Apparatus that mixes non-homogenous fluid. A threaded shaft within a housing circulates fluid within a container to effect mixing. In one embodiment, when placed in a container of fluid, the housing the fluid is recirculated through opposing ends of the housing. In an embodiment of a related method for mixing, a pump housing containing a screw journaled for rotation receives fluid within a container and conveys the fluid therethrough to circulate a fluid portion in the container along an exterior surface of the housing for mixing with another fluid portion to improve fluid homogeneity. After mixing, the portion of the fluid which first circulates through the housing may recirculate through the housing with said another portion of the fluid. The fluid may be continuously mixed and recirculated through the housing.

The fluid supply device comprises a screw, which has a male thread formed thereon and rotates, and a nut, which has a female thread formed therein that meshes with the male threading and which, by the screw rotating in a first direction, i.e., the circumferential direction, moves towards a first end in the rotation axis direction, and which, by moving with said movement a piston that forms a reservoir chamber, discharges a fluid stored in the reservoir chamber, wherein, if the fluid is discharged and if the screw is not rotating, first surfaces which form the threading of the male screw and second surfaces which form the threading of the female screw are in contact with each other, and second surfaces which form the threading of the male screw and first surfaces which form the threading of the female screw are not in contact with each other.

INLINE, ONE MOVING PART PUMP FOR ISOLATED FLUID CHANNELS
20220196027 · 2022-06-23 ·

A pump assembly can pump fluid with a single moving part, where the single moving part is free floating, inline within a sealed fluid path. The pump includes a stator core having a cylindrical shape with an opening through it. The stator includes electromagnetic coils arranged around a lateral surface of the stator core extending away from the center of the stator core. The pump assembly includes an impeller to spin within the cylindrical opening of the stator in response to selective charging of the electromagnetic coils. The impeller includes a cylindrical body having blades that align with the electromagnetic coils to create a magnetic flux path between selected coils through the impeller in response to selective charging of the electromagnetic coils.

Catheter device

The catheter device comprises a drive shaft connected to a motor, and a rotor mounted on the drive shaft at the distal end section. The rotor has a frame structure which is formed by a screw-like boundary frame and rotor struts extending radially inwards from the boundary frame. The rotor struts are fastened to the drive shaft by their ends opposite the boundary frame. Between the boundary frame and the drive shaft extends an elastic covering. The frame structure is made of an elastic material such that, after forced compression, the rotor unfolds automatically.

Improvements to a helical fan/pump/propeeler/trubine

The present invention relates to improving the efficiency of a helical fan/pump/propeller/turbine such as is described in PCT/NZ2018/050010. Further to the discovery that specific longitudinal limits are critical to define the first opening in relation to the helical fan/pump/propeller/turbine, it was found that certain lateral limits are also critical. Thus the configuration of the first opening and the helical blade cooperate according to both longitudinal and lateral limits to improve results. This was found to be the case in many applications whether the rotor is mechanically rotated or rotated by an external energy such as wind. In fact, common features such as this can enable the invention to switch between applications in some cases. The present invention also relates to a second opening longitudinally offset from the intake opening and an elongate stator extending from the rotor that is shaped according to the desired flow path

A top side-less pump system for managing multiphase fluid includes a pump subsystem having a suction and a discharge. A first gas liquid extraction unit has a multiphase fluid inlet and a liquid outlet. The liquid outlet is coupled to the suction for providing a liquid rich fluid to the bearing lubrications. An ejector is coupled to a gas outlet of the main gas liquid extraction unit to receive a gas rich fluid. A second gas liquid extraction unit is coupled to an outlet of the ejector. A water based lubrication liquid unit is coupled to the inlets of the pump and, after being energized at higher pressure, injected into the bearings through built in lubrication and cooling passages.

Rotor for a pump, produced with a first elastic material

A rotor for a pump has a housing and a rotor, and has at least one blade. The rotor is able to be actuated to rotate about an axis of rotation in order to convey a fluid in the axial or radial direction, and the rotor is able to be deformed in the radial direction between a first, radially compressed state and a second, radially expanded state. At a maximum speed of rotation of the rotor at which the power of the pump is at a maximum, the blade is essentially radially oriented, and/or the rotor has its maximum diameter.
