The components include dimensionally stable water-resistant panels, and finishing strips having a backing flange and an upper lip portion sized and shaped to receive upper edge portions of the panels therein. The backing flange is fastenable to the wall studs while maintaining the panels in spaced relation therefrom, to maintain interior facing surfaces of the panels and drywall flush with one another. The upper lip portion includes opposing flanges configured for superposed engagement with adjacent portions of the interior facing surfaces of the panels and drywall. Mounting clips are sized and shaped for receiving a stud therein, and have a support flange for supporting lower edge portions of the panels.

A boss projects outwardly from the second mounting portion first surface and is disposable within a recess of the second member or a stiffener coupled with the second member. The boss has an inner end adjacent to the second mounting portion inner end, an outer end spaced from the inner end, a centerline between the boss inner and outer ends, and an outermost surface spaced from the second mounting portion first surface by a spacing distance having a value greater than zero at all points along the centerline.
CLADDING SYSTEM FOR A WALL, ARRANGEMENT OF TILE CLADDING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING THE CLADDING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a cladding system (100) for a wall (1), having a plate-shaped cladding element (50) which can be connected on two opposite longitudinal or transverse sides to a respective fastening profile (10), wherein the fastening profile (10) is designed to anchor the cladding system (100) on the wall (1), wherein the cladding element (50) has, on the two longitudinal or transverse sides arranged in operative connection with a fastening profile (10), in each case a preferably strip-shaped fastening portion (60, 62) which interacts with a complementary, groove-shaped receiving portion (16, 18) on the fastening profile (10), wherein the two receiving portions (16, 18) on the fastening profile (10) are arranged on the fastening profile (10) on the side opposite to a fastening surface (14) for the wall (1) on the fastening profile (10), wherein the first receiving portion (16) extends at least substantially parallel to the fastening surface (14) or to abase surface portion (64) of the cladding element (50), and the second receiving portion (16) is arranged at an oblique angle (a), preferably between 50 degrees and 60 degrees, very particularly preferably about 45 degrees, to the fastening surface (14) or to the base surface portion (64).
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FACING
A method for producing a facing includes at least one first panel and one second panel that are each delimited by a front face and a rear face connected by a lateral edge, the method including a) a first panel is fitted, b) a first part of a connector is fastened to the first panel such that a second part of the connector projects beyond said first panel, c) a second panel is fitted next to the first panel and fastened to the second part of the connector.
SKIRT PANEL SYSTEM FOR A POST-FRAME BUILDING AND METHODS THEREOF
The present disclosure provides skirt panel systems for a post-frame building, comprising: one or more precast skirt panels, each of the precast skirt panels having an outer surface to be oriented away from the interior of the post-frame building, an inner surface to be oriented towards the interior of the post-frame building, a top, a bottom, and two opposing ends, each of the precast skirt panels configured for attachment to at least one post of the post-frame building, and each of the precast skirt panels configured for abutting each other end-to-end to form a skirt wall on the post-frame building; and an attachment apparatus for attaching the one or more precast skirt panels to the at least one post. The present disclosure also provides methods for constructing a post-frame building using such systems.
Surface panel connection system
Embodiments of the present invention provide a connection system with a projection on a first connector and a cooperating cavity on a second connector to provide push-through connection of the connectors in first and second configurations in which the projection extends to first and second depths respectively within the cavity, wherein one or more of the projection or cavity is movable in two dimensions perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the projection when received in the cavity, wherein the first and second connectors have cooperating locking surfaces arranged to engage each other when the projection is received at the second depth to prevent said movement in two dimensions and wherein the cooperating locking surfaces do not engage each other so as to prevent said movement in two dimensions when the projection is received at the first depth in the receiving cavity.
MODULAR CLADDING PANELS FOR BUILDINGS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A system (10) for covering an exterior external surface of a building includes cladding alignment features attached to the external surface of the building according to a predetermined pattern and cladding panels (100). Each cladding panel includes a structural frame (130), a substrate (110) attached to a first, external, surface of the structural frame, and fasteners (200) that are formed on a second, internal, surface of the structural frame. The fasteners are arranged according to the same predetermined pattern as the cladding alignment features, such that each of fasteners can be aligned with and attached to a corresponding one of the cladding alignment features. Each of the fasteners is attachable to a corresponding one of the plurality of cladding alignment features. The building is formed from multiple modular units assembled together. Each of the plurality of cladding panels is affixed to one or more of the modular units.
SURFACE PANEL CONNECTION SYSTEM
Embodiments of the present invention provide a connection system with a projection on a first connector and a co-operating cavity on a second connector to provide push-through connection of the connectors in first and second configurations in which the projection extends to first and second depths respectively within the cavity, wherein one or more of the projection or cavity is movable in two dimensions perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the projection when received in the cavity, wherein the first and second connectors have cooperating locking surfaces arranged to engage each other when the projection is received at the second depth to prevent said movement in two dimensions and wherein the cooperating locking surfaces do not engage each other so as to prevent said movement in two dimensions when the projection is received at the first depth in the receiving cavity.
