Sealing system for a conditioned door threshold
Embodiments of the invention provide a sealing system configured to provide a sealed boundary between a conditioned and an uncontrolled or separately conditioned environment. In some examples, the sealing system may comprise a door, a conditioning device, and a seal assembly. The door may be moveable between an opened position and a closed position. The seal assembly may be coupled to the door and have an airflow path. When the door is in the closed position, the conditioning device may be configured to direct conditioned air into the airflow path, thereby urging conditioned air through the seal to inhibit undesirable door and/or adjacent surface conditions.
Closure for a cladding for a roof window and a roof window arrangement
An end closure for a cladding for a first roof window forming part of a roof window arrangement mounted in an inclined roof structure, where said first roof window is above a second roof window when seen in the direction of inclination of the roof structure and where a middle flashing member is arranged between the roof windows is disclosed. The end closure comprises an end plug having a male connector section configured to be inserted in a hollow section of the cladding and an end gasket configured to come into a sealing engagement with the middle flashing member. The end gasket is arranged at the interior side of the end plug and extending from one side surface to the other. The end closure may further include a covering plug configured for interconnecting the end plug with a covering extending along a lower edge of the first roof window.
DOOR WITH ACOUSTIC SEALS
A sliding door system (105) includes a track assembly (120) and a door (125) slidably connected to the track. Seals (245, 250, 605, 610, 300, 500) disposed about the door limit sound and/or infectious materials from passing thereby. One or more of the seals (245, 250) are disposed between the door and the track assembly. One or more other seals (605, 610) are disposed between the door and a wall to seal around the trailing end of the door. The system may also include a door dock (130) with one or more seals (300, 500) to seal around the leading end of the door. The system can also include a drop seal assembly (700) that selectively seals off a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.
THRESHOLD AND THRESHOLD CAP
A threshold has a substrate, a sill deck, an upstanding nosing, and an upstanding dam. An upwardly open sill channel is defined between the upstanding nosing and the upstanding dam. A threshold cap extends along and at least partially overlies the upwardly open sill channel. At least one holder is formed separate from the threshold cap and is located in the upwardly open sill channel between the upstanding dam and the upstanding nosing, the at least one holder at least partially supporting the threshold cap. The holder is removably disposed within the sill channel. The threshold cap is pivotably attached to the holder. The threshold cap is capable of rotating between a raised position and a lowered position. In at least the raised position, a highest point of the threshold cap is closer to the upstanding dam than the upstanding nosing.
Micro-Cellular Foam Weather Seal
A weather seal includes an elongated micro-cellular foam bulb, and an elongated micro-cellular foam fin element attached to and extending along the length of the foam bulb. The fin element includes a spine having opposed planar surfaces and at least one microcellular foam barb extending outwardly and at a downward angle from each surface and along the length of the spine. As an alternative to barbs, another option is to use a higher durometer foamed thermoplastic elastomer in a hollow circle shape that would push into a retention pocket. A t-slot version that has a foamed bulb and a polypropylene base is another option.
SOUND DAMPING DOOR
A sound damping door system having a door frame, a compression seal, a door slab, a bottom seal, and a concealed hinge assembly. The door frame includes male and female components adapted to engage each other in a rough door opening between first and second wall faces; and at least one isolation gasket adapted to be disposed between the male and female components. The compression seal is mounted to the door frame. The door slab includes an outer skin; an arched constrainment sheet inside the outer skin; a damping fill material inside the outer skin; and an acoustic insert inside the outer skin. The bottom seal is mounted to a bottom surface of the door slab such that the bottom seal is permitted to move relative to the door slab.
Adjustable corner pad
A sealing pad is configured to be mounted between a door and a surrounding doorjamb. In particular, the sealing pad is adjustably mounted to a bottom corner of the doorjamb. The sealing pad contains a base and at least three lobes formed on the base, an inside lobe closest to an inside edge of the sealing pad, an outer lobe farthest away from the inside edge, and a middle lobe in between the inside and outer lobes. The base has a tail extending from the inside edge, opposing and extending away from the inside lobe. The tail is configured to fit into a channel in the bottom corner of the doorjamb.
INTEGRATED GUIDE SYSTEM AND DOOR SEAL FOR A SOFT CLOSE SLIDING DOOR
A door system includes a door having a top edge, a leading edge, a trailing edge and an inner face. A first gasket is deformed into engagement with the inner face adjacent the top edge, a second gasket is deformed into engagement with the inner face adjacent the top edge and spaced from the first gasket. An acoustic barrier is positioned to close a gap between the first gasket, the second gasket and the inner face. A third gasket is mounted to a structure adjacent the door and a fourth gasket is mounted to the trailing edge of the door. Sealing members on the first gasket engage sealing members on the second gasket when the door is in the closed position.
Assembly structure of door weather strip
An assembly structure of a door weather strip includes a roll sash with a projection, a press sash without a projection and joined to the roll sash, a decorative molding which covers the sashes, and an end cap fit on the decorative molding. An outer seal lip of the door weather strip includes: an upper side protrusion and a lower side protrusion which extend outwardly toward an exterior of an automobile and are parallel with each other in a longitudinal direction; and a channel between the protrusions, which is open outwardly toward the exterior of the automobile. The protrusions are connected by a connecting wall on a front end of the channel, slid toward a front side of a door from a rear side, and guided into a space between the press sash and the end cap with a projection on the end cap guided into the channel.
