Vehicular storage box
A vehicular storage box that includes a compartment for holding articles, the compartment comprising four sides, a bottom and a top lid. The compartment is fabricated from an engineered plastic or a polymer matrix composite. The box further includes a locking assembly situated within the lid. The locking assembly comprises a central locking wheel connected to a linkage, a plurality of pawls for each of at least three of the sides of the compartment, and a solenoid switch. The locking wheel is movably connected to the plurality of pawls. Further, the solenoid switch is connected to the linkage to move the wheel to drive the plurality of pawls into and out of the at least three of the sides of the compartment into a respective locked position of the lid and an unlocked position of the lid.
BRAKE FOR VEHICLE CLOSURE ACTUATOR
A power closure actuator for powering a movable closure includes a shaft situated between an electric motor and an output member. A brake device along the shaft is actuable via an electric brake actuator to apply braking. An active brake clamp is movable by the electric brake actuator. An axially floating rotor is rotatable with the shaft and has a first axial side facing the active brake clamp a second axial side providing a second braking surface. A passive backing brake clamp is positioned adjacent the second braking surface. The axially floating rotor is biased away from the passive backing brake clamp by a first biasing member. Deflection of the first biasing member coupled with axial movement of the active brake clamp and the axially floating rotor enables braking by pinching action of the axially floating rotor between the active brake clamp and the passive backing brake clamp.
MOTOR VEHICLE DEVICE COMPRISING A MOVABLE WINDOWPANE, MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A MOTOR VEHICLE DEVICE OF THIS TYPE, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE DEVICE OF THIS TYPE
A motor vehicle device includes a movable windowpane, which can be moved into a first end position, and an actuation mechanism having a touch-sensitive surface and by which a sliding movement of an operating element on the surface can be detected. The actuation mechanism cooperates with a drive of the windowpane in such a way that the windowpane is moved into the first end position when a sliding movement occurring at least in part in a predetermined first movement direction is detected.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A SLIDING DOOR ARRANGEMENT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The disclosure concerns a method for controlling a sliding door arrangement of a motor vehicle, wherein the sliding door arrangement comprises a sliding door, a drive arrangement for motorized displacement of the sliding door, a control arrangement and a sensor arrangement with at least one sensor element, in particular implemented as a proximity sensor, where-in during operator event monitoring by means of the control arrangement the sensor signals of the sensor arrangement are monitored as to whether a predetermined operator event exists. It is proposed that the sensor arrangement is disposed at least partly in or on the sliding door and that opening the sliding door at least from a closed end position and/or closing the sliding door at least from an open end position is/are carried out by means of the drive arrangement depending on the result of the operator event monitoring.
VEHICLE AND VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
A vehicle control method includes emitting a plurality of pulse signals through a plurality of ultra-wideband (UWB) antennas. The plurality of pulse signals are reflected by an obstacle during outward propagation to generate a plurality of reflected signals. The method further includes receiving the reflected signals and determining time-of-flight (TOF) and signal strength of each of the received reflected signals, determining whether the obstacle is a hand according to the TOF and the signal strength of each of the reflected signals, in response to determining that the obstacle is the hand, recognizing a gesture of the hand, and outputting an operation command corresponding to the gesture to control a vehicle to perform a corresponding operation.
OPERATION DETECTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND OPERATION DETECTION METHOD FOR VEHICLE
An operation detection device for a vehicle including a camera that captures an image of a periphery of an opening portion of a vehicle body includes a position determination unit configured to determine whether a first body part and a second body part of a user in the image captured by the camera are present in a user determination area set in the image, a gesture determination unit configured to determine, based on the image captured after it is determined that the first body part and the second body part are present in the user determination area, whether at least one of a first gesture using the first body part and a second gesture using the second body part is made, and an output unit configured to output the trigger signal when it is determined that at least one of the first gesture and the second gesture is made.
VEHICLE DOOR COMPRISING A HANDLE ARRANGEMENT, AND VEHICLE
A vehicle door may have a handle arrangement, where the door may also have a door support structure. The door may also have a shaft strip which is arranged on the upper side of the door support structure. The handle arrangement may be arranged movably, in particular pivotably, at the shaft strip. The handle arrangement may have a handle element which can be gripped on an exterior of the vehicle door. The handle element may be designed as a device which can be actuated in at least one direction for actively actuating at least two switching functions.
Rear emergency handle
An emergency mechanism for manually opening a powered door that includes a hold-close latch that holds the door in a closed position. During the manual operation, a manually operated handle for actuating only the hold-closed latch is manually moved from a non-actuating position to an actuating position, which actuates the hold-close latch to release the door from the closed position. The handle is held in the actuating position until it is moved back to the non-actuating position during a subsequent powered operation, thus allowing a user to move the door to an opened position using both hands.
Sensor Device
The invention relates to a sensor device (100) for actuating a movable part (101), in particular a sliding door, of a vehicle (1), comprising: a capacitive sensor unit (10) with a plurality of sensor elements (11) for motion detection, in particular gesture detection, of a user to trigger opening and/or closing of the movable part (101), an NFC antenna (30) for communicating with a vehicle-side security system (2) and/or a user-side mobile handheld device (4) in order to trigger unlocking and/or locking of the movable part (101), and a circuit board (20) for accommodating the capacitive sensor unit (10) and the NFC antenna (30).
OPENING/CLOSING DETECTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE OPENING/CLOSING MEMBER
One embodiment of the present invention provides an opening/closing detection device, including: a plurality of sensors configured to be arranged along a predetermined portion of a mark attached to a vehicle; and a control unit configured to output an action trigger signal for instructing an opening action of an opening/closing body of the vehicle when detection signals representing a trace order of the predetermined portion are input from the plurality of sensors that detect an order of a motion of tracing the predetermined portion of the mark by a user of the vehicle.
