FUEL EJECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR FUEL ASSISTED EGR FLOW
A fuel ejector assembly includes a nozzle structured to receive fuel from a fuel conduit and eject the fuel therethrough, and an exhaust gas recirculation (“EGR”) conduit structured to communicate a recirculated exhaust gas therethrough. A mixing portion is disposed downstream of the nozzle and the EGR conduit, the nozzle and the EGR conduit fluidly coupled to the mixing portion such that the mixing portion receives each of the fuel and the recirculated exhaust gas. A diffuser is disposed downstream of the mixing portion and is configured to be fluidly coupled to an engine to communicate a mixture of the fuel and the recirculated exhaust gas to the engine.
PRESSURE REGULATION DEVICE
A pressure regulation device is configured to regulate a pressure of a fluid that flows in the pressure regulation device. The pressure regulation device includes a fluid flow passage, a fluid regulator, and at least one wall member. The fluid flow passage is a passage in which the fluid flows. The fluid regulator is disposed in the fluid flow passage, and configured to regulate a pressure of the fluid. The at least one wall member is disposed upstream of the fluid regulator in a flow of the fluid, and stands from an interior wall of the fluid flow passage.
METHOD AND GAS FUEL INJECTION UNIT FOR OPERATING AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
The present invention relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine provided as a medium-speed gas engine or dual fuel engine in a gas fuel mode. The method comprises the step of directly injecting a gas fuel into a combustion chamber of the engine at a maximum injection pressure that is lower than a compression-end pressure of the engine.
GAS INJECTOR HAVING REDUCED WEAR
A gas injector for injecting a gaseous fuel. The gas injector includes a solenoid actuator having an armature, an internal pole and a coil; a closing element, which unblocks and seals a gas path at a valve seat, the armature being connected to the closing element; a sealed lubricant chamber, which is filled with a lubricant, and in which the armature is situated, the lubricant ensuring lubrication of the armature; and a flexible sealing element, which seals the lubricant chamber with respect to the gas path, a damping device being situated in the lubricant chamber.
FUEL INJECTION DEVICE FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE, IN PARTICULAR FOR A HYDROGEN COMBUSTION ENGINE
The invention relates to a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine comprising at least one central rail which is in fluid communication with at least one primary fuel tank, characterized in that at least one auxiliary fuel pressure accumulator is provided, the internal volume of which is in communication with the central rail via at least one control valve in order to temporarily provide a simultaneous fuel supply to the central rail from the auxiliary fuel pressure accumulator and the primary fuel tank.
SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH BOIL-OFF MANAGEMENT FOR LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE
A system and a method with boil-off management for liquefied fuel storage are provided. The system includes a cryotank for storing a liquefied fuel, a pump for providing and compressing a first stream of the liquefied fuel, a heat exchanger for provide cooling duty to the first stream of the liquefied fuel, and an expansion valve for expanding the first stream of the liquefied fuel after the heat exchanger into a multiphase stream comprising a liquid phase and a gas phase. The multiphase stream has a temperature lower than an initial temperature of the first stream from the cryotank. The system further comprises a liquid-vapor splitter for separating the liquid phase and gas phase in the multiphase stream. The liquid phase is returned into the cryotank.
Multi-fuel switching device
A multi-fuel switching device, including a gas part, is provided. The gas part includes a switching valve. The switching valve includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet. An internal rotation of the housing is provided with a valve core located between the air inlet and the air outlet. The valve core is provided with a first airway and a second airway. Cross-sectional sizes of the first airway and the second airway are different. The first airway or the second airway is selected through rotating the valve core to connect the air inlet and the air outlet. The solution solves the issue that a fuel switching device in the prior art cannot adapt to three or more fuels, which causes an internal combustion engine to be unable to maintain the optimal working state.
GAS SUPPLY PUMP FOR SHIP DUAL FUEL ENGINE
The present invention relates to a gas supply pump comprising: a camshaft which can be rotated; a plurality of cam noses provided at regular intervals in a lengthwise direction of the camshaft and having an eccentric shape from the center of the camshaft; a cam roller provided to be in close contact with each cam nose; and a drive shaft and a piston provided to neighbor with one side of the cam roller; and a liquefied gas compression device which pressurizes and exhausts a liquefied gas according to a straight reciprocation of the piston.
MULTIPLE COMBUSTION MODE ENGINE WITH AMMONIA FUEL AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed is a multiple combustion mode engine with ammonia fuel including an cylinder head, a cylinder sleeve, a piston, a main combustion chamber, an inlet valve and an exhaust valve, and further including a jet ignition device arranged on the cylinder head and used for providing an ignition source for the main combustion chamber, and an ammonia injector used for providing ammonia/air mixture gas for the main combustion chamber. Also disclosed is a control method of the multiple combustion mode engine with ammonia fuel. The time sequence of ammonia injection of the main combustion chamber and jet flame generation of the pre-chamber is controlled, the mixed state of the fuel/air in the main combustion chamber before ignition can be controlled, and finally different combustion modes, i.e. a premixed combustion mode and a diffusion combustion mode, are formed in the main combustion chamber.
Ferrule coupling for joining ducts together
An apparatus comprising an inner ferrule and an outer ferrule. The inner ferrule comprises a plurality of engagement sections that define a plurality of gaps between the plurality of engagement sections. The outer ferrule is disposed around at least a portion of the inner ferrule. The outer ferrule comprises an engagement area mechanically joined to the plurality of engagement sections to join the inner ferrule to the outer ferrule.
