Oldham coupling with enhanced key surface in a scroll compressor
An Oldham coupling structure for a scroll compressor decreases Oldham coupling pressure loading without increasing compressor diameter or significantly increasing orbiting scroll or Oldham coupling inertia. The Oldham coupling key height and area are increased by recessing the key face into the ring portion of the Oldham coupling, increasing the key height and adding pads to the involute side of the orbiting scroll base plate to extend the key slot, potentially resulting in reduced compressor diameter and/or reduced orbiting scroll and Oldham coupling inertia.
Scroll compressor
A scroll compressor includes fixed and movable scrolls, and a drive part. The fixed scroll has a fixed-side end plate, a fixed-side lap, and a thrust sliding portion surrounding the first lap. The movable scroll has a movable-side end plate and a movable-side lap. The drive part revolves the movable scroll so that refrigerant in a compression chamber formed by the fixed-side lap and movable-side lap is compressed. A back-pressure space which communicates with the compression chamber for at least a prescribed period in a revolution cycle is formed at the back face side of the movable scroll. A first oil channel supplied with oil from a space is formed in a first angle region of the fixed-side end plate. A communication channel formed in a second angle region communicates with the compression chamber. A second oil channel communicating with the back-pressure space is formed in the second angle region.
Scroll compressor having axial guide support
To be as lightweight and compact, for example for automotive technology, a scroll compressor further includes an axial guide that supports the movable compressor body to prevent movements in the direction parallel to a centre axis of the stationary compressor body and, in the event of movements, guides it in the direction transverse to the centre axis. A coupling prevents the movable compressor body from rotating freely. The axial guide supports a compressor body base, which carries the scroll vane, of the second compressor body against an axial support face, in that the axial support face abuts a sliding body such that it is slidable transversely to the centre axis. The sliding body is slidable transversely to the centre axis, on a carrier element that is arranged in the compressor housing.
Co-rotating scroll compressor and assembly method therefor
Provided is a co-rotating scroll compressor comprising a synchronous drive mechanism that can achieve a long life. The compressor comprises a driving side scroll member (90) driven to rotate about a driving side rotation axis CL1, a driven side scroll member (70) driven to rotate about a driven side rotation axis CL2, a hollowed drive shaft (6) that is connected to the driving side scroll member (90), and driven by a motor (5) to rotate, and a driven shaft (20) that is disposed inside the drive shaft (6), and has one end connected to the drive shaft (6) via a first flexible coupling (21) and the other end connected to the driven side scroll member (70) via a second flexible coupling (22).
Scroll compressor having anti-rotation ring
A scroll compressor may include a frame, an orbiting scroll provided with at least one first key groove, a non-orbiting scroll provided with at least one second key groove and coupled to the orbiting scroll to form a compression chamber, and an anti-rotation ring disposed between the frame and the orbiting scroll. The anti-rotation ring may include a ring, at least one first key that axially extends from a first surface of the ring and slidingly coupled to the at least one first key groove of the orbiting scroll, and at least one second key that axially extends from the first surface of the ring and slidingly coupled to the at least one second key groove of the non-orbiting scroll. The first and second keys may be provided along a circumferential direction. This may allow processability of a one-way anti-rotation ring. Further, increase in weight may be prevented while reducing deformation by providing a weight-reduced portion in addition to a reinforcing portion.
Compressor
A compressor includes a rotation shaft, a drive unit, and a compression unit. The compression unit includes a fixed scroll, an orbiting scroll, a main frame that is disposed on the fixed scroll, and an Oldham's ring coupled to the orbiting scroll and the main frame and configured to restrict rotation of the orbiting scroll. The Oldham's ring includes a ring body disposed between the orbiting scroll and the main frame, keys that protrude from the ring body that are each coupled to the orbiting scroll or the main frame, and caps that are inserted into the main frame and that each have (i) a coupling hole that receives a key among the keys and (ii) a machined portion that faces the coupling hole and that is spaced apart from at least a portion of an outer surface of the key.

Scroll compressor having an oil supply passage including first end open at the orbiting space and second end open at an Oldham ring
A scroll compressor may include an oil supply passage formed in a main frame. A first end of the oil supply passage may be open toward an orbiting space of the main frame and a second end may be open toward an Oldham ring. With this configuration, even if refrigerant suctioned through a refrigerant suction pipe sweeps away oil, which lubricates a sliding surface between a key and a key groove adjacent to the refrigerant suction pipe while passing through between the key and the key groove, oil may be quickly and smoothly supplied to the sliding surface. This may prevent wear between the key and the key groove so as to enhance efficiency of the compressor.
