Insect Repellent and Sunscreen Applicator
A portable applicator for uniformly applying insect repellent or sunscreen upon human skin. A jar-like container normally holds the liquid contents. The container is sealed by a circular lid. The lid supports a downwardly-projecting sponge wiper that is saturated with liquid for subsequent topical application. The underside of the lid has a glue area surrounded by a peripheral ring for securing the wiper, and channels for directing fluid. A wringer-saturator, in the form of a foraminous partition, is disposed between the applicator contents and the wiper. When the applicator is closed, the wiper is compressed slightly by contact with the wringer-saturator. As the lid is removed from the container, the wiper will expand slightly, absorbing and holding liquid. When the lid is reattached, the wiper is compressed slightly against the wringer-saturator and liquid is partially expelled. The wiper has a fiberglass fabric covering for preventing dripping and easing topical application.

An elongate body extending from a proximal end to a distal end includes a core comprising an amorphous metal alloy and includes a sheath that comprises a crystalline metallic material. The sheath surrounds the core.
AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An aerosol provision system including a vaporizer for generating a vapor from an aerosolizable material, and an electrode for receiving electrical power. The aerosol provision system also includes a resilient element, electrically connected to the vaporizer and the electrode, for transferring the electrical power between the electrode and the vaporizer. The aerosol provision system may include a cartridge and a control unit, wherein the electrode, the vaporizer, and the resilient element are located in the cartridge. The control unit may include a power supply for delivering electrical power to the electrode for powering the vaporizer.
Nicotine-Free Formulations, Devices and Methods Thereof for Cessation of Smoking or Nicotine Replacement
Formulations of nicotine-free compositions, methods of preparing and using same are disclosed. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to methods of preparing inhalable nicotine-free formulations, and to methods for treating a subject with a nicotine-free formulation for use in smoking cessation or nicotine replacement. Also disclosed is a system for controlling cravings and assisting a smoker in quitting smoking or nicotine use.
MODULAR ADJUSTABLE STORAGE ORGANIZER
An improved storage organizer (10) having a plurality of vertical modular side panels (30) providing support, adjustability of size, location and storage capacity for a plurality of horizontal, adjustable shelf rails (70), adjustable, extendable, pull-out shelves (20) and encoded labels (25A) enabling identification of stored items within upright freezers and refrigerators in the first embodiment. A user of the organizer (10) can assemble the organizer without tools in the first embodiment to suit various models, dimensions and inner configuration of the storage space and anticipated weight and sizes of items stored on the shelves. A user of the organizer can track quantity and content of stored items by means of encoded labels (25A) inserted in shelf label holders (25) and in or on packages containing stored items, both visually and by means of remote inventory control systems. Thus, a considerably more versatile, durable, modular and efficient storage organizer is provided—that can be adjusted to provide more or less storage capacity in most models of upright freezers and refrigerators in the first embodiment as well as in other cold, heated or room-temperature storage compartments in other embodiments with ease of tracking quantities and locations, viewing, adding, removing, rearranging, identifying and retrieving a variety of stored items.
Extracorporeal blood heating and cooling system and method of operating and maintaining same
An extracorporeal blood heating and cooling system that is connectable to an oxygenator of a cardiopulmonary bypass system, the heating and cooling system comprising: a heater-cooler unit; a coolant flow circuit that is configured to pass coolant through the heater-cooler unit and the oxygenator; and a cardioplegia coolant circuit that is configured to pass coolant through the heater-cooler unit and a cardioplegia heat exchanger; wherein when the heating and cooling system is in a purging mode, the coolant flow circuit and the cardioplegia coolant circuit contain temperature-controlled coolant having a trisodium phosphate concentration of about 1-35 millimole/liter; wherein when the heating and cooling system is in a coolant mode, the coolant flow circuit and the cardioplegia coolant circuit contain temperature-controlled coolant having a trisodium phosphate concentration of about 1-10 millimole/liter; and wherein when the heating and cooling system is in the coolant mode or the purging mode, a first and second plurality of coolant conduits within the oxygenator and the cardioplegia heat exchanger are capable of maintaining a trisodium phosphate concentration ratio across the wall of such coolant conduits of at least 100:1, from the interior to the exterior of each coolant conduit. Methods of purging and operating such extracorporeal blood heating and cooling systems are also disclosed.
Method to Kill Respiratory Viruses and Microbes by Water Mist Charge
The invention relates to an electrostatic aerosol disinfection and sterilization method. The method includes the following steps: atomizing liquid water without any medicine to obtain atomized particles of liquid water; and carrying the atomized particles on Static electricity of a first polarity; transporting atomized particles with static electricity to a predetermined surface of an object to be disinfected, the objects to be disinfected have static electricity of a first polarity; when the atomized particles reach the object to be disinfected When the predetermined surface is changed, the electrostatic polarity of the object to be disinfected is changed, so that the object to be disinfected has static electricity of a second polarity, wherein the second polarity is opposite to the polarity of the first polarity. The present invention is capable of treating and slowing down various respiratory diseases caused by viruses, including new pneumonia that threatens people all over the world, greatly improves the effect of disinfection and sterilization, is not only safe and reliable, but also has simple operation and low cost.
