Security grille and security grille system
The invention relates to a security grille system (1) for securing a passage at least partly. The security grille (2) is arranged to be brought from an extended state, in which the grille (2) can block the passage at least partly, into a retracted state, in which at least a part of the previously blocked part of the passage is unblocked. The security grille (2) comprises a multiplicity of bars (4), preferably substantially horizontally extending bars (4), connected by means of multiple elongated connecting elements for interconnecting respective bars (4). The security grille system (1) further comprises a chain connected to the grille (2), preferably a chain being flexible in only one dimension and/or being roller chain, and at least one chain limiting (28) member for at least locally limiting movement of the chain (19), e.g. in a direction in which it is flexible, such as to counteract that one or more links of the chain can be substantially moved away from a regular route along which the links move when the grille (2) is moved from its extended state to its retracted state or vice versa.
UNIVERSAL PALLETS FOR STORAGE AND DISPLAY
Described is a pallet including a base having a length extending between a first end and a second end opposite the first end and a width transverse to the length; and a cage removably coupled to the base.
Bullet-resistant entranceway curtain security device
Various embodiments include bullet-resistant multilayered curtain that can be quickly deployed to secure an entranceway from attackers and deter them from entering. A bullet-resistant multilayered curtain may be contained above an entranceway in a casing and supported by a quick release pin when in the stored configuration. The bullet-resistant curtain includes multiple horizontal bars that are distributed along the length of the bullet-resistant curtain. Firmly fixed on the perimeter of the entranceway are horizontal bar retainer clamps for locking the horizontal bars into place when the bullet-resistant curtain is in its deployed state. A vibration sensor control switch may be fixed on the perimeter of the entranceway and configured to activate vibration sensors fixed on the bullet-resistant curtain to detect vibrations and send notifications to remote authorities.

Security and escape apparatus for use with a window
A security and escape apparatus for use with a window mounted in a wall at a position spaced above a support surface is disclosed. According to one aspect of the invention track members of a first bar section are S-shaped in cross-section so as to carry a second bar section thereon and thereby allowing the bar members of the bar sections to be uniform in length. According to another aspect a release mechanism comprises an abutting portion which is positioned beneath the bar sections to retain the sections across a window opening. The abutting portion is positioned horizontally outwardly of the bar sections such that the bar sections can extend to form a ladder beneath the window opening. According to another aspect the apparatus includes a window frame mounting arrangement cooperative with the obstructing position for resisting dismantling of the apparatus.
Firmly fixed on the perimeter of the entranceway are horizontal bar retainers for locking the horizontal bars into place when the bullet-resistant curtain is in its deployed state. A vibration sensor control switch may be fixed on the perimeter of the entranceway and configured to activate vibration sensors fixed on the bullet-resistant curtain to detect vibrations and send notifications to remote authorities.
Soft barrier
The present soft barrier includes sheeting and a frame. The frame includes longitudinal and lateral support members. The sheeting is in a relaxed state when the lateral support members are in a retracted state. The sheeting is in a taut state when the lateral support members are in an extended fixed state. The sheeting may be in either the relaxed state or taut state when the longitudinal support members are in a retracted state or an extended state. A first adjustment mechanism for increasing or decreasing the longitudinal length of the barrier is a quick slide mechanism. A second adjustment mechanism for finely increasing or finely decreasing the longitudinal length of the barrier is a rotatable mechanism.
Slat structure
A nut stacking mechanism (-1-) for the displacement of slats between a stacking zone (L2) and a sliding zone (L1), comprising a spindle (2), on which a nut (3) is displaceable between the stacking zone (L2) and the sliding zone (L1), a rotation stop element (4), to form in the sliding zone (L1), in the rotational direction of the spindle (2), an obstacle for the movement of the nut (3), and a stacking element (5), to form in the stacking zone (L2), in the longitudinal direction of the spindle (2), an obstacle for the movement of the nut (3), wherein, by displacement of at least a part of the rotation stop element (4) and the stacking element (5), the boundary between the stacking zone (L2) and the sliding zone (L1) is provided displaceably in the longitudinal direction of the spindle (2).
Access panel
An access panel for a horizontal opening, the access panel (11) comprises a parallel array (12) of members (14, 15, 16) and a lateral extent (W) of the array (12) corresponding to a lateral extend (D) of the opening between first (17) and second (18) end members of the array (12) defining a length (L) of the panel (12). At least two pantograph units (20, 21) extend between the first (17) and second (18) end members and each member (14-16, etc.) in the parallel array (12) is pivotably linked to each pantograph unit. The members (14, 15, 16 etc) and units (20, 21) permit the panel (11) to function as a planar structure and enable the length (L) of the panel (11) to be varied between a minimum length (L1) and a maximum length (L2) and an intermediate configuration having a length between the minimum and maximum lengths (L1, L2).
