Ignition overcurrent protection device, starting power equipment and ignition overcurrent protection method
This present disclosure discloses an ignition overcurrent protection device, which includes a switch, a current detection circuit, and a controller. The switch is electrically coupled between a starting power and a power-on connector; the power-on connector is configured for connecting to the automotive power. The current detection circuit is configured for detecting a current value flowing between the starting power and the power-on connector. The controller is coupled to the switch and the current detection circuit. The controller is configured to determine a current range where the current value is located, and determine a preset time threshold corresponding to the current range, and control the switch to be turned off when a duration of the current value reaches the preset time threshold. The present disclosure also provides a starting power equipment and ignition overcurrent protection.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENGINE START
Systems and methods for starting and restarting an engine of a vehicle are disclosed. Power systems for an engine are disclosed.
METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR RESERVING TORQUE FOR ENGINE STARTING
Systems and methods for operating a hybrid vehicle are described. In one example, a torque reserve for starting an engine via an electric machine is adjusted responsive to vehicle operating conditions. The torque reserve may set aside a portion of torque that an electric machine may produce for cranking and starting an engine.
Start Stop Override Module
An override module allowing a vehicle operator to default the status of an automated start-stop system to “off.” A first embodiment uses a module that is installed in-line with a manual override button. A second embodiment uses a module that is installed on the vehicle's CAN bus.
Start Stop Override Module
An override module allowing a vehicle operator to default the status of an automated start-stop system to “off.” A first embodiment uses a module that is installed in-line with a manual override button. A second embodiment uses a module that is installed on the vehicle's CAN bus.
Locomotive assist
A locomotive being provided electrical energy from a rechargeable battery located on a separate carriage or in an alternative embodiment contained within the locomotive carriage. The rechargeable battery is optionally removable allowing a fresh rechargeable battery to be inserted to reduce down time.
HYBRID POWER TRANSMISSION MECHANISM
A hybrid power transmission mechanism includes an engine; a motor/generator having a rotor and a stator; a driven machine; a planetary gear mechanism having a sun gear, an internal gear drivingly connected to the rotor, a planetary gear, and a planetary carrier shaft including first and second extension shaft parts extending from the planetary gear in opposite directions; a first clutch switchable between a state of allowing transmission of power between the first shaft and the internal gear and a state of not allowing transmission of power therebetween; and a second clutch switchable between a state of allowing rotation of the sun gear and a state of not allowing rotation thereof. A first shaft that outputs power of the engine and a second shaft that inputs power to the driven machine are drivingly connected to the first and second extension shaft parts of the planetary carrier shaft, respectively.
METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR STARTING AN ENGINE
Systems and methods for starting an engine of a hybrid vehicle are described. In one example, the method selects one or more electric machines to start an engine. The method may reference a data structure, such as a matrix or table, and the matrix or table outputs which of the one or more electric machines is applied to start the engine.
Engine starting system
An electric starting system is provided for an engine. The electric starting system may include a self-contained housing configured to be mounted between an engine and a tool driven by the engine. The electric starting system may also include an electric motor mounted to the housing, the electric motor configured rotationally engage an output shaft of the engine to effectuate starting of the engine.
POWER SUPPLY DEVICE AND MECHANICAL DEVICE
A present invention is a power supply device, comprising a battery unit, a heater configured to generate heat on the basis of power of the battery unit, and a driving unit configured to drive the heater with a driving force according to a temperature of the battery unit.
