Connecting rod for an internal combustion engine with variable compression
A connecting rod for an internal combustion engine with variable compression, the connecting rod including an eccentrical element adjustment arrangement configured to adjust an effective connecting rod length, wherein the eccentrical element adjustment arrangement includes an eccentrical element that cooperates with an eccentrical element lever and supports rods that engage the eccentrical element lever, and wherein the eccentrical element lever is integrally configured in one piece as a stamped and bent component or fabricated by a massive cold forming method.
ENGINE DEVICE
An engine device having a flywheel housing (7) in which a flywheel that is rotated integrally with a crankshaft (5) is accommodated on one side portion (303) of a cylinder block (6), in which the cylinder block (6) is integrally formed with housing bracket portions (304) each protruding in a direction away from the crankshaft (5) from each of opposite side portions (301) of the cylinder block (6) extending along a crankshaft axial direction (300), the housing bracket portions (304) protruding from end portions of the opposite side portions (301) close to the one side portion (303). A space surrounded by the one side portion (301), the housing bracket portions (304), and the flywheel housing (7) constitutes a gear case (330) for accommodating therein a gear train.
Internal combustion engine
An internal combustion engine includes a main body including an attachment portion; an EGR cooler including a portion fastened to the main body; and an EGR valve including a fixing portion fastened to the attachment portion with a bolt and a connection portion fastened to the EGR cooler. A pin is fixed to one of the fixing portion and the attachment portion. An insertion hole into which the pin is inserted is arranged in the other one of the fixing portion and the attachment portion. An inner diameter of the insertion hole is greater than an outer diameter of the pin, and a value obtained by subtracting the outer diameter of the pin from the inner diameter of the insertion hole is less than a value obtained by subtracting a shank diameter of the bolt from an inner diameter of a bolt hole in the fixing portion.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AN ENGINE HOUSING ASSEMBLY WITH A REINFORCEMENT MEMBER
Methods and systems are provided for an engine housing assembly. In one example, an engine housing assembly comprises an engine housing component, the housing component at least partially defining a first bore for receiving a first shaft and at least partially defining a second bore for receiving a second shaft; and a reinforcement member cast into the housing, the reinforcement member having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the housing component, wherein the reinforcement member at least partially surrounds the first and second bores. A method of manufacturing the engine housing assembly is also provided.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle includes an engine, a particulate filter, and an oil separator. The particulate filter is connected to the engine to collect particulate matters contained in exhaust gas from the engine. The particulate filter is provided to overlap with the engine when viewed in a height direction along a height of the work vehicle. The oil separator is connected to the engine via a blow-by-gas discharge pipe to catch a liquid component in blow-by-gas from the engine. The oil separator is provided between the engine and the particulate filter to overlap with the particulate filter when viewed in the height direction.
Bearing unit structure and manufacturing method thereof
A bearing unit structure includes a bearing and a bearing holding unit. The bearing rotatably supports a drive shaft. The bearing holding unit is provided to a crankcase so as to hold the bearing. A groove portion is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the bearing holding unit, and the inner peripheral surface faces the bearing. A thermal expansion correction band made of a resin is integrally formed with the bearing holding unit in a state of being embedded into the groove portion.
CLOSURE ELEMENT FOR CLOSING A HOUSING IN A HEAT-TRANSFER-FLUID PUMP CONTAINED IN AN ENGINE
A closure element is provided for closing a recess in a heat-transfer-fluid pump that is contained in an engine of a vehicle. In particular, in a cylinder block of the engine, the closure element including an element for guiding the flow of heat transfer fluid to an inlet of the pump.
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH TWO WORKING SPACES OF A CYLINDER
An engine having a cylinder fastened to the engine ease with the biconcave internal partition, which divides the cylinder into the upper and bottom parts. Sparking plugs are mounted on both sides of the partition. The upper and the bottom parts of the cylinder have side scavenging channels which connect suction spaces to the working spaces of both parts of the cylinder. The upper and bottom parts of the cylinder have inlet and outlet orifices. Inside the upper and inside the bottom part of the cylinder and the upper and bottom piston are placed respectively, while both pistons are directed towards each other by the working surfaces. The pistons are connected by a rod that is led through the linear bearing that is embedded in the partition forming a seal. The connecting rod is fastened to the bottom piston and by its other end it is connected to the crankshaft.
ROTATION SPEED DETECTING APPARATUS OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
In a rotation speed detecting apparatus of an internal combustion engine having a rotor supported by an end part of the crankshaft, a pulser ring that has a detected body composed of recess-projection teeth and rotates integrally with the rotor, and a detector that detects the rotation speed of the crankshaft by detecting the detected body, the detected body has a detected surface opposed to the detector, and the detected surface is inclined in such a manner as to be located closer to the outside of the crankshaft in the axial direction of the crankshaft as getting more apart from an axis line of the crankshaft in the radial direction. In the detector, an axis line of the detector is inclined with respect to the axis line of the crankshaft in such a manner that the detector is opposed to the detected surface.
Damper pulley
A damper pulley assembly for a vehicle engine is provided wherein the damper pulley assembly includes a hub, a pulley and a hybrid shield affixed to the hub. The hub may be affixed to the crankshaft. The hub includes a pulley contact surface. The pulley may be mounted on the hub at the pulley contact surface of the hub. The hybrid shield may be affixed to the hub. The hybrid shield may be configured to attenuate an axial flow of noise and vibration from the crank shaft when the crankshaft, the hub, and the pulley are rotating.
