The portable standby starting device includes a battery circuit, a load access detecting circuit, and a vehicle starting circuit, wherein the battery circuit is coupled to the load access detecting circuit and the vehicle starting circuit, and is configured to supply power to the load access detecting circuit and the vehicle starting circuit; the load access detecting circuit is coupled to the vehicle starting circuit, and is configured to detect whether the vehicle starting circuit is connected to a vehicle load; the vehicle starting circuit is configured to, when the load access detecting circuit detects the connection of the vehicle load, output a vehicle starting current for controlling an ignition operation performed for the vehicle.
METHOD FOR CONTROL DUAL BATTERIES IN HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A method for operating a processor controlling a dual battery mounted on a hybrid electric vehicle, includes opening a relay positioned between a first battery for a load and a second battery for starting, and checking whether the attempt to start is successful when an attempt to start the hybrid electric vehicle is detected, closing the relay so that the first battery and the second battery are electrically connected in parallel when the processor concludes that the attempt to start is unsuccessful, and charging the second battery by entering the second battery into a charging mode when a reattempt to start the hybrid electric vehicle is successful.
Multifunction flexible LED flashlight
A flashlight having a housing, a light-end assembly, and a user interface. The light-end assembly, which may be coupled to an end of the housing, may comprise a flexible light component having a proximal end and a distal end. A first plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) may be distributed on the first flexible light component between the proximal end and the distal end. The flexible light component may include a flexible, semi-rigid structure to maintain the flexible light component in a desired shape or position.
Rechargeable battery jump starting device with control switch backlight system
A rechargeable battery jump starting device with a control switch backlight system. The control switch backlight system is configured to assist a user viewing the selectable positions of the control switch for selecting a particular 12V or 24V operating mode of the portable rechargeable battery jump starting device in day light, sunshine, low light, and darkness.
Driver Initiated Remote Engine Start for Vehicle Preconditioning Having Battery Charge Maintenance Priority
A method includes remotely starting an engine of a vehicle in response to a command, from a remote user of the vehicle, to start the engine for preconditioning the vehicle. The method assesses a charge level of a battery of the vehicle following engine start and adjusts engine-on time and vehicle settings to prioritize battery charge maintenance versus preconditioning based on the charge level. Another method for remotely starting the engine includes notifying, from the vehicle, the user that the battery has a charge level below a predetermined threshold. This method includes remotely starting the engine to charge the battery with energy from the engine upon receiving from the user a confirmation to start the engine.
ELECTROMAGNETIC SWITCH DEVICE FOR STARTER
An electromagnetic switch device for starter includes a connector assembly which has a plurality of connectors formed by stamping a conductive material and which forms a motor electric circuit and an electric circuit for supplying power to an attraction coil and a holding coil, wherein the connector assembly includes: a connector (A) connecting one of a pair of sub fixed contacts and a battery terminal; a connector (B) connecting the other one of the pair of sub fixed contacts, and one end of the attraction coil and one end of the holding coil; a connector (C) connecting the other end of the attraction coil and a motor terminal; a connector (D) connecting one end of a sub coil and an S terminal; and a resin member integrally fixing at least one pair of the connector (A), the connector (B), the connector (C), and the connector (D).
ELECTROMAGNETIC SWITCH DEVICE FOR STARTER
Provided is an electromagnetic switch device for starter in which an auxiliary relay is provided and which has a small size and can be easily manufactured. The electromagnetic switch device for starter includes: a main contact chamber forming a space in which a pair of main fixed contacts are located and a main movable contact can move; and a sub contact chamber forming a space in which a pair of sub fixed iron cores (A), (B) are located and a sub movable contact can move; and a cylindrical terminal block in which the main contact chamber and the sub coil are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other in the radial direction with a partition wall provided therebetween and separating the sub coil and the main contact chamber from each other.
CONTROL OF A ROLLING STOP-START VEHICLE ENGINE
A vehicle includes electric brakes, an engine with a starter, a battery and a controller. The battery has a voltage and is configured to power the starter, the electric brakes, and the controller. The controller is configured to, in response to a speed of the vehicle falling within a specified range without propulsive demand and while the voltage is greater than an upper voltage that varies based on a charge needed to engage the brakes to stop the vehicle, stop the engine.
Automobile Engine Starter Power Supply Box Structure
The automobile engine starter power supply box structure, which was designed in the right height and width for installation in place of the current automobile or motorcycle battery has the following special features one of the positions of the automobile engine starter power supply box structure has at least one space for the placement of rechargeable batteries in which removable rechargeable batteries can be placed, at a space of the automobile engine starter power supply box structure is a cap functioning to close and push the rechargeable batteries for firm mounting with the system.
