Multi-position tool coupler
A coupling system for coupling a tool to be carried over the earth to a mobile tool carrier. The system includes an attachment base for attaching the coupling system to the mobile tool carrier and a center pivot assembly with a pivot that allows a tool support arm to swing to either side of the tool carrier where it extends to the side to allow the tool to be used to the side while the machine moves forward. The support arm includes a vertical hinge that divides the arm into two parts, allowing the arm to fold so the tool can be either in front of the machine or beside the machine. The tool may be connected to the support arm with a quick-coupler having hooks or with a permanent attachment.
COUPLER WITH CONTACTLESS ATTACHMENT ENGAGEMENT DETECTION
A coupler for coupling an attachment to an excavator. The coupler has first and second spaced-apart coupling formations for coupling with respective corresponding coupling formation of the attachment. The coupler also has a power actuated locking member for retaining the respective attachment coupling formation in engagement with the first coupling formation. A detection system is capable of detecting if the respective attachment coupling formation is in a desired position with respect to the first coupling formation, wherein the detecting means comprises at least one non-contact sensor, preferably an ultrasonic sensor.
Safety device for quick coupler
The present invention relates to a safety device for a quick coupler and, more particularly, to a safety device for a quick coupler, the safety device having an improved structure that is configured to improve the structure of a locking device, the locking device preventing the fixing hook from being arbitrarily released from a locking engagement, by using a safety plate that is laterally moved in a sliding manner by an elastic force of a DIE spring after a fixing hook and a first attachment pin are assembled together.
Front pin lock for a tool attachment device
A quick coupler (1) for attaching a tool (2), comprising an attachment bracket with two parallel attachment pins (3a, 3b), to an earth moving vehicle, where the quick coupler (1) comprises a frame (4) with a first cutout (5) and a second cutout (6) arranged substantially perpendicular to each other, which are adapted to cooperate with the respective attachment pin (3a, 3b) of the tool (2). The quick coupler (1) further comprises at least one, in relation to the frame (4) moveable locking arrangement (9), adapted to delimit the second cutout (6) in a direction parallel to the first cutout (5), whereby one of the attachment pins (3aq, 3b) of the tool is locked in the second cut-out (6) and at least one locking segment (18a, 18b) arranged to be rotated in relation to the frame (4) in at least a first and a second direction between different positions, whereby the locking segment (18a, 18b) in at least one position delimit the first cut-out (5) and locks the second of the attachment pins (3a, 3b) of the tool.
I-LOCK COUPLER
A quick coupler which features a safety mechanism which facilitates ease of use and assures safe use in the workplace by use of hydraulic circuits designed to automatically reset the safety locking mechanism on intentional removal of a front pin, including use of a 2-line hydraulic supply to the coupler.
Quick-change coupler device
A quick-change coupler device for coupling and uncoupling an implement attachment to a construction vehicle comprises a support member; first receiving members on one side of the support member for receiving a first coupling member; second receiving members disposed on the other side for receiving a second coupling member, the second receiving members having a locking member moveable between a release position for coupling or uncoupling the implement attachment and a coupling position for retaining the implement attachment on the coupler device; and a mechanical signaling mechanism for monitoring the locking status. The mechanical signaling mechanism comprises an assembly for signaling failure of the second coupling member to engage in the second receiving members. The assembly comprises a coupling gear for moving a signaling member into a locking position when the locking member moves into the coupling position, and into an unlocking position when the at least one locking member moves beyond the coupling position.
Tool coupling arrangement having zero offset
A tool coupler for coupling a tool to an end of a machine link. The tool coupler having a coupler frame, a hook configured to receive a first pin of the tool and configured to attach to the end of the machine link such that the tool coupler, a wedge slidingly received within the coupler frame, and an actuator connected to the wedge to move the wedge away from the hook to bias a second pin of the tool against the coupler frame. The tool coupler mounts the tool to the machine link such that the tool and the tool coupler pivots about the same axis.
ADAPTER FOR A QUICK-CHANGE SYSTEM AND QUICK-CHANGE SYSTEM WITH SUCH AN ADAPTER
An adapter for a quick-change system for changing attachments on a construction machine contains coupling elements arranged at a stipulated spacing from each other between two side walls for connection of the adapter to a quick changer. In order to provide improved protection from damage, the rear ends of the two side walls project rearwardly with respect to a back cover arranged between the side walls.
Quick-Change System for Changing Attachments on a Construction Machine
A quick-change system for changing attachments on a construction machine with a quick coupler arranged to be pivotable about a pivot axis orthogonal to the axis of rotation by means of a hydraulic slewing drive and rotatable about an axis of rotation on a connection part by means of a hydraulic rotary drive contains mounts and at least one locking element which can be actuated by means of a hydraulic drive to hold an attachment coupled to the quick coupler. The quick-change system includes a hydraulic control device, which contains a first control circuit to drive rotary drive and slewing drive, at least one additional control circuit to supply the attachment coupled to the quick coupler and a shuttle valve arrangement to expose the hydraulic drive to the higher pressures acting in the first or the at least one additional control circuit to activate the at least one locking element.
Implement Quick Connect System
A system for connecting an implement to a machine. A universal adapter to connect implements with machines. A frame with brackets on one side to couple to lift arms and tilt operators on a machine such as an earthmoving vehicle. Brackets on the other side of the frame to detachably couple to the implement. A locking mechanism on the frame with operative handles to engage locking pins on the adapter with the implement between a release and locked position.
