Stator assembly for a progressive cavity pump or a progressive cavity motor as well as method for manufacturing and repairing the same
10914306 · 2021-02-09 · ·

A stator assembly for a progressive cavity pump or a progressive cavity motor includes connectors for connecting functional elements and at least one stator, the stator including an outer pipe as well as a lining subject to wear which is disposed inside the outer pipe, the at least one stator being disposed between the connectors such that a cavity extending across the entire stator assembly for housing a rotor is created. Between at least one of the connectors and at least one stator adjacent thereto and/or between adjacent stators an adhesion region is provided, whereby in the adhesion region an adhesive is disposed in such a way that between the at least one connector and the at least one stator adjacent thereto and/or between said respectively adjacent stators a substance-to-substance connection is created.

GEAR PUMP AND GEAR MOTOR

Provided is a gear pump and a gear motor in which noise is reduced. A gear pump includes: gears which mesh and pair with each other; a casing including a gear housing chamber for housing the gears; and at least one hollow layer which is configured in the casing and divides the casing into at least inner walls and outer walls. Coincidence critical frequency of the inner walls and coincidence critical frequency of the outer walls are different. The hollow layer is formed between the gear housing chamber in the casing and an outer surface of the casing.

FLOW-THROUGH PULSING ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN DOWNHOLE OPERATIONS

A flow-through assembly for use in a downhole drilling string includes a Moineau-type motor, means for selectively activating the motor such as a ball catch component that selectively causes drilling fluid to enter into or bypass the motor, and a rotating variable choke assembly that is driven by a rotor of the motor. The choke assembly varies the flow rate of drilling fluid as rotation causes ports of the choke assembly to enter into and out of alignment with each other. In one embodiment, the choke assembly comprises a faceted rotary component including bypass ports on the facets of the component. In another embodiment, the choke assembly comprises a tapered rotary component that rotates in a complementarily tapered stationary component.

Hydraulic Motor with Anti-Cogging Features

An example hydraulic motor comprises: a stator comprising (i) a stator body having plurality of roller pockets, wherein the stator body comprises a plurality of grooves that are longitudinally-extending, and (ii) a plurality of rollers disposed respectively in the plurality of roller pockets; a rotor having a plurality of external teeth configured to engage with the plurality of rollers of the stator, such that the plurality of rollers and the plurality of external teeth define fluid chambers therebetween configured to expand and contract as the rotor rotates within the stator; and an anti-cogging passage configured to provide pressurized fluid from at least one of the fluid chambers to at least one groove of the plurality of grooves of the stator body, such that pressurized fluid provided to the at least one groove applies a radially-inward force on a respective roller toward the rotor.

ASSEMBLY OF A SERVO PUMP AND A HYDRAULIC MOTOR

An assembly of a servo pump and a hydraulic motor. The assembly has a housing which contains the pump and the motor. The motor has a rotating body which rotates under the motive power of a pressurised motor liquid flow. The motor has a high pressure region which receives the pressurised motor liquid flow, and a low pressure region through which the motor liquid flow leaves the motor. The pump also has a rotating body. The pump has a low pressure region which receives servo liquid flow to be pumped by its rotating body, and a high pressure region through which pressurised servo liquid flow leaves the pump. Each rotating body is mounted on a respective journal.

Elastase treatment of tissue matrices
10850007 · 2020-12-01 · ·

A method of producing a modified acellular tissue matrix (mATM) from an acellular tissue matrix (ATM), where the mATM has a reduced stretchiness relative to the ATM, without substantially compromising its associated structural or functional integrity. The method includes providing an acellular tissue matrix (ATM) and exposing the ATM to elastase for a period of time.
