DIRECT NUMERIC AFFINITY MULTISTAGE PUMPS SENSORLESS CONVERTER
Apparatus, including a pump system controller, features a signal processor or processing module configured at least to: receive signaling containing information about pump differential pressure, flow rate and corresponding power data at motor maximum speed published by pump manufacturers, as well as instant motor power and speed, for a system of pumps arranged in a multiple pump configuration; and determine corresponding signaling containing information about instant pump differential pressure and flow rate for the system of pumps arranged in the multiple pump configuration using a combined affinity equation and numerical interpolation algorithm, based upon the signaling received.
Coolant pump with plastic bonded magnet
A coolant pump includes a pump frame, a driving wheel driven by an engine, a pump wheel driven by the driving wheel, and a clutch which couples the driving wheel with the pump wheel. The clutch comprises a friction surface arranged at the driving wheel, and a clutch disc which corresponds to the friction surface. The clutch disk is connected with and co-rotates with the pump wheel, and is axially shiftable between an engaged and a disengaged position. An axial pretension spring pretensions the clutch disc into the disengaged position. A permanent magnet forces the clutch disc into the engaged position. An electromagnet, when energized, generates a polarization which is opposite to a polarization of the permanent magnet to reduce a total magnetic attraction force of the permanent magnet with respect to the clutch disc and to thereby push the clutch disc into the disengaged position via the pretension spring.

A fume extraction apparatus (1) comprising an extraction pump, and the apparatus comprises a first interface (12) for connection to a process equipment, and a second interface (10) for connection to a system controller, wherein the apparatus comprises an intraconnection (15) to enable signals to be communicated between the first interface and the second interface.
Submersible pump with barrier fluid isolation of motor lubricating liquid from pumped product
An electrical submersible pump (ESP) isolates its motor lubricant from pumped product without requiring a bellows, diaphragm, bladder, or external lubricant pressurizing system. A pair of nested isolation chambers below the motor housing are filled with a barrier fluid that is non-reactive, non-miscible, and higher in density than the pumped product and the motor lubricant. As the motor lubricant expands and contracts after pump start-up and shut-down, motor lubricant and barrier fluid are exchanged between the motor housing and the isolation chambers via three interconnections, while pumped product is exchanged with the inner barrier chamber, while being isolated from the motor housing. The interconnections extend between the bottom of the motor housing and the bottom of the outer barrier chamber, between the top of the outer barrier chamber and the bottom of the inner barrier chamber, and between the top of the inner barrier chamber and the pumped product.
PUMP DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE CONCENTRATION OF A SUBSTANCE INSIDE A LIQUID
A pump device has at least one chamber (22) or conduit containing or provided for containing a liquid, a concentration sensor (24) arranged in the chamber (22) or conduit for detecting a concentration of a substance in the liquid and an evaluation unit (28) connected to the sensor (24). The sensor (24) and the evaluation unit (28) are configured for an electrical impedance measurement. The evaluation unit (28) is configured such that a measurement for detecting the concentration is carried out by use of an electrical signal applied to the sensor (24) having at least one frequency corresponding to or above an upper cut-off frequency (f.sub.2) of a frequency range showing a constant electrical impedance (R.sub.m). A method is provided for determining the concentration of a substance inside a liquid.
FLUID LEVEL SENSOR-ATTACHED MOTOR PUMP FOR WASHER FLUID
The present invention relates to a fluid level sensor-attached motor pump for a washer fluid, in which a fluid level sensor for detecting the remaining amount of a washer fluid stored in a washer fluid reservoir and outputting a detection signal is integrally mounted to a motor pump for a washer fluid so that an operator can check the remaining amount of the washer fluid through a dashboard of a vehicle and thus can replenish an insufficient washer fluid, in which the fluid level sensor is integrally mounted to the motor pump for a washer fluid to solve a problem in that the motor pump and the fluid level sensor are separately wiring-connected to the washer fluid reservoir to thereby deteriorate workability of wiring so that workability of wiring can be increased and the wiring can be simplified to reduce a defective proportion, in which the motor pump for a washer fluid and the fluid level sensor are integrally manufactured so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced, and in which the fluid level sensor for detecting the remaining amount of a washer fluid and outputting a detection signal is manufactured by selecting any one of a combination of a magnet and a Hall sensor, a combination of a magnet and a reed switch, and a combination of a Hall sensor and a buoyancy device mounted with a magnet so that the improvement in performance can be achieved through the use of a magnetic Hall sensor having reliability.
