Reconfigurable wall system
A reconfigurable modular wall system having a plurality of different types of interchangeable wall modules with different types of compatible connection components, each connection component being configured to align with another connection component at an interface to form an interface connection for securing the connection components together with one or more universal connection interface members. The interface is configured for on-demand reconfiguration without laborious alteration to aspects of the walls system, modules, and components thereof. Reconfiguration of modules is facilitated by removing the universal connection interface member from the interface connection, thereby releasing the attachment mechanism and allowing rearrangement of the module(s). Replacement of the universal connection interface member secures the reconfigured modules in place in the rearranged wall system.
Modular system
The invention relates to a modular system (10) for structuring or shaping spaces, surfaces, or the like, comprising a component assembly, which comprises at least two modular elements (12) and at least one connecting element (14, 15, 16), said modular element being designed as a box-shaped body, whose base has at least three corners, each corner forming a connecting structure for connecting the modular element to a connecting element, said connecting structure being designed as an arc-shaped contour of the corner together with a void adjacent to the contour, said connecting element forming a pin for each of the connecting structures to be connected, said pin being designed congruent with the void and in such a manner that the pin can be interlockingly inserted into the void, said connecting element forming a positioning device for positioning the connecting element on the modular element, said positioning device comprising an axis, said axis being designed congruent with the contour and in such a manner that the axis can be arranged on the contour.
Method and system for interconnecting structural panels
Building or structural panels may be joined, such as to form walls or floors. The panels may be connected in various orientations via one or more connectors. The connectors may mount to anchors associated with the panels. The panels may have outer skins located over an expanded core comprising a matrix of supporting elongate members and voids or openings, with the anchors located at edges of the panels.
A CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
A construction system for a wall or floor or roof uses a set of studs having panel engagement features protruding from opposed edges of the stud. Panel elements having apertures receive these features so that they protrude through the panel element apertures. Retainers engage the panel engagement features and press against an outside surface of a panel element and towards the studs with a compression force to form a compression joint. There may be rails to form a mesh with the studs, and the panel elements may not be wide enough to abut each other, narrow panel elements providing sufficient structural strength in combination with the compression joints and the studs.
MODULE SPLICING STRUCTURE
A module splicing structure comprises to-be-spliced modules (C), a connecting component (A), a reinforcing accessory (B), and functional accessories (D, E, G). The to-be-spliced modules (C) are provided with holes or troughs. The connecting component (A) is inserted into the holes or the troughs of two adjacent to-be-spliced modules (C). The shape of the whole or partial cross section of the connecting component (A) inserted into the to-be-spliced modules (C) is the same as the shape of the cross sections of the holes or the troughs of the to-be-spliced modules (C). Connected by the connecting component (A), multiple to-be-spliced modules (C) are spliced into a whole structure or a building. The structure is applied to the field of engineering construction, and can be assembled, disassembled and maintained conveniently and quickly.
RELOCATABLE HABITAT UNIT
A field-deployable construction set for the assembly of a Relocatable Habitat Unit (RHU), used for simulating real world environments without costly construction expenses. The various panels, supports, and accessories used to construct an RHU include male (M) and female (F) lock connectors located on their respective peripheries and a frame constructed from a plurality vertical corner posts and horizontal beams provide the user with innumerable options for floor plans and building design, further providing significant options for reconfiguration of floor, ceiling, and wall panels without having to disassemble the structure. The exterior composition of the expanded polymer foam is customizable to provide a realistic environment for high quality training in a versatile system that is deployable by truck or aircraft and can be assembled with only a single tool.
COMPONENT AND PRODUCTION METHOD
A component having at least two parts which contact one another via their narrow faces, includes multiple connection elements which pretension the parts with respect to one another. The connection elements are accommodated in recesses formed as undercuts in the parts. The recesses are aligned transversely to the longitudinal extension of the narrow faces of the parts, the openings of the recesses being open towards the narrow faces of the parts. The connection elements are respectively formed of two wedge-shaped pieces arranged in a diametrically opposed manner. When the pieces of the connection elements are accommodated completely in the recesses, the ribs of the connection elements completely fill out the recesses, so that the parts are pretensioned with respect to one another, and a gap is prevented from forming between the parts or the closing of a previously present gap is achieved.
Connector for Lightweight Office Partition
A removable connector used for connecting two or more wall panels. The connector is accessible to a user in a vertical space between the connected wall panels open to both front face and rear face of each panel. The user is able to easily engage and move the connector, relative to the wall panels, to latch and unlatch the connector with a view to connecting and disconnect the panels.
ELASTO-MECHANICAL CHAMBER
The elasto-mechanical chamber is a device for the internal coupling and joining of C-type structural profiles. According to the invention, by securing the open elastic casing of the chamber by means of mechanical pressure, in a firm but not totally rigid manner, the device allows energy to be dissipated to the profile(s) to which it is joined. The elasto-mechanical chamber covers the single elasto-mechanical chamber and the double elasto-mechanical chamber, both of which have a similar design in terms of shape, number of components and action mechanism, and hence the same name. The features of each can be used to create bi-directional connectors and multi-directional connectors that can meet the different connection requirements of different types of structures and physical bodies.
INTERLOCKING PANELS
The disclosed interlocking panel systems are portable, self-supporting, and modular. They may function as guards around the sides, rear, and a surface of a workspace and can be disassembled by one person and transported to a sink for cleaning or another location for use or storage. They may also function as structural panels for constructing an enclosure, such as a building.
