A prechamber sparkplug assembly includes a sparkplug, and a sparkplug housing having a prechamber tip. A cooling cavity is formed between the inside radial wall and the outside radial wall. Coolant ports extend through the outside radial wall and fluidly connect to the cooling cavity to place the cooling cavity in fluid communication with a water jacket in a cylinder head.

A cylinder head assembly includes a cylinder head having a top deck, a fire deck, and an igniter post extending upward from the fire deck. An igniter sleeve is within an igniter bore in the cylinder head and includes a locating surface clamped against an upward facing stop surface of the cylinder head. A tip coolant clearance is defined axially between a sleeve tip and the fire deck, and a body coolant clearance is defined peripherally between the igniter sleeve and the cylinder head and is continuously circumferential of the igniter sleeve axially between the sleeve tip and a coolant cavity formed in the cylinder head.

A cylinder head assembly for an internal combustion engine includes a cast cylinder head, a turbocharger housing including a compressor housing and turbine housing integrally cast with the cylinder head, and a turbocharger cartridge assembly configured to be inserted into the turbocharger housing and including a shaft coupled between a compressor wheel and a turbine wheel. A compressor cover is configured to couple to the compressor housing and define a compressor inlet and at least partially define a compressor diffuser passage. The cartridge assembly includes a housing having a diffuser flange extending outwardly therefrom, the diffuser flange including a front surface and an opposite contoured volute surface. The compressor diffuser passage is at least partially defined by the compressor cover and the diffuser flange front surface. A compressor volute is at least partially defined by the diffuser flange contoured volute surface and a contoured inner surface of the compressor housing.

CYLINDER HEAD WITH INTEGRATED TURBOCHARGER

A cylinder head assembly for an internal combustion engine includes a cast cylinder head, a turbocharger housing including a compressor housing and turbine housing integrally cast with the cylinder head, and a turbocharger cartridge assembly configured to be inserted into the turbocharger housing and including a shaft coupled between a compressor wheel and a turbine wheel. The compressor diffuser passage is at least partially defined by the compressor cover and the diffuser flange front surface. A compressor volute is at least partially defined by the diffuser flange contoured volute surface and a contoured inner surface of the compressor housing.

Engine Device

An engine device includes an exhaust gas purification device above a cylinder head through a support pedestal. The support pedestal has a flat portion on which the exhaust gas purification device is mounted, and a plurality of legs which protrude downward form the flat portion and are fixed to the cylinder head. The flat portion and the leg portion are formed integrally. Portions between the legs are each formed in an arch-shape.

A valve assembly for an engine includes a gas exchange valve, a valve guide, and a seal. The gas exchange valve includes a valve stem. The valve guide includes an outer surface having a stem seal retention surface disposed at a seal end thereof. The valve stem extends through the valve guide such that the valve is reciprocally movable over a range of travel along the longitudinal axis with respect thereto. The seal is mounted to the stem seal retention surface of the valve guide such that the seal is in running, sealing engagement with the valve stem. The stem seal retention surface includes a shoulder surface to help retain the seal.
