Plug Connector
A plug connector comprising a housing that has a channel which extends from a first end of the housing to a second end of the housing. A connection piece is provided on the first end and a connection geometry is provided on the second end. A heating zone is provided inside the channel. A heat-conducting element is arranged between the heating zone and the second end. The heat-conducting element has a heat-output section which is in the form of a cylindrical sleeve that surrounds the internal space. The cylindrical sleeve has a peripheral wall that is closed in the peripheral direction.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR REGENERATING A PARTICULATE FILTER
Embodiments described herein methods can be used in particulate filter regeneration, such as particulate filters used for filtering the exhaust of an engine, e.g., a diesel engine. Systems herein can be configured to dispense combustion gas(es) into housing were a particulate filter is contained and to ignite the combustion gases. Methods for conducting a safety verification process of such systems are disclosed, as well as methods for regenerating the filters. Still other embodiments are described.
BAND CLAMP INSULATION SYSTEM
Embodiments of the invention provide a novel band clamp insulation system for ensuring a tight insulation around a pipe during extended operation of the system and mitigating adverse effects of differential thermal expansion. The band clamp insulation system typically comprises a band clamp for securing insulation around the pipe and a securing member fixed to the pipe. The band clamp insulation system further comprises a coupling member for fastening the band clamp and the coupling member together.
OXYGEN SENSOR FOR VEHICLE
The proposed technology relates to an oxygen sensor for a vehicle, the oxygen sensor including a housing, a sleeve coupled to the housing, a sensor element configured to determine an oxygen concentration and provided within an inner space defined by the housing and the sleeve, a contact terminal connected to the sensor element, a contact bush including an upper bush and a lower bush, and a positioning unit coupled with the contact bush and maintaining a gap between a circumference of the contact bush and an inner side surface of the sleeve. In particular, the contact bush is coupled with the sensor element and the terminal at the center of the sleeve, and movement due to external impact is prevented.
CLAMPING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
Clamping apparatus is provided including clamp means for clamping two or more items together in use. The clamping means are arranged to move between a clamped and an unclamped position in use. Attachment means are provided on or associated with the clamping means for attaching one or more components to said clamping means in use. The components consist of any or any combination of one or more sensor means, one or more dispensing means or one or more electronic components. The clamping means includes at least one band member. The at least one band member forms an outer band and the attachment means are provided on or associated with at least an additional band member in the form of an inner band or segment that is provided with or associated with the outer band.
APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING TWO TURBINE HOUSINGS OF A TWO-STAGE TURBOCHARGER SYSTEM
An apparatus for connecting an exhaust gas outlet of a first turbine housing with an exhaust gas inlet of a second turbine housing of a two-stage turbocharger system, which features a pocket that is situated in the area of a first flange on the first turbine housing and features a projection that is arranged in the area of a second flange on the second turbine housing and is able to be inserted into the pocket. The projection is designed such that, after the projection has been inserted into the pocket, the first and second turbine housings are able to be tilted in relation to each other in order to establish a flush connection between the first flange and the second flange.
Compact Selective Catalytic Reduction System
A selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system for treating exhaust gas from a diesel engine is provided, along with a method of assembling such a system. The system comprises a frame, a SCR catalyst contained within a SCR canister, and an ammonia oxidation catalyst contained within an ammonia oxidation canister. Each of the SCR and ammonia oxidation canisters is removably attached to the frame.
VEHICLE EXHAUST SYSTEM
A vehicle exhaust system includes a vehicle body structure, an exhaust system, a rear bumper assembly, an exhaust finisher and a boot. The exhaust assembly is supported to an underside of the vehicle body structure. The rear bumper assembly is also supported to the vehicle body structure. The exhaust finisher is non-movably attached to one of the vehicle body structure and the rear bumper assembly. The exhaust finisher extends at least part way through an opening of the rear bumper assembly. The boot has a first end, a second end, and a flexible portion. The first end is attached to a rear end of the exhaust assembly. The second end is attached to a forward end of the exhaust finisher and the flexible portion extends from the trout end to the second end. The flexible portion is elastically deformable in response to thermal expansion and contraction of the exhaust assembly.
Catalytic reactor and ship provided with same
A catalytic reactor including: catalytic cassettes each including a catalyst part configured to reduce NOx in exhaust gas and an outer peripheral part made of a frame covering side surfaces of the catalyst part; and a lattice frame on which the catalytic cassettes are placed. The lattice frame includes a plurality of inflow holes through which exhaust gas flows into the catalyst parts and a plurality of frame parts which defines the respective plurality of inflow holes. The outer peripheral part of each of the catalytic cassettes is positioned so that the outer peripheral part is accommodated in a respective one of the frame parts.
Exhaust sensor module shield
An exhaust sensor module assembly has a sensor module and a shield. The shield is shaped to receive the module. The shield has a first mounting leg and a first flange extending from a first end of a base plate, and a second mounting leg and a second flange extending from a second end of the base plate. The shield is rotationally symmetric about an axis extending through and normal to the base plate.
