Compressor with compliant seal
A compressor may include a shell, first and second scroll members, a floating seal, a muffler plate, and a wear ring. The shell defines a discharge chamber and a suction chamber. The floating seal may sealingly engage the second scroll member. The muffler plate defines the discharge chamber and the suction chamber. The wear ring may sealingly engage the muffler plate and the floating seal such that the wear ring, the muffler plate, and the floating seal fluidly isolate the discharge chamber from the suction chamber. The muffler plate may include an axially facing surface that contacts the wear ring. The axially facing surface may include an annular recess. The wear ring may at least partially cover the annular recess. The annular recess may provide clearance between the muffler plate and the wear ring to allow the wear ring to deflect relative to the muffler plate during compressor operation.
Compressor having oil feeding channels

ROTARY-TYPE COMPRESSOR
Disclosed herein is a rotary compressor capable of maintaining the overall dynamic balance and providing low vibration and low noise even at high speed operation and capable of improving efficiency by providing a communication passage to communicate operation chambers, which are provided inside each of the plurality of cylinders for compressing a refrigerant, to each other. The rotary-type compressor includes a housing, a drive motor provided inside the housing to generate power and having a stator and a rotor, and a compression unit that receives power from the drive motor and compresses the refrigerant. The compression unit includes a plurality of cylinders in which an operation chamber to compress the refrigerant is provided. The operation chambers provided in each of the plurality of cylinders are provided to have different volumes, and a balancer provided to maintain dynamic balance is provided only in the lower side of the rotor.
COMPRESSOR
The present invention relates to a compressor wherein, when oil is supplied to a single module, the module can mechanically/structurally supply the oil to a plurality of regions in a selective manner according to the pressure of a refrigerant, etc.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR HAVING ENHANCED DISCHARGE STRUCTURE
A scroll compressor is disclosed, which comprises an auxiliary discharge path capable of sufficiently making sure of a discharge area at an initial discharge stage. The compressor comprises a fixed scroll including a fixed end plate portion and a fixed wrap, and an orbiting scroll including an orbiting end plate portion and an orbiting wrap, wherein a discharge hole is formed in the fixed end plate portion, and an auxiliary discharge path for connecting a side of the orbiting wrap with a bottom surface of the orbiting wrap is provided to be communicated with the discharge hole, whereby a compressed refrigerant may be discharged through the auxiliary discharge path.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A second space communicated with a first space through communicating paths is provided on an outer circumferential side of first and second scroll bodies. Scroll end portions of the first and second scroll bodies form an inlet port configured to suck gas refrigerant into a compression chamber from the second space. Open ends of the communicating paths on a side of the second space are located at an angle larger than 0° and less than or equal to 180°, around a central axis of a rotating shaft portion, from the inlet ports in a scroll involute direction of the first scroll body and the second scroll body, respectively. Injection ports in a part of an outer circumference of the second space between the open ends and the inlet ports in a circumferential direction are configured to eject liquid refrigerant in a direction toward the inlet ports, respectively.
VOLUME RATIO FOR A R718* COMPRESSOR
Compression of water vapour as R718 is disclosed with and without addition of additives as an aqueous solution in rotational displacement machines, i.e. refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump technology. To largely avoid over or under-compression, it is proposed for the easiest possible adaptation of the currently effective internal volume ratio as so-called iV value in the displacer that the compressor housing starting from the outlet side with rotor profile length L.sub.R over a length L.sub.iV comprises planar, i.e. flat iV disks (3.sub.j) with the index j for 1≤j≤n; n is the number of disks; n≥1 with a width b.sub.j per iV disk having planar surfaces P.sub.F preferably perpendicular to the neutral axis A.sub.N. The iV disks are displaced in a targeted manner individually by movement control devices (5.sub.j) per iV disk in each case by a distance s.sub.i where 0<s.sub.i≤s.sub.j.
