Pump sleeve for integrated drive generator
A pump sleeve for an inversion pump in an integrated drive generator has a pump sleeve body extending between a first end and a second end, the first end being at a location adjacent an enlarged endplate. The body extends to the second end with a generally cylindrical body portion having a bore of an inner diameter from the first end to the second end, and between the first and second ends for a distance. A ratio of the first distance to the inner diameter being is 1.8 and 2.0. In addition, an integrated drive generator is disclosed as is a method of replacing an accessory drive gear in an integrated drive generator.
METHOD AND APPARATUS RELATED TO SERVICING OF LIQUID RING PUMPS
A method for decoupling a liquid ring pump component from a liquid ring pump for facilitating maintenance services, the liquid ring pump comprising a housing defining an annular chamber and a shaft passing into the chamber, the component being disposed around the shaft and coupled between the shaft and the housing, the method comprising: coupling, using a first fixing member, a first end of the shaft to the housing thereby to prevent or oppose movement of the shaft relative to the housing in at least a radial direction; and, thereafter, sliding the component along the shaft in a direction along the shaft from the housing towards the first end of the shaft, thereby spacing apart the housing and the component.
HYDRAULIC MOTOR SUBASSEMBLY KIT WITH CARRIER
A carrier for a motor subassembly of a hydraulic motor is provided that enables multiple components of the motor subassembly to be temporarily bundled into a compact and easy-to-transport motor subassembly kit. The carrier is a non-hydraulically-functioning member that is configured to have one or more features that mimic a corresponding one or more features of a hydraulically-functioning motor housing to which motor subassembly is intended to be coupled for forming the hydraulic motor. The carrier may have a body with a recessed portion that is configured to receive and/or enclose one or more components of the motor subassembly, and which may cooperate with the one or more motor subassembly components to temporarily secure and bundle the motor subassembly as a compact kit, thereby facilitating transportation and handling of the subassembly components.
Water Pump For Marine Engine Having Removable Cap Assembly
A water pump for a marine engine includes a drive flange for rotating a drive shaft, a housing having an internal cavity and a removable cap assembly. The removable cap assembly includes a cap lock ring secured to the housing, a cartridge extending into the internal cavity of the housing and an impeller rotatable inside the cartridge. The cap lock ring and cartridge are snap-fit together. The rotatable drive shaft has splines, which mate with a splined portion of an impeller to rotate the impeller. To replace the impeller, an operator twists the cap lock ring off the housing without any tools and pulls the cap assembly away from the housing disengaging the impeller from the drive shaft. A new cap assembly replaces the worn cap assembly.
PENDULUM OIL PUMP
A pendulum pump includes a housing, a cover positioned on the housing and forming a cavity therebetween, an inner rotor and an outer rotor positioned within the cavity, wherein the inner rotor is connected via a plurality of pendulums to the outer rotor, and the pendulums are mounted to the outer rotor in an articulated manner such that a rotational eccentricity can be imparted between the inner rotor and the outer rotor to control a flow rate of the pendulum pump, and a protective plate positioned within the cavity and against a surface of one of the housing and the cover.
Oil-lubricated slide vane rotary vacuum pump with oil separating and reconditioning device
An oil-lubricated slide vane rotary vacuum pump with a slide vane unit, and with an oil separating and reconditioning device, wherein oil and gas are separated by separating devices, possibly complemented by oil coolers and/or oil pumps. One or more monitoring and/or servicing devices are provided, and the oil separating and reconditioning device is installed in an oil separating and reconditioning housing. Side walls extend transversely to a plane of rotation of a slide vane rotor, and define a longitudinal extent of the oil separating and reconditioning housing. The one or more monitoring and/or servicing devices are arranged only in one or more cover parts which are attached to one or both end walls of the oil separating and reconditioning housing. The oil separating and reconditioning housing is formed with the side walls, the bottom wall and the top wall without being configured for a monitoring and/or servicing device.
Oil-flooded screw compressor system and method for modifying the same
An oil-flooded screw compressor system includes: a first lubricating oil supply system for supplying lubricating oil to screw parts; and a second lubricating oil supply system for supplying the lubricating oil to a bearing. The first lubricating oil supply system includes: a gas-liquid separator; a first supply flow passage; and a first supply path. The second lubricating oil supply system includes: a lubricating oil reservoir; a second supply flow passage; a second supply path; a first discharge flow passage; and a discharge path. It is possible to suppress dissolution of a gas to be compressed in lubricating oil and to suppress damage to a bearing due to deterioration of the performance of the lubricating oil, even in a case where the gas to be compressed is compatible with the lubricating oil.
Water pump for marine engine having tool for replacing impeller
A water pump for a marine engine includes a cap covering an internal cavity of the pump's housing when the pump is operating. The cap functions as a tool to remove a damaged or worn impeller from inside the internal cavity. A threaded hub of the cap engages internal threads of the impeller to assist a user in removing the impeller for replacement. A cap lock ring threaded onto the pump housing retains the cap over the internal cavity. A rotatable drive shaft has splines which mate with a splined portion of the impeller to rotate the impeller. The cap lock ring is disengaged from the housing and the cap removed to enable a person to use the threaded hub of the cap to remove the impeller.
Component-replaceable water ring vacuum pump
Disclosed is a component-replaceable water ring vacuum pump in which inner components within a head unit may be disassembled and replaced without separation of the head unit from a main body, thus shortening an operation time and improving operation efficiency through prevention of leakage of an inner liquid during a replacement process. The water ring vacuum pump includes a main body provided with a shaft, a rotor rotated together with the shaft within the main body, a head unit coupled to both sides of the main body, a guide bearing provided within the head unit, and a mechanical seal configured to block inner gas. A bearing bracket to support the guide bearing is detachably fastened to one side of the head unit by a bolt, and an inner cap and an outer cap are assembled to the inner and outer surfaces of the bearing bracket by fixing bolts.
Method and kit for gerotor repair
An improved repair method and repair kit for gerotor pumps that have become damaged or worn via insertion of a wear plate to directly contact the gerotor and engine casing in order to allow the pump to create a sound seal once more.
