High flow, needleless connector
An intermittent, injection port assembly includes a flexible valve member of the type which is laterally deflected when moved from a closed position to an open position. A high flow non-tortuous flow passage is provided through the injection port assembly by a plurality of lateral passages bypassing a base which supports the flexible valve member.
CLOSED IV ACCESS DEVICE WITH Y-PORT NEEDLE-FREE CONNECTOR
A multi-port connector such as a closed intravenous (IV) access device with a y-port needle-free connector may be provided. The multi-port connector may include a main housing with a longitudinal axis, a needle free connector disposed along the longitudinal axis, and a y-port extending from a sidewall of the main housing at an angle that is non-parallel with the longitudinal axis. The needle-free connector may include a compressible sealing member that, when compressed opens a first fluid pathway from a first port, through a chamber within the housing, and to an output port. The y-port may be fluidly coupled to the chamber and the output port.
CATHETER TUBING SYSTEM
A tubing assembly device for use in combination with a typical Foley or multi-lumen urinary catheter that assists in the prevention of said tubes becoming entangled or mismanaged by the physician or patient includes a drainage tube and at least one fluid delivery tube having connectors operable to attach to catheter lumens and container lumens. The tubes are bundled together by having a portion of their exterior surface fixedly attached to a portion of the exterior surface of another tube. In order to prevent kinks where the device is attached to the catheter, the upper portions of each tube are necessarily longer than the lower portions. Also, as a further option, the connectors on opposing ends of the tubes include a variety of markings to ensure proper attachment.
Devices, systems, and methods for medicament delivery
Certain exemplary embodiments comprise can comprise an auto-injector, which can comprise: a vial configured to store and/or contain an injectable medicament, the vial defining a vial longitudinal axis, and a housing comprising the vial. In various embodiments, the injectable medicament can be a medicine, medication, drug, pharmaceutical, prescriptive, agent, antidote, anti-venom, hormone, stimulant, vasodilator, anesthetic, and/or nutritional supplement that is substantially ready for injection.
A PORT ARRANGEMENT, A PURIFIED WATER PRODUCING APPARATUS COMPRISING THE PORT ARRANGEMENT AND A METHOD FOR PERFORMING PORT CLEANING OF A PURIFIED WATER PRODUCING APPARATUS
A port arrangement (1) comprising a fluid module (2) incorporating a first port (3) arranged to receive a first connector (4) and a second port (5) arranged to receive a second connector (6). The first port (3) provides a first circumferential space (3c) around a first tube (3a). The second port (5) provides a second circumferential space (5c) around a second tube (5c). The fluid module (2) further incorporates a bypass channel (7) connecting the first circumferential space (3c) and the circumferential second space (5c). The port arrangement (1) further comprises a door (20) comprising a first seal (21) and a second seal (22) arranged to seal the first circumferential space (3c) and the second circumferential space (5c) against the outside. The disclosure also relates to a purified water producing apparatus (100) comprising the port arrangement (1), and a method for performing port cleaning of the water producing apparatus (100).
Respiratory connector
A respiratory connector is provided for connecting corresponding ends of a plurality of gas flow lines to a corresponding plurality of ports. The connector comprises first and second connector formations, and a bridge extending between the first and second connector formations. The bridge is actuable to allow a spacing between the first and second connector formations to be varied during use.
EXTENSION SET TO REDUCE EXTENSION TUBE KINKING
A vascular access system may include a catheter adapter and an extension set. The extension set may include a first end having a first connector coupled to the catheter adapter, a second end having a second connector, an extension tube disposed between the first end and the second end, and a brace configured to hold the extension tube in a curved position. The extension set may alternatively include a housing disposed between the first connector and the extension tube, where the housing is U-shaped or V-shaped and a fluid pathway extends through the housing.
Connector
A connector of the present invention includes a housing and a valve, wherein the housing has a flow path and a pipe connecting port, and the valve is formed of an elastic material and is adapted to block the pipe connecting port. The valve has a substantially columnar deformable portion. The deformable portion has a top surface exposed from the pipe connecting port, a bottom surface opposite to the top surface, and a slit that reaches extends from the top surface to the bottom surface. When the top surface is pressed by the pipe, the deformable portion of the valve will be displaced toward the flow path while elastically deforming, so that inner surfaces that define the slit will face the flow path, and the top surface will form an opening that communicates with the flow path.
AN IMPROVED FLUID LINE CONNECTOR DEVICE
A cap for a fluid line connector having a male luer lock fitting, the cap having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, the cap comprising a barrier and a stopper extending axially from the barrier towards the first side of the cap. The barrier defines a keyway centred on a longitudinal axis. The shape of the keyway is configured to permit a correspondingly-shaped female luer lock fitting to pass axially therethrough to engage the male luer lock fitting of the fluid line connector. The stopper is configured to prevent rotation of the correspondingly-shaped female luer lock fitting in the first circumferential direction when a lug of the correspondingly-shaped female luer lock fitting is circumferentially aligned with the stopper.
Sterile connection luer access device
A luer access device (LAD) and a method of attaching the same are provided to create a sterile fluid-flow path. The LAD includes a female luer connector that has an internal female split septum disposed at a proximal end thereof and is coupled to an internal surface of the LAD. A male luer connector is coupled to an external surface of the female split septum. Additionally, a male split septum is disposed within a male luer tip and seals an opening of a distal end of the male luer connector. At least one aperture is disposed through a sidewall of the distal end of the male luer connector. An internal cannula is exposed out of the female luer connector to open the female split septum upon engagement with the male luer connector.
