Saddle-ridden vehicle
A saddle-ridden vehicle includes: an engine; a radiator unit which is disposed in front of the engine and cools cooling water sent from the engine; a supercharger which is disposed between the engine and the radiator unit and compresses air for combustion to be supplied to the engine; and a reservoir tank which is connected to the radiator unit and stores cooling water to flow into the radiator unit, the radiator unit includes a top radiator disposed in top-front of the engine and a bottom radiator disposed below the top radiator, and the reservoir tank is disposed below the supercharger between the engine and the bottom radiator.
Four-cycle multi-cylinder engine
A four-cycle multi-cylinder engine includes a crankcase, a cylinder block, a crankshaft, and a gear-shift input shaft. The crankcase is vertically divided into an upper case and a lower case. The cylinder block is integrated with the crankcase. The crankshaft and the gear-shift input shaft are journaled to a contact surface of the crankcase. The cylinder block is inclined rearward such that an extended line intersects with a cylinder axis line of the cylinder block at an acute angle in an engine side view. The extended line connects respective central axes of the crankshaft and the gear-shift input shaft.
ENGINE TEMPERATURE REGULATING DEVICE
Disclosed is an engine temperature regulating device installed to a cool air inlet of a casing of an engine. The engine temperature regulating device includes a power source, a link rod module connected to the power source, a control module and a fan cover module including a fixed casing and a movable casing. The control module is provided for detecting a temperature when the engine is turned on to control the power source to drive the link rod module, so as to control the rotation of the connected movable casing and further adjust an air intake hole of the fixed casing to a smooth or obscured state.
Engine and motorcycle
There is provided an engine. An exhaust manifold is attached to an exhaust port of a cylinder head. A supercharger has a turbine housing accommodating therein a turbine configured to rotate by an exhaust air from the exhaust port. A balancer is disposed at a front side in a crank case. A radiator is disposed in front of the engine. The exhaust manifold and the turbine housing are integrally formed. The supercharger is disposed above the balancer. The radiator is disposed above the supercharger.
Cooling water passage structure of internal combustion engine
A cooling water passage structure of internal combustion engine includes a cylinder-block-side cooling water passage, a cylinder-head-side cooling water passage, a heat exchanger, and cooling water passage pipes. The cylinder-block-side cooling water passage is formed inside a cylinder block of an engine to cause cooling water to flow through. The cylinder-head-side cooling water passage is formed inside a cylinder head to cause cooling water to flow through. The heat exchanger is configured to dissipate heat of cooling water to external air to decrease a temperature of the cooling water. The cooling water passage pipes couple the heat exchanger and the engine to exchange cooling water. The cylinder head includes a cooling water inlet. The cooling water passage pipe is coupled to the cooling water inlet. The cooling water from the heat exchanger flows into the cooling water inlet.
ELECTRIC COMPONENT SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR SADDLE RIDE VEHICLE
In the electric component support structure for the saddle ride vehicle including a body frame F that supports a water-cooled engine, and a radiator that is supported on the body frame through collars, a gyro sensor is fixed to electric component support pieces provided on the radiator.
SADDLE TYPE VEHICLE HAVING WATER COOLED ENGINE
To provide a saddle type vehicle with a water cooled engine allowing simplification of the mounting structure for a thermostat and a check valve.
A saddle type vehicle having a water cooled engine, includes: a thermostat provided in a cooling water path of the water cooled engine; and a check valve provided in a secondary air path supplying secondary air to an exhaust path of the water cooled engine, wherein a case of the thermostat and a case of the check valve are formed integrally. The case of the thermostat is formed in a cylindrical configuration, and the case of the check valve is integrally connected to the cylindrical side wall thereof.
Heat Exchanger for a Cooling System, Cooling System, and Assembly
The invention provides a heat exchanger for a cooling system of a motor vehicle, in particular a motorcycle. The heat exchanger includes a housing, a supply connection via which a fluid can be supplied to the heat exchanger, a return connection via which the cooled fluid can be discharged from the heat exchanger, and a heat exchange region in which the fluid interacts with a medium in order to be cooled. The fluid dispenses thermal energy to the medium. The supply connection and the return connection are arranged on a common connection side of the housing. The heat exchange region includes multiple heat exchanger tubes through which the fluid flows from the connection side to a side opposite the connection side. A singular discharge tube runs from the opposite side to the return connection. The invention further provides a cooling system and an assembly.
STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle-type vehicle includes a radiator; an engine; and a passage which is provided inside the cylinder block and the cylinder head, flows a coolant from the cylinder head toward the cylinder block, and is provided with an inlet located on a rear side of the cylinder head; a pipe which flows the coolant from the radiator toward the passage, and flows the coolant from an outlet toward the radiator; and a thermostat which limits a flow of the coolant inside the pipe in a case where a temperature of the coolant is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature, and permits the flow of the coolant in a case where the temperature is higher than the predetermined temperature, wherein the outlet is provided on a front side of the cylinder block and the thermostat is attached on a front portion of the engine.
STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle-type vehicle comprises a radiator through which air flowing from a front flows in a forward and rearward direction of a vehicle body; an engine which generates driving power for allowing the straddle-type vehicle to travel, the engine being disposed rearward of the radiator; and a cover unit covering from above a space formed between the radiator and the engine, and the engine, wherein the cover unit includes: a hard cover which is located at a front side of the cover unit, extends rearward from the radiator, and covers the space formed between the radiator and the engine; and a soft cover which is located at a rear side of the cover unit, extends rearward from the hard cover, and covers the engine.
