PRODUCT BAG RETENTION ASSEMBLY
A product bag suspension assembly includes a rod having a first end, a second end, and a body extending between the first end and the second end. A platform is operatively coupled to the second end of the rod and defines an aperture arrangement configured to receive a mounting device of a product bag. The rod is configured to suspend the product bag in an upright position when the product bag is coupled to the platform.
BREATHING MASK WITH COUPLING ELEMENTS FOR HEAD STRAP
The invention relates to a respiratory mask of modular construction. The main components are reduced to four parts and are provided by the mask body, the forehead support, the mask bead and the attachment piece. The design, according to the invention, of the outflow structure between mask body and forehead support makes apertures in the mask body unnecessary for this purpose. The strap coupling in the region of the mask body is made easier by a funnel-shaped guide structure such that it is possible in a simple manner even without seeing it.
Operating table barriers and methods of use thereof
In one embodiment, a barrier includes two side panels extending on parallel planes and spaced laterally apart. Each side panel including a back end, a front edge opposed to the back end, a bottom edge, and an engagement feature on the bottom edge of each side panel. A back panel connects the side panels at the back ends, and a shield extends from an upper end of the back panel at an oblique angle in an upward and forward direction.
Device for operatively coupling to a structure and directing gas flow and a method of use thereof
A device for operatively coupling to a structure and directing gas flow and a method of use thereof are provided. The device comprises an attachment apparatus, a gas outlet nozzle, and a. housing. The attachment apparatus is configured to operatively couple to the structure. The gas outlet nozzle is configured to direct a flow of gas to a desired location. The housing is operatively coupled to the attachment apparatus and the gas flow nozzle.
TUBE ORGANIZER ASSEMBLY
An organizer assembly including a belt and a ribbon. The ribbon has a first clamp member, a second clamp member, and a first carrier portion. The first clamp member is configured to receive a conduit or a support to fix the conduit or the support relative to the ribbon. The belt includes an elongated body that is slidably received in the first carrier portion. The organizer assembly may include one or more adapters that are received in a respective clamp member of the ribbon and configured to receive a conduit or a support to fix the conduit or support relative to the ribbon.
MEDICAL SYSTEM WITH SEPARATOR DEVICE
A medical system comprises an operation console, a support platform configured to support a catheter, a driving unit moveably coupled to the support platform, the driving unit being configured to advance or retract the catheter based on an instruction from the operation console, a support platform configured to support a catheter, a separator device including: a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a fixed length portion between the first end and the second end, and a medical tube adaptor including: a first end, and a second end opposite the first end and mateable with a medical tube. The medical tube is insertable into a mouth of a patient. The second end of the separator device is mateable with or attached to the first end of the medical tube adapter.
PRESSURE-MEASURING ASSEMBLY FOR AN EXTRACORPOREAL BLOOD TREATMENT MACHINE
A pressure-measuring assembly for measuring the internal line pressure of a line system of an extracorporeal blood treatment machine. The assembly includes a pressure sensor that is connectable to a pressure receiver by a rigid, bending-resistant fluid line. The pressure receiver is connected or connectable to the line system. The pressure sensor converts a fluid pressure signal from the fluid line into an electrical signal. An electrical line connects the pressure sensor to electronics to process the electrical signal. A retainer directly or indirectly retains the pressure sensor and forms, at least in parts, an inner channel, in which the electrical line is led. Alternatively, the retainer is a substantially plastically curvable bar which has, at one axial end portion, a fastening device for mounting on a stationary base and, at the other axial end portion, an articulation site for the pressure sensor or the pressure receiver.
DIALYSIS MACHINE HAVING A HOLDING DEVICE FOR HOLDING AND FIXING AT LEAST ONE ELECTRONIC TERMINAL DEVICE
A holding device for holding and fixing at least one electronic terminal device, in particular of the entertainment electronics type, during a medical treatment, more particularly dialysis treatment. The terminal device is or can be attached to a medical treatment apparatus, such as a dialysis machine, or to a patient bed. The holding device includes an integrated charging unit to supply the held and/or fixed electronic terminal device with power, more particularly from the medical treatment apparatus, with a protection circuit being integrated in the holding device to detect a defect of a terminal device that has just been connected. A charging unit includes an integral power supply unit on a dialysis machine or patient bed having a holding device.
PRESSURE JACKETS AND SYRINGE RETENTION FEATURES FOR ANGIOGRAPHY FLUID INJECTORS
An assembly for retaining a pressure jacket (134) and a syringe (132) on a fluid injector, the assembly including a base plate (1902) comprising a body (1904); at least a first retaining arm (1910a) and a second retaining arm (1910b) operatively mounted on the body of the base plate, the first retaining arm having a first retaining surface at a distal end thereof and the second retaining arm having a second retaining surface at a distal end thereof, wherein the first retaining surface and the second retaining surface are configured for abutting a distal surface of at least one of the pressure jacket and the syringe; a linkage assembly operatively connected to at least one of the first retaining arm and the second retaining arm, wherein the linkage assembly is configured to move at least one of the first retaining arm and the second retaining arm between at least a first open position and a closed position.
Individual Biocontainment Unit to Reduce Infectious or Communicable Disease Transmission to Healthcare Workers, Bystanders, and Patients
A biocontainment assembly for use with a patient suspected of having or diagnosed with a transmissible disease(s) capable of respiratory, airborne, contact, or droplet transmission includes a housing configured to be positioned over and at least partially enclose a head, neck, and/or torso of the patient. A sidewall of the housing includes an open portion contiguous with an at least partially pen bottom portion of the housing, sized to fit over at least a portion of the head, neck, and/or a torso of the patient. The housing also includes an airflow opening for evacuating fluid from an interior defined by the housing. The assembly also includes a drape configured to extend across the open portion of the sidewall having a first portion removably connected to the housing and an opposing second portion configured to be draped over the torso, abdomen, waist, and/or legs of the patient.
