Hollow building surface panel and building surface system
The present disclosure relates generally to building surface panels, for example, suitable for covering a support structure of a building. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a building surface panel including a hollow panel body, a fastening strip attached to the panel body, and an overhang attached to the panel body and extending along the lower side of the building surface panel. The building surface panel includes a rear-facing engagement surface disposed at the upper side of the building surface panel and a front-facing engagement surface disposed at the lower side of the building surface panel. The front facing engagement surface is configured to engage a rear facing engagement surface of a lower neighboring building surface panel.
Siding panel with a recessed locking section
A siding panel includes a hanger section adjacent to an upper edge and a lower locking section adjacent to a lower edge. When installed, the lower locking section of an upper siding panel partially overlaps, extends into, and interlocks with a hanger section of a lower siding panel in an interference fit.
WALL CLADDING KITS, SYSTEMS, METHODS AND STRUCTURES FORMED THEREWITH
Wet cladding methods are disclosed which allow for construction and concomitant cladding of back-up walls. The end-cladding elements are attached to the wall using undercut anchors which are inserted into holes on the back surface of the end-cladding elements.
Warp resistant panels
A composite wood prefabricated wall panel configured for reduced moisture absorption includes a composite wood panel body, one or more connection components, and a priming layer. The composite wood panel body includes a front face, a rear face, and at least one edge. The one or more connection components are affixed to the rear face or the at least one edge, and the one or more connection components are configured to secure the composite wood prefabricated wall panel to one or more structural members of a prefabricated wall system. The priming layer is disposed over one or more surfaces of the composite wood panel body.
INTERLOCKING SURFACE PANEL CLIPS
Interlocking clips include a first clip and a second clip. The first and second clips each include a baseplate, a coupling arm protruding from the baseplate, and a groove defined by the coupling arm. The baseplates of the first and second clips configured to affix to a building support and the surface panel, respectively. The groove includes an inlet opening, an inlet portion extending from the inlet opening, and an end portion extending from the inlet portion. The grooves of the first clip and the second clip are configured to receive the coupling arm of the other one of the first clip and the second clip. A surface panel support system includes interlocking clips. A method of attaching a surface panel to a building support includes interlocking a first clip affixed to the surface panel with a second clip affixed to the building support.
