A common connection apparatus for coupling a power tool to an extensible arm and a power supply, the apparatus including a tool support base designed to support a tool, and a power supply support base designed to be affixed to the end of the extensible arm. The tool support base and the power supply support base each include a plurality of power connectors, positioned for engagement when the bases are aligned. The tool support base also has an alignment stab, which is received within a channel of the power supply support base. A plurality of pins are further positioned on the tool support base, to be received in apertures of the power supply support base. By this configuration, the bases may be aligned and engaged, facilitating the transmission of power from the machinery to which the arm is affixed, to the tool.

Material handling bucket apparatus and method for handling application material with a loader

A material handling bucket apparatus and method comprising a material handling bucket having a bucket front half to haul application material, a horizontally sliding mechanism allowing the bucket front half to slide horizontally, a pair of linkage systems secured to the bucket front half, a loader tractor, a boom, a hydraulic power unit, and a power source. The pair of linkage systems laterally move the bucket front half forward beyond and independent of the opposing bucket back half, parallel to the ground surface, leaving the opposing bucket back half tilted back to be loaded. The bucket front half slides forward; and pivots upward to open with respect to the opposing bucket back half and subsequently reversing or pivoting downward to close against the opposing bucket back half, allowing the material handling bucket to doze, having the bucket front half to slide forward to scoop more application material.

SYSTEM FOR HANDLING THE SEAMLESS TRANSITION OF BREAKLINES DURING AN EXCAVATION TASK

A controller for an excavating machine, comprising a tool, an arm, a set of sensors and a chassis. The sensors being configured to provide data regarding a pose of the tool. The controller comprising an input interface and a computing unit. The input interface is configured to receive operator steering commands. The computing unit is configured to read a design model, comprising two interconnected polygons defining a breakline and to reference the pose of the tool to the design model. The controller is configured for performing a semi-automatic breakline-transition. The semi-automatic breakline-transition function including identifying a breakline-transition move based on the operator steering commands and the pose of the tool with respect to the breakline and generating operator steering command adjustment commands, based on the pose of the tool and the operator steering commands, in order to align the tool to the breakline.

Positionable carriage assembly

A positionable carriage assembly including an actuation device, such as one or more linear hydraulic cylinders, that is linked to a linear drive element. The linear drive element can include a first and second gear racks. The positionable carriage assembly may also include a first carriage member having a third gear rack and a second carriage member having a fourth gear rack. A first gear structure may be provided that operably intermeshes with the first and third racks while a second gear structure may be provided that operably intermeshes with the second and fourth racks. In operation the actuation device imparts a linear movement in a first direction onto the linear drive element which in turn imparts a synchronized linear movement in a second direction orthogonal the first direction onto the carriage members via the intermediate first and second gear structures.

Hydraulic equipment for excavators and operating machines in general

Hydraulic equipment of the type that can be fixed to a moving arm of an operating machine. The equipment has a support structure connected or connectable to a moving arm of an operating machine, at least one hydraulic motor for the rotation of a working element, a feed pipe connected or connectable to a hydraulic circuit of the supporting operating machine to supply a flow of working fluid to the hydraulic motor, and a drainage unit for the drainage of working fluid from the hydraulic motor. The equipment may optionally include a pressure detector in the drainage unit and a shut-off valve operationally associated with the pressure detector in such a way as to interrupt the flow of working fluid to the hydraulic motor when predetermined pressure conditions are detected.

SWIVELABLE ADAPTER DEVICE FOR A SKID STEER LOADER HAVING A PIN LOCKING MECHANISM
20200087885 · 2020-03-19 ·

A swivelable adapter device used with skid steer loaders includes a mounting plate and a swiveling work tool plate for holding, rotating, and positioning skid steer attachments. Rotation about a longitudinal axis of skid steer arms is accomplished using a barrel within a barrel assembly allowing the work tool plate to be positioned from angles between horizontal and vertical. A mounting plate is attached to skid steer arms and is rigidly affixed to an inner barrel. An outer barrel with a notch plate and a work tool plate slides over a greased inner barrel. Swivel operation of the work tool plate is accomplished by hand, eliminating the need for hydraulic systems. Once positioned, the work tool plate is locked to a notch plate using a locking mechanism, such as a locking pin or locking latch. The device is reinforced with metal plates to handle torsion forces created by heavy loads.
