending and deformation of the bi-fold door frame.

A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.

STACKING SCREEN DOOR

A stacking screen door has two rails and multiple door panels. Each one of the rails has a groove, a conductive bar, and an elastic assembly. The conductive bar is movably located in the groove. The elastic assembly is connected to the conductive bar and the groove, and is configured to push the conductive bar out of the groove. The door panels selectively move along the two rails and are sequentially connected vertically to each other in the rail. Each one of the door panels has two electric assemblies and multiple display screens. Each one of the display screens is electrically connected to the two electric assemblies. When each one of the door panels moves along the two rails, each one of electric assemblies is respectively connected to the conductive bar. Therefore, power can be supplied to the display screens.

TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY FOR JACKSHAFT CONVERSION FROM A CEILING GARAGE DOOR OPENER

A transmission assembly for converting a garage door operator (GDO) from a ceiling mounted configuration to a jackshaft configuration by operably coupling the transmission assembly to a motorhead configured to be employed in either the ceiling mounted configuration or the jackshaft configuration may include an output coupler to operably couple the transmission assembly to a drive tube rotatable to alternately open and close a sectional door, the output coupler comprising an output pinion, an input coupler to operably couple the transmission assembly to a motor output shaft of the motorhead, the input coupler comprising an input pinion, a flexible coupling member operably coupling the input pinion and the output pinion, a transmission housing configured to extend around at least a portion of each of the input pinion, the output pinion and the flexible coupling member, and a multi-position coupling bracket having a wall interface portion for rigid connection to a wall, a transmission interface portion to hold the transmission housing relative to the wall interface portion at a first selected angle, and a motorhead interface portion to operably couple the wall interface portion relative to the motorhead at a second selected angle.

REMOVABLE LIGHT ASSEMBLY FOR CONVERTIBLE GARAGE DOOR OPENER

A light assembly for use with a garage door operator (GDO) convertible between a ceiling mounted configuration and a jackshaft configuration may be provided. The light assembly may include a first illumination member and local and remote light housings to which the first illumination member may be independently removably operably coupleable. The first illumination member may be operable between an illuminated state in which it may illuminate an area and a non-illuminated state in which it may not illuminate the area. The local light housing may have a first power source and may be disposed at a main housing of a motorhead of the GDO. The remote light housing may have a second power source and may be disposed away from the main housing. The first illumination member may be operably coupled to one of the local light housing and the remote light housing at a time.
