DOOR SYSTEM WITH SENSOR UNIT AND COMMUNICATION ELEMENT
A door system for a public transit vehicle with at least one door opening and a door that closes this door opening includes a sensor unit, which does three-dimensional and touch-free scanning of a passenger compartment in the area of the door opening and at least one communication element for the context-based communication with passengers based on readings by the sensor unit. A process for monitoring and controlling door systems of a public transit vehicle are also provided including the steps of touch-free and three-dimensional scanning of a passenger compartment in the area of a door opening with a sensor unit and measuring distances, shapes, and movements of objects by evaluating the readings of the touch-free and three-dimensional scanning. The process also includes issuing context-based information to affected passengers via a communications system, whereby the information is based on readings from the sensor unit.
a process for monitoring and controlling such a door system.
Container for actuating a drive device of the container
Container comprising a first element 2 and at least a second element 3 movable relative to the first element 2 between a closed position and an open position, and a drive device 5 for moving the second element 3, wherein at least one deformation measuring unit 6 is provided with a deformation sensor 11 on at least one of the elements 2, 3 for detecting a force exerted on one of the elements 2, 3 and wherein a control unit 12 is provided for receiving and evaluating a deformation signal transmitted by the deformation measuring unit 6 and is provided for actuating the drive device 5.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH SENSOR UNIT FOR CONTACTLESS PASSENGER COMPARTMENT MONITORING
A door system for a public transit vehicle includes least one door opening and a door that closes this door opening, wherein a sensor unit performs three-dimensional and touch-free scanning of a passenger compartment in the area of the door opening. A process of monitoring and controlling such a door system includes the steps of touch-free and three-dimensional scanning of a passenger compartment in the area of a door opening with a sensor unit, and measuring distances, shapes, and movements of objects by evaluating the readings from touch-free and three-dimensional scanning.
VEHICLE OPERATION DETECTING DEVICE
A vehicle operation detecting device includes: a plurality of sensors that are arranged side by side in a vehicle and individually output a plurality of detection signals changing as a detection target touches or approaches the sensors; a peak position detector that detects a plurality of peak positions of the plurality of detection signals; an operation direction detector that detects a moving direction of the detection target in an arrangement direction of the plurality of sensors, based on an order of the plurality of peak positions; and a driving controller that controls a driving of an opening/closing member according to the detected moving direction.
Systems and methods for avoiding interference between an overhead door and a lifter
Systems and methods for operating an overhead door opener and a lifter are disclosed. The lifter is positioned above the overhead door when the overhead door is in a retracted position and raises and lowers objects along a path that, without care, will intersect with the overhead door. A controller monitors the position of the overhead door and the lifter and moves the overhead door if the lifter is out of the way, and if the lifter is not out of the way the command is not executed to prevent interference between the lifter and the overhead door.
USER INTERFACE, VEHICLE HAVING THE USER INTERFACE, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE VEHICLE
A vehicle includes an opening/closing device including one of a movable glass panel and a window; a display including a partial region in which a symbol image representing the movable glass panel or the window is displayed and a background region excluding the partial region; an input configured to receive a touch input; and a controller configured to recognize a location of a touch point on the input, recognize a movement time, a movement direction, and a movement distance, recognize the movable glass panel's or the window's closing degree information based on the recognized movement distance and the movement direction, change the display information of a background area on the display based on the recognized movable glass panel or the window closing degree information, and transmit the recognized movable glass panel or the window closing degree information to the opening/closing device; and a driver configured to open or close the opening/closing device based on a control command from the controller.
Door trim assembly
In a door trim assembly for a vehicle door having an opening fitted with a vertically moveable window pane and a drive unit for driving the window pane for selectively closing the opening, the door trim assembly includes: a door trim main body configured to be attached to an inboard side part of the vehicle door under the opening; at least one transmitter provided in an upper part of the door trim main body; at least one receiver provided in an upper part of the door trim main body and configured to receive a signal emitted from the transmitter and reflected by an object positioned near the window pane; and a control unit connected to the receiver to compute a position of the object according to the signal received by the receiver and control the drive unit according to the computed position of the object.
Safety system for a motor vehicle door, comprising at least two sensors
The invention relates to a safety system for a door in a motor vehicle, comprising an electronic unit that includes at least one first and a second sensor. Each sensor has its own monitoring zone on the motor vehicle door. The safety system further comprises a lock which is arranged on the motor vehicle door and can be switched between a locked position and an unlocked position, as well as a user-held identifier which can be brought into data communication with a transceiver unit in the motor vehicle for authentication purposes. The electronic unit is designed in such a way as to be able to generate a trigger signal by having the user execute at least one defined movement pattern within the monitoring zones, thus allowing the position of the lock to be switched.
Control apparatus for vehicle opening/closing body
A control apparatus for a vehicle opening/closing member that operates the opening/closing member provided in the vehicle in response to a physical expression of a user, having a user authentication unit that authenticates a user whose physical expression is to be detected, a physical expression detecting unit that detects the physical expression of the user, an operation determining unit that determines an operating state of at least one of the user authentication unit and the physical expression detecting unit, and a notification unit that sends notification that, in accordance with a determination result of the operating state determined by the operation determining unit, the user has been authenticated, the detection of the physical expression has been completed, or the detection of the physical expression has failed.
