Line section for the temperature-controlled guiding of a reductant for the exhaust gas aftertreatment of an internal combustion engine
A line section for temperature-controlled guiding of a reductant for the exhaust gas post-treatment of an internal combustion engine, comprising a first line for guiding the reductant, a second line for guiding a temperature control agent, and a casing surrounding the first and second lines. The first and second lines are disposed extending adjacent to each other in the casing and guided in a coupling housing connected to the casing. Both the first and second lines are guided through the entire coupling housing while extending adjacent to each other.
CONNECTOR FOR A HEATABLE FLUID DUCT, IN PARTICULAR OF AN SCR SYSTEM OR A WATER INJECTION SYSTEM
A connector includes a thermally conductive body defining a passage for a fluid to flow through a duct and configured with an electric heating apparatus situated around the passage. A clip is situated around a portion of the body including one or more snap-in receptacles situated peripherally with respect to the body and configured to fit an electric connection of the electric heating apparatus.
EXHAUST DEVICE AND STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
An exhaust device in which a muffler is disposed on a side of a straddle-type vehicle includes the muffler including a tail pipe configured to discharge exhaust gas and protruding rearward, a tail cover covering a periphery of the tail pipe behind the muffler, and a protector for heat shield interposed between the muffler and the tail cover. Inner sides of the tail cover and the protector in a vehicle width direction are configured to be fixed to each other by a fastening member. An elastic locking portion is formed on an outer side of one of the tail cover and the protector in the vehicle width direction, and a holding portion configured to hold the elastic locking portion is formed on an outer side of another of the tail cover and the protector in the vehicle width direction.
Vehicle exhaust system
A vehicle exhaust system includes a vehicle body structure, an exhaust system, a rear bumper assembly, an exhaust finisher and a boot. The exhaust assembly is supported to an underside of the vehicle body structure. The rear bumper assembly is also supported to the vehicle body structure. The exhaust finisher is non-movably attached to one of the vehicle body structure and the rear bumper assembly. The exhaust finisher extends at least part way through an opening of the rear bumper assembly. The boot has a first end, a second end, and a flexible portion. The first end is attached to a rear end of the exhaust assembly. The second end is attached to a forward end of the exhaust finisher and the flexible portion extends from the trout end to the second end. The flexible portion is elastically deformable in response to thermal expansion and contraction of the exhaust assembly.
CONNECTING PIECE FOR FLUID LINES OF AN EXHAUST-GAS AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM
The invention relates to a connecting piece (6) for fluid lines of an exhaust gas aftertreatment system (1), comprising a hollow body (6a) having at least three fluid connection points (14, 15), which are fluidically connected to each other in the hollow body (6a), at least two of the fluid connection points (15) being separated from a third fluid connection point (14) by means of respective membranes (19), each membrane (19) being permeable to a liquid and, when wetted by the liquid, being impermeable to a gas.
Heatable container for liquid
A heatable liquid container made of plastic material include a container wall that defines an interior of the container. The container wall at least partially consists of the plastic material which contains inductively heatable additives. An electrically actuatable magnetization unit is associated with the liquid container and operable to generate a magnetic alternating field such that the inductively heatable additives are inductively excited by the magnetization unit so as to directly heat a liquid held in the interior of the container via the container wall.
Device for providing a liquid additive
A device for providing a liquid additive for exhaust-gas purification, having at least one duct for conducting the liquid additive, the duct having a duct wall which has a first stiffness. There is inserted into the duct an insert component (5) that extends at least in sections along the duct, wherein the insert component is composed of a solid material.
EXHAUST TAIL TRIM FOR VEHICLE
An exhaust tail trim for a vehicle capable of being manufactured in various colors and having advantages of improving aesthetic sense, improving sense of integrated design and improving merchantability of a vehicle may include a heat pipe assembly disposed at an outside of an exhaust pipe through which exhaust gas is discharged; and a trim cover disposed at an end portion of the exhaust pipe and located at an outside of the heat pipe assembly, where the trim cover is made of synthetic resin.
