INJECTOR FOR REDUCTANT DELIVERY UNIT HAVING FLUID VOLUME REDUCTION ASSEMBLY
A fluid injector, including a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet and a fluid path from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet; a tube having an end at the fluid inlet; a filter disposed in the tube proximal to the fluid inlet; and a volume reduction member disposed in the tube downstream of the filter, contacting an inner surface of the tube and including a through-bore defining at least a portion of the fluid path, the bore having a smaller diameter than an inner diameter of the tube and the volume reduction member occupying a volume in the tube such that the volume reduction member reduces an amount of space for fluid in the fluid injector. A cap member, in which the filter is disposed, engages with the volume reduction member such that the filter, the volume reduction member and the cap form a single assembly member.
Exhaust tip
A decorative automotive exhaust comprising cut outs on an exterior portion to expose a decorative plate. The depth of the decorative plate relative to the cut outs creates a 3D perspective.
EXHAUST COUPLING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method including a non-metallic shell to prevent debris from contacting a component of an exhaust system is disclosed. The shell may be formed from silicone. The shell may also form part of an assembly including a metallic corrugated body, which may be positioned between two pipe sections of the exhaust system. The shell may be separate from an exhaust coupler and be secured separately to the two pipe sections connected to the exhaust coupler.
Delivery module for use in a system for purifying the exhaust gases of a combustion engine
A liquid delivery module including: a base plate positioned through an opening made in a wall of a liquid tank; a pump assembly configured to pump liquid from the base plate and to deliver the liquid to a supply line, via a hydraulic connector; a cover adapted to be fixed to the base plate. The pump assembly is mounted outside the tank. The hydraulic connector is partially or entirely integrated to the cover.
LIQUID TANK WITH A PLASTIC SHELL
The present disclosure relates to a fluid tank for storing fluid for use in a motor vehicle. The fluid tank may include a fluid tank shell that defines a chamber of the fluid tank; a heating device in the chamber of the fluid tank and configured to heat the fluid in the fluid tank; and a plastic jacket that encloses at least a portion of the heating device.
LIQUID TANK WITH A RADIATOR
The present disclosure relates to a liquid tank to accommodate liquid for use in a vehicle. The liquid tank may include a liquid tank shell including a concavity formed in the liquid tank shell that is accessible from an outer area of the liquid tank shell; and a heater disposed within the concavity and configured to heat the liquid tank shell.
Exhaust heat recovery device structure
An exhaust heat recovery device structure that includes: an exhaust heat recovery device main body that is disposed at an inner side of a floor tunnel formed at a vehicle transverse direction central portion of a floor panel, the exhaust heat recovery device main body carrying out heat exchange between cooling water and gas that is generated at an internal combustion engine of a vehicle; and a metal pipe that extends-out from the exhaust heat recovery device main body, the metal pipe being connected to one end of a resin hose whose another end is connected to the internal combustion engine, the connected portion that connects the metal pipe with the resin hose being provided to the metal pipe further toward a vehicle lower side than the exhaust heat recovery device main body, is provided.
Urea Sensor Protection Assembly and Urea Sensor System
A urea sensor protection assembly for protecting a fluid sensor of a urea sensor system comprises an inner cage supporting the fluid sensor and an outer cage. The inner cage has a first fixation element fixing the inner cage to a common holder. The outer cage has a filter capable of blocking a plurality of air bubbles and/or allowing a fluid to pass and a second fixation element fixing the outer cage to the common holder. The inner cage is at least partially arranged in an inner volume of the outer cage in an assembled state.
Exhaust tip
The present invention is directed to a vehicle exhaust tip where in cuts are made in the outer surface of the exhaust tip to expose a decorative plate within the exhaust tip. The decorative plate can be colored or have other decorative attributes that can be seen from the outside of the exhaust tip. The decorative elements appear to create three dimensional art due to the shadowing effect of the cut in the outer surface of the exhaust tip.
Exhaust Mechanism
An exhaust mechanism includes: an exhaust pipe configured to circulate exhaust gas from an engine; a first outer pipe disposed along the exhaust pipe on an outer periphery of the exhaust pipe; a second outer pipe disposed along the first outer pipe on an outer periphery of the first outer pipe; a pair of intermediate members disposed on the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe, fixed to respective inner peripheral surfaces of a first end portion and a second end portion of the first outer pipe, and being lower in thermal conductivity than the exhaust pipe. A vacuum layer is provided between the first outer pipe and the second outer pipe. At least one of the intermediate members is configured to slide in an axial direction of the exhaust pipe.
