TWO-PIECE TRACK SYSTEM

A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.

ONE-PIECE BONDING SPLICE FOR RAILS

A splice having a main body and one or more protrusions extending from the main body. The one or more protrusions can be operable to interfere with a rail when the main body is installed into an opening of the rail. The one or more protrusions may be operable to cut into a coating of the rail and form an electrical connection between the rail and the main body.

Shear beam-column connection

A shear beam-column connection includes a first beam, a first tapered bolt having a non-threaded portion and a threaded end portion, and a column including a first wedge slot block. The non-threaded portion of the first tapered bolt is fixedly secured, e.g., by welding, to the first beam. The wedge slot block includes a cavity for removably receiving the non-threaded portion of the first tapered bolt. The first wedge slot block is fixedly secured to the column, e.g., by welding. The first beam can be secured to the column by positioning the first beam adjacent the column such that the non-threaded portion of the bolt is inserted into the cavity. A nut can be threaded to the free end of the bolt to further secure the beam to the column.

Modular partition system

A modular partition system comprises a plurality of panels and at least one connecting strip. Each of the plurality of panels comprises two support members extending generally perpendicularly to a plane of the modular partition system and a central panel extending between said two support panels. The plurality of panels are arranged such that the central panels of each of the plurality of panels are generally mutually parallel and one support member of each of the plurality of panels is adjacent to a support member of an adjacent panel. The at least one connecting strip cooperates with a support member from each of two of the plurality of adjacent panels so as to connect said two of the plurality of adjacent panels.

Adjustable header

An adjustable header assembly includes a first piece of material and a second piece of material and at least one bracket. The first piece of material has a fixed length and the second piece of material has an adjustable length. In operation, the length of the second piece of material is adjusted until the second piece of material is proximate wall studs. The second piece of material is then coupled to the studs and the at least one bracket is coupled to the first and second pieces of material.

Structural stud post with thermal break

A structural stud post assembly comprising a center receiver section having opposing receiver channels formed by side walls and angled flanges, and a pair of raceway inserts also defining a raceway channel for accepting wiring and equipment to be disposed in the raceway. The raceways can be installed in the receiver channels to accept and accommodate wiring and equipment. The center receiver comprises a thermal break at about a midpoint to prevent there from being a metal-to-metal thermally conductive pathway through the stud. The structural stud post may be used in the construction of modular building systems.

A TOWER SECTION FOR A TRUSS TOWER, A TRUSS TOWER, A TRUSS TOWER ASSEMBLY, AND USE OF SUCH SECTION, TOWER AND TOWER ASSEMBLY

A tower section is for a truss tower. The tower section has three or more elongated corner beams arranged in parallel and spaced apart, and a plurality of transverse beams connected perpendicular to adjacent corner beams, thereby forming respective three or more sides. The transverse beams are distributed along the sides so that the transverse beams of one of the side are arranged offset to the transverse beams of the other sides.
