A fallback prevention valve apparatus, system and method is described. An electric submersible pump (ESP) fallback prevention system includes an ESP assembly positioned in a downhole well, the ESP assembly including production tubing extending between a centrifugal pump and a surface of the downhole well such that during operation of the ESP assembly production fluid flows upward from the centrifugal pump through the production tubing to the surface, the production tubing including a fallback valve actuatable by the flow of production fluid, the fallback valve actuatable between an open position, wherein production fluid flowing upward through the fallback valve actuates the fallback valve into the open position, and a closed position, wherein production fluid flowing downward through the fallback valve actuates the fallback valve into the closed position, the closed position blocking sand carried by the production fluid from falling into the centrifugal pump.

Described is a blower system. The blower system includes one or more blowers. Each blower has an intake for providing air into an air chamber which houses an impeller. A gate covers each intake. Each gate is movable between a closed position in which it is pulled against the intake and an open position in which the gate is lifted off of the intake. A controller system is included that is operable for causing the gates to move from the closed to the open position when a vehicle is present or approaching and cause the gates to return to the closed position when no vehicle is present or leaving.

The control curve can include: a) a first setpoint of rated total value of the system load for the pressure and the flow, b) a second setpoint of a minimum partial percentage of the rated total value of the pressure at an over-percentage of the rated total value of the flow, c) a path which maintains the rated total value of the pressure for all values of the flow up to the first setpoint, d) a path between the first setpoint and the second setpoint, e) a path from the second setpoint which limits values of the pressure for values of the flow greater than the second setpoint.

Dual pump system

A pump system includes dual centrifugal pumps mounted on a fabricated skid. Both pumps are belt driven by one motor. The pumps are piped with three two-way valves and crossover piping configured such that the pumps can be operated in either series or parallel flow using a single inlet and outlet for the system.

Centrifugal pump

A centrifugal pump (7), with one or more pumping stages, includes a pressure controlled valve (15) inside the pump (7) for supporting self-priming, the pressure controlled valve (15). The pressure controlled valve (15) includes a pretensioned leaf spring (17) and a valve seat (18). The leaf spring (17) has an opened position and a closed position. In the open position the leaf spring (17) is distanced from the valve seat (18). In the closed position the leaf spring (17) closes the valve seat (18). The leaf spring (17) and valve seat (18) are arranged for soft closing.

The technology relates to a submersible water lifting assembly and automatic fire fighting system for unmanned platforms having said system (1) that is efficient yet simple to install, energy saving, noise free and economical. The present submersible water lifting assembly can comprise a High Pressure Recovery Turbine Pump (7/7A) that utilizes under water arrangements of an unmanned platform and enables the fire-fighting system to efficiently lift water from the sea water; using the force of an existing water injection system; eliminating the requirement of diesel engine driven pump, for the lifting the water. It avoids fire risk on the safety system itself, even under the conditions of a large fire, unlike that of the prior art.
