Coupling assembly and method of hydraulically coupling to a tool
A method of coupling a tool to a work machine including inserting a front lug of a coupling assembly into a front recess on the tool, inserting a rear lug of the coupling assembly into a rear recess on the tool, moving a retaining member of the coupler assembly to a retaining position relative to the tool to releasably mount the tool to the work machine, while simultaneously preventing movement of a hydraulic coupling manifold on the coupling assembly from moving; and moving the hydraulic coupling manifold to a coupling position with a hydraulic power transmission coupling on the tool to hydraulically couple the tool to the work machine in response to the retaining member reaching the retaining position.
Quick hitch
A quick hitch for mounting an implement on a machine. The quick hitch has at least one lug for connection to a machine and a securing mechanism for securing the quick hitch to an implement. The quick hitch also has at least one removable plate for engagement with a surface of an implement.
QUICK COUPLER WITH HYDRAULIC COUPLING MANIFOLD
A coupling assembly for releasably mounting, and hydraulically coupling, a tool to a work machine. The coupling assembly includes a mount attachable to the work machine and configured to receive the tool in a mounted position of the tool, a rigid retaining body movable in translation relative to the mount along a translation axis between a retaining position for retaining the tool to the mount and a release position for releasing the tool from the mount, a first and a second actuator operable to move the retaining body between the retaining and release positions, and a hydraulic coupling manifold movable in translation relative to the mount along the translation axis for hydraulically coupling the tool to the machine, wherein the hydraulic coupling manifold uses the first and second actuators as guides for moving along the translation axis.
Implement coupling device and a machine provided with such a device
An implement coupling device (1) on a working machine (2) comprises a coupling means (11) provided with a first shaft (21); an engagement means (12) provided with a second shaft (22) arranged parallel to the first shaft (21); at least one linkage (13, 14) comprising a first portion (23, 24) connected to the first shaft (21) and second portion (25, 26) connected to the second shaft (22), which first and second portions are connected by a pivot joint (27); and a wedge (28) means arranged to be removably mounted between the first and second portions (23, 24; 25, 26), wherein the coupling means (11) and the engagement means (12) are displaceable relative to each other in a direction at right angles to the first and second shafts (21, 22) to attach or release the implement. At least one portion (23, 24; 25, 26) making up a linkage (13, 14) is detachably fixed to its respective shaft (21, 22) by a locking means (31, 32, 33, 34) in a longitudinal recess (41, 42, 43, 44) at right angles to the shaft (21, 22) and engaging with a tangential recess (51, 51, 51) in the outer surface of the shaft (21, 22).
WORK-TOOL MOUNTING MECHANISM AND WORK VEHICLE
A work-tool mounting mechanism detachably attaches a predetermined work tool that includes an engaged portion including an engagement hole. The mechanism includes: an engaging portion that engages the engaged portion and includes; a lever that is rotatably attached to the engaging portion; a lock pin that is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, the lock pin being inserted into the engagement hole in the locked position, and not inserted into the engagement hole in the unlocked position; and a linking tool that moves the lock pin between the locked position and the unlocked position with a rotation of the lever. The linking tool includes a regulating portion that regulates the lock pin at the locked position from moving to the unlocked position.
QUICK-CHANGE SYSTEM, ADAPTER AND QUICK COUPLER
A quick-change system for changing attachments on a construction machine using an adapter and a quick coupler connectable to the adapter in which the adapter has at least a first coupling piece and the quick coupler has a second coupling piece connectable to the first coupling piece. A replaceable intermediate piece is arranged on the first coupling piece provided with first electrical contact elements and/or the second coupling piece provided with second electrical contact elements to produce an electrical connection between the first coupling piece and the second coupling piece.
TOOL COUPLING ARRANGEMENT HAVING ZERO OFFSET
A tool coupler for coupling a tool to an end of a machine link. The tool coupler having a coupler frame, a hook configured to receive a first pin of the tool and configured to attach to the end of the machine link such that the tool coupler, a wedge slidingly received within the coupler frame, and an actuator connected to the wedge to move the wedge away from the hook to bias a second pin of the tool against the coupler frame. The tool coupler mounts the tool to the machine link such that the tool and the tool coupler pivots about the same axis.
QUICK COUPLER
This invention related to a coupler for securing an attachment to an earth working machine. The coupler comprises a coupler body that presents a receptacle having a capture region. A pin of an attachment can move into and out of the capture region. A retainer can capture the pin in the capture region but the retainer can be moved by a hydraulically driven driver to a position to allow release the pin from the capture region. A trigger that the pin will strike when the pin moves into or out of the capture region, decouples the driver from the retainer and the retainer is then allowed to be biased back to its retaining position by a spring.
Visual indicator for a coupler
An indicator for a quick coupler for the mounting of an attachment to an earth working machine. The indicator (10) has a sensor (14,15) which, in response to movement of a movable pin engagement component (F) of a coupler (A), determines that the pin engagement component (F) will have moved sufficiently to engage and lock a pin (P2) of an attachment with the coupler (A). The indicator (10) has an indicating part (17) which is caused to be moved in response to the sensor (14,15) to thereby provide a visual indication (25) that engagement and locking of the pin (P2) has occurred.
