Feed additive composition
A method for improving the performance of a subject or for improving digestibility of a raw material in a feed (e.g. nutrient digestibility, such as amino acid digestibility), or for improving nitrogen retention, or for improving dietary phosphorus absorption and retention, or for improving the efficacy of the phytase, or for improving the subject's resistance to necrotic enteritis or for improving feed conversion ratio (FCR) or for improving weight gain in a subject or for improving feed efficiency in a subject or for modulating (e.g. improving) the immune response of the subject or for reducing populations of pathogenic bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract of a subject, or for reducing nutrient excretion in manure, which method comprising administering to a subject at least one direct fed microbial in combination with a phytase, wherein the phytase is administered to the subject at a dosage of more than about 1500 FTU/kg feed.

Rumen-protected lutein product for producing high-lutein dairy products
A rumen-protected carotenoid animal feed product is described that is free-flowing, resistant to ruminal degradation and effective at raising the carotenoid level in milk produced by the animal.
Cannabis-Hemp Animal Feed
The present invention provides a commercial process for preparing the ‘Cannabis-Hemp Animal Feed’ into a feed grade nutritional supplement. The process produces both a fully cooked, and raw feed product combined, that can be inserted into an edible consumption vessel of any type, or processed into any shape, for animal ingestion purposes.
The commercial process entails the combining of various proteins, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, terpenes, flavonoids, decarboxylated cannabinoids (and various raw cannabinoids) that are found in the Cannabis-Hemp Plant; with various fats and thickeners for the purposes of creating a ‘feed’ that can be ingested and metabolized as a feed grade nutritional supplement, and/or as a direct animal feed product.
To accomplish this process, a quantity of the Cannabis-Hemp Plant must be raw and processed, and a quantity of the Cannabis-Hemp Plant must be heat-cooked, with added fats or not. The heat-cooked Cannabis-Hemp plant may then be repeatedly heat-cooked (with fresh fats or not) for maximum efficacy.

Polypeptides having protease activity
The present invention relates to isolated polypeptides having protease activity and isolated nucleic acid sequences encoding the proteases. The invention also relates to nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells, including plant and animal cells, comprising the nucleic acid sequences, as well as methods for producing and using the proteases, in particular the use of the proteases in animal feed.
Edible pet chew and method for making the same
An edible pet chew has a member of meat based material chewy sheet. The “meat based material” chewy sheet imitates the durability and strength property of known rawhide sheet and simultaneously has inherent attraction to dogs with meat in its formula. A first aspect of present invention is that, the edible pet chew has a SINGLE chewy sheet of meat based material. A second aspect of present invention is that, the edible pet chew has a meat based material chewy sheet member and additionally an edible material member being wrapped therein. A third aspect of present invention is that, the edible pet chew has an edible material member and additionally a meat based material chewy sheet member being wrapped therein. A forth aspect of present invention provides a method for making the edible pet chew with the essential member of meat based material chewy sheet.
Method and Composition for Reducing Hyperthyroidism
The current invention relates to methods of reducing hyperthyroidism in an animal by feeding the animal with a diet including vitamin K. The vitamin K is in an amount effective to reduce factors such as creatinine, triiodothyronine (T3), and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). The current invention also relates to pet food composition that include effective amount of vitamin K to reduce the circulating levels of creatinine, T3 and TSH. In addition, the methods of making such a food composition are also disclosed.
