Architectural Panel Assembly And Tools
20190184527 · 2019-06-20 ·

This application relates to the field of reveal architectural panels and a tool or clamp for assembly thereof. The apparatus and method replace prior art assembly methods and fasteners with adhesives and a dedicated particularly designed clamp to facilitate assembly. The frame members are modified to facilitate assembly with adhesive sealants and removal of mechanical fasteners.

Metal panel wall cover system

Metal panel sidings have panel clips and a cover. The panel clips are mounted in linear arrays to a wall. The cover has a plurality of elongated metal panels having lateral side laps and a show side. The side laps extend inward from the show side. The panel clips have a first catch engaging a side lap of a first panel and a second catch engaging a side lap of a second, adjacent panel. The side laps provide vertical seams between adjacent panels. The first catch of the clips is mounted to the wall. The second catch is coupled to the first catch for movement from an unset position to a set position. The second catch does not engage the side lap of the second panel in its unset position, and engages the side lap of the second panel in its set position. Straps preferably are installed on the panels.

FASTENING SYSTEM

A concealed fastening system suitable for securing a cladding element to a substrate may include a receiver comprising a base section and side sections extending from the base section such that a central cavity is formed, each side section comprising a hook remote from the base section; and a rail comprising a base element and side arms extending from the base element. The rail may seat within the central cavity of the receiver such that the side arms of the rail abut the hook of the receiver. In use, either the receiver or the rail may attach to a substrate and the other of the receiver or rail connects to a cladding element. The system optionally further comprises a bracket to which an adaptor plate is attached. In use, the bracket and adaptor plate may be seated between the substrate and either of the receiver or rail.

FACE MOUNTING SYSTEM
20190055737 · 2019-02-21 ·

A face mounting system for mounting a plurality of panels to a surface of a wall is disclosed. The plurality of panels are attached to the surface of the wall by way of rails having hooks that engage a protrusion of the clips. The rails and the clips may be attached to the wall and the panels respectively or vice versa. Each of the panels may be attached and removed to the wall one at a time and in any order.

Panel mounting system, method of providing a façade lining to building, and combination of parts for use in a panel mounting system

The invention relates to a panel-mounting system for the faade lining of a building, comprising a conduit for a fluid, elongate profiles configured to be fixed to a building wall, panels for forming the faade lining by fixing them onto the profiles, wherein for each of the profiles an elongate contact area is defined between the profile and a panel which is fixed to that profile. At least some profiles comprise an elongate metallic heat conductor which is connected to the profile, arranged for exchanging heat conductively, through the contact area, between fluid in the conduit and the at least one panel fixed to that profile. The invention also relates to a method of providing a faade lining to a building wall, using such a system, and to a combination of parts for use in such a system.

Surface coating and clamp for said coating

Covering comprising a structure formed by a plurality of panels provided on their lower face with at least one guide formed by a groove giving access to a cavity and longitudinal profiles perpendicular to said grooves on the panels, said profiles having, in turn, a guide and clips housed simultaneously in the cavities of both guides of the panel and the profile, the clips having a resilient body that is housed, in the expanded position, in the corresponding cavity, said body comprising at least two legs, each leg having, in turn, a shoulder area intended to make contact with the wall of the cavity immediately adjacent to the groove.

SECURING DEVICE FOR VENTILATED FACADES

The present invention relates to a clamping device for ventilated facades comprising a plurality of panels (3) and at least two upper clamping features (9) for each panel (3), wherein the upper clamping features (9) comprise an upper main body (11) and a first flange (12) extending from the upper main body (11), wherein the first flange (12) is linkable to a lower edge (6) of a panel (3) of another adjacent row and is intended to be attached to the upright profile (1). The level of insulation of the facade against the entry of water from the outside into the insulation layer behind the panels is thus improved by allowing the use of panels that overlap their adjacent panels by means of double-fold flanges and that describe geometries that create areas for water collection and channeling.

Undercut clip anchor system for cladding of materials

The present subject matter relates to method(s), system(s) and device(s) for cladding of materials, and in particular to an undercut clip anchor system. The system comprises a horizontal rail which mounts both an upper undercut clip and a lower undercut clip for attaching an upper cladding panel and a lower cladding panel, respectively. Serrations on the undercut clips and on a nut bar serrated washer allow for the accurate vertical adjustment of the cladding panels.
