Air pressure system
There is provided an air pressure system for controlling an air compressor in real time in accordance with the actual usage of compressed air by a plurality of terminals. Furthermore, in case pressure losses change abruptly, unwanted electric power is prevented from being consumed by a stable operation free of response delays on the basis of a predicted model that assesses time lags of volume responses. There is provided an air pressure system for supplying compressed air discharged from an air compressor through an air tank and a piping system to a plurality of terminals that consume the compressed air, including a compressor pressure sensor for measuring the pressure of compressed air discharged from the air compressor, a plurality of terminal pressure sensors for measuring the pressures of compressed air supplied respectively to the terminals, a flow rate difference calculating device for calculating deviation information on the basis of a capacity of the air tank, information on the piping system, the pressure of compressed air discharged from the air compressor, and the pressures of compressed air supplied respectively to the terminals, and a control device for controlling operation of the air compressor on the basis of the deviation information.

FLUID CONTROL DEVICE
A fluid control device includes a piezoelectric pump, a piezoelectric pump, a container, and a control unit. The piezoelectric pumps and are connected in series. The piezoelectric pump is an upstream-side pump, and the piezoelectric pump is a downstream-side pump. The control unit controls driving of the piezoelectric pumps. The control unit makes the driving start timing of the piezoelectric pump on an upstream side earlier than the driving start timing of the piezoelectric pump on a downstream side.

Active drilling mud pressure pulsation dampening
Apparatus and method for reducing pressure pulsations within drilling mud being pumped downhole by a plurality of pumps to thereby improve quality of mud-pulse telemetry. The apparatus may include a position sensor disposed in association with each pump and operable to generate a position signal indicative of operational timing of a corresponding one of the pumps, a surface telemetry device fluidly connected with the drilling mud and operable to output a telemetry quality signal indicative of the quality of mud-pulse telemetry, and a controller communicatively connected with the pumps, the position sensors, and the surface telemetry device. The controller may be operable to receive the position signal and the telemetry quality signal, and cause the pumps to change relative operational timing of the pumps based on the position signal and the telemetry quality signal to improve the quality of mud-pulse telemetry.
NEUTRAL SETTING DEVICE OF AN ADJUSTABLE HYDRAULIC UNIT
Manual displacement control device (MDC) for hydraulic units has an input shaft mounted rotatably about an input shaft axis in an input shaft block. The input shaft protrudes from the input shaft block with a first end, onto which a rotating torque can be applied. The MDC further includes a control spool housed in a control housing, which is moveable by means of rotating the input shaft for controlling a servo pressure. The control device has positioning means for adjusting and fixing the lateral position of the input shaft with respect to the control housing in a direction perpendicular to the input shaft axis and perpendicular to the direction of a restoring force exerted on the input shaft. The hydraulic unit is adjustable to its neutral position by means of a servo spring bracket providing an end stop surface for a servo spring seat towards the displacement element. The servo spring bracket is variably fixable to the hydraulic unit housing in a manner so that the orientation of the end stop surface can be adjusted parallel to the neutral position of the displacement element.

Modular hydraulic device
A modular hydraulic device comprising: a housing having a receptacle having a first open end, a second end and a first port, the first port for facilitating an ingress and an egress of hydraulic fluid with respect to the housing; a sleeve configured to be received in the first open end and abut the second end; and an end cap for closing the first open end once the sleeve is inserted in the receptacle; the sleeve having: a body having a fourth lan (L4) positioned in the body for aligning with first port; a main cylinder for holding a main piston for reciprocation about a reciprocation axis; and a first bore portion fluidly coupled to the first lan, the first bore portion for receiving the ingress of the hydraulic fluid and for outputting the egress of the hydraulic fluid; wherein once assembled the main piston is coupled to a cam for facilitating said reciprocation.
PUMP CONFIGURATION INCLUDING A PURGE VALVE
A pump and purge valve configuration may include an inlet, an outlet arranged downstream of the inlet and defining a portion of an operational fluid pathway, and a pump mechanism arranged along the operational fluid pathway between the inlet and the outlet. The pump and purge valve configuration may also include a purging fluid pathway having a purge inlet in fluid communication with the operational fluid pathway at a point downstream of the pump. The purging fluid pathway may extend from the purge inlet to a relief point. The pump and purge valve configuration may also include a purge valve arranged along the purging fluid pathway.
