NEEDLE TIP FOR APPLICATION OF CURRENT, HAND PIECE, AND SKIN TREATMENT APPARATUS
The inventive concept relates to a needle tip for application of current, a hand piece, and a skin treatment apparatus that are equipped with a needle in which an electromagnetically-energized active region is formed as a partial region other than a tip end of the needle is exposed in a non-insulated state.
FLEXIBLE TRANSCUTANEOUS NERVE STIMULATION DEVICE
The present disclosure is directed to a flexible transcutaneous nerve stimulation device for reducing urinary urgency. The devices described herein are designed to enable proper placement by a user to stimulate the user's tibial nerve, while maintaining user comfort and device functionality during wear.
Methods and Systems for Optimizing Placement of a Nerve Stimulation Device
Methods and devices for positioning a nerve stimulation device on a subject are provided. Aspects are directed to methods of positioning a stimulation device on an anatomic target of a subject comprising positioning an alignment guide adjacent to at least a first alignment point associated with the anatomic target on the subject, wherein the alignment guide indicates a first target location on the anatomic target of the subject, and positioning the stimulation device at the first target location.
WRISTBAND NERVE STIMULATOR APPLICABLE TO BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT HANDS AND USE METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a wristband nerve stimulator applicable to both the left and right hands and a use method thereof. The wristband nerve stimulator includes a fixed main unit and an electrode piece band; a groove and an adapter port are respectively arranged on two sides of a bottom of the fixed main unit; a controller is arranged in the fixed main unit; the controller includes a main control unit (MCU), an intelligent identification unit, a storage unit and a stimulation unit; the electrode piece band comprises a base and an electrode assembly; adapter seats are arranged on two sides of a top surface of the base; a memory IC is arranged in the base; the memory IC is provided with an independent identification ID and can record the number of use or the service life of the electrode piece band.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR UNATTENDED TREATMENT OF A PATIENT
An unattended approach can increase the reproducibility and safety of the treatment as the chance of over/under treating of a certain area is significantly decreased. On the other hand, unattended treatment of uneven or rugged areas can be challenging in terms of maintaining proper distance or contact with the treated tissue, mostly on areas which tend to differ from patient to patient (e.g. facial area). Delivering energy via a system of active elements embedded in a flexible pad adhesively attached to the skin offers a possible solution. The unattended approach may include delivering of multiple energies to enhance a visual appearance.
Earplug assembly for iontophoresis system
An apparatus includes a rigid body, a flexible sealing element, a nozzle assembly, and an electrode. The rigid body defines a channel, a reservoir, and a vent path. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the channel. The vent path is in fluid communication with the reservoir. The reservoir is configured to provide spacing between the channel and the vent path. The sealing element is positioned distal to the rigid body. The nozzle assembly includes a nozzle head and a post. The post extends distally through the channel of the rigid body. The nozzle head projects distally from a distal end of the post. The electrode is disposed within the channel of the rigid body. The reservoir extends laterally from a longitudinal axis defined by the electrode.
Downloading and booting method and system for a wearable medical device
A wearable medical monitoring device includes a plurality of ECG electrodes configured to receive an ECG signal when the wearable medical monitoring device is worn by a patient, and a monitor coupled to the plurality of ECG electrodes. The monitor is configured to detect an impending cardiac event based on the received ECG signal of the patient. The device includes at least one processor configured to execute a plurality of instructions to implement an update manager configured to receive a software update corresponding to the at least one software module for the monitor, determine an event estimation of risk score for a predetermined period of time, cause an installation of the update when the event estimation of risk score indicates a low likelihood of an impending cardiac event, and cause a delay in the installation when the event estimation of risk score indicates a high likelihood of impending cardiac event.
Hydrogel
A hydrogel 1 having a laminate structure of layer A 10 and layer B 20, wherein layer A 10 contains a monomer-derived component, water, a humectant, a water-insoluble polymer having tackiness and an amphiphilic polymer, the water-insoluble polymer is contained in a proportion of 3 to 20 wt % based on a total amount of layer A, and the amphiphilic polymer is a polyvinyl alcohol having a saponification degree of 50 to 75% and is contained in a proportion of 0.05 to 5 wt % based on the total amount of layer A; layer B 20 contains a monomer-derived component, water and a humectant and is substantially free of a water-insoluble polymer having tackiness and a polyvinyl alcohol; and an amount of the water based on a total amount of layer B is the amount of water based on the total amount of layer A±10 wt %.
BAND FOR WEARABLE NEUROSTIMULATION SYSTEM
A band to be worn by a user and for securing an enclosure of a wearable neurostimulation device that stimulates one or more peripheral nerves of a user is provided. The band may include a flexible platform that bends from a first shape to a second shape. The band may include a plurality of lugs that have an engagement structure configured to mechanically engage with the enclosure when the flexible platform is in the first shape and disengage from the enclosure when the flexible platform is in the second shape. The band can further include an electrode system that has an inner side and an outer side. The inner side having at least one electrode for each nerve to be stimulated.
SWITCHED CAPACITOR-BASED ELECTRICAL STIMULATION DEVICE AND METHOD
Provided is a switched capacitor-based electrical stimulation device which supplies a direct current (DC) power, detects a charging voltage charged in any one of a plurality of capacitors, controls the DC power supplied to a capacitor module to repeat a charging level and a resting level according to a charging pattern when the charging voltage is lower than a target voltage, and outputs an electric current to electrodes which contact a human body based on an output pattern.
