PORTABLE FAN
The present invention is directed to a portable fan for the use in firefighting and other ventilation use-cases. The portable fan provides firefighters the ability to provide positive pressure ventilation in use for fighting fires which does not require power cables or combustible fuel powered motors, and provides increased portability, reduced risk, and reduced deployment time associated with managing and fighting a fire.
ODOR DELIVERY DEVICE
In certain embodiments, an odor delivery device for a VR/AR system has independently controllable micropumps and dedicated tubing for each micropump that dispenses pumped air from the device. The tubings can receive scented material such that, when air is pumped by the corresponding micropump through a tubing, scented air flow is dispensed by the tubing from the device. When multiple tubings have multiple differently scented materials, corresponding differently scented air flows concurrently dispensed by the tubings are mixed together only outside the device. In one implementation, a pump unit has the micropumps and tubing for each micropump and a cartridge unit having tubing for each micropump in the pump unit, can be removably mated to the pump unit. When the cartridge unit is mated to the pump unit, each tubing in the cartridge unit mates with corresponding tubing in the pump unit.
TURBOCHARGER
A turbocharger includes a turbine housing that is a cast component, a turbine scroll passage, a discharge port, and a discharge port defining member. The turbine scroll passage surrounds the circumference of a turbine chamber defined in the turbine housing and the circumference of the turbine chamber. Exhaust gas that has passed through the turbine chamber is conducted to the discharge port. The discharge port defining member constitutes a wall surface of the discharge port. The discharge port defining member includes a tubular main body wall and an outer circumferential edge. The main body wall constitutes a wall surface of the discharge port. The outer circumferential edge extends from the distal end of the main body wall and outward in the radial direction of the impeller shaft. The outer circumferential edge is fixed between the turbine housing and a downstream exhaust pipe, which is connected to the discharge port.
Load bearing direct drive fan system with variable process control
The present invention is directed to a load bearing direct-drive system for driving a fan in a cooling system such as a wet-cooling tower, air-cooled heat exchanger, HVAC system, hybrid cooling tower, mechanical tower or chiller system. The present invention includes a variable process control system that is based on the integration of key features and characteristics such as tower thermal performance, fan speed and airflow, motor torque, fan pitch, fan speed, fan aerodynamic properties, and pump flow. The variable process control system processes feedback signals from multiple locations in order to control a high torque, low variable speed, load bearing motor to drive the fan.
Fan lamp with directional light and floodlight and retractable blade assembly
The present disclosure discloses a fan lamp, relates to the technical field of lighting lamp. The fan lamp includes a ceiling suction assembly, a hanger rod, a blade assembly, a light source assembly, and a driver, the ceiling suction assembly is connected with the blade assembly through the hanger rod, the light source assembly is connected with the blade assembly, and the light source assembly is located on a side of the blade assembly facing away from the ceiling suction assembly, the driver is mounted in the ceiling suction assembly or the light source assembly, and the driver is electrically connected with at least one of the blade assembly and the light source assembly, the light source assembly includes a chassis and a directional lighting module, and the directional lighting module is mounted on the chassis.
Water heater blower housing, impeller, and static tap system
A blower has a blower housing of clamshell construction, including two housing members having a scroll back wall molded with radial draft, an impeller and a motor within the housing, and a static tap connected to the housing. The impeller has a backplate with a backplate back surface region of substantially the same radially converging shape as that of a front surface region of the scroll back wall formed by the radial draft, providing a substantially uniform axial gap between the backplate back surface region and the scroll back wall. The impeller has a ring connected by a skirt to the back plate to define a stepped area behind the ring. The impeller includes impeller blades extending forwardly from the impeller backplate and the ring and back fins extending rearwardly from the ring. The blower has a scroll width of about twice an impeller exhaust width.
ELECTROMECHANICAL ACTUATORS FOR REFRIGERANT FLOW CONTROL
An actuator assembly includes a first actuator, a second actuator, and a moving piece that is disposed between the first actuator and the second actuator. The moving piece is positionable to close a gap in the compressor.
Systems and methods for electromagnetic shielding of rotating components
An EMI attenuation device includes a housing stator, a fan rotor, and an electrical bridge therebetween. The housing stator has an aperture therethrough, and at least a portion of the housing stator is electrically conductive. The fan rotor is adjacent to the aperture and has a rotational axis relative to the housing stator and a proximate surface proximate the housing stator. The fan rotor is electrically conductive, and the proximate surface is continuous around a rotational direction of the fan rotor. The electrical bridge is between the proximate surface of the fan rotor and a contact surface of the housing stator.
Blade sox
A system for converting a ceiling fan having blades into an air cleaning and air freshening device which fit snugly over the blades of a ceiling fan, their shape conforming to that of the blade structured and arranged to disperse a fresh and pleasing scent into a room with the fan in motion, and attract and capture dust and other allergens, while facilitating the cleaning of the fan blades when removed.
Control circuit for motor powered by storage battery and fan
A control circuit including a motor drive unit and a processing control unit is provided. The motor drive unit includes a drive current for a motor according to a modulation signal, and the motor is powered by a storage battery. The processing control unit obtains an actual speed of the motor, calculate the modulation signal by comparing the actual speed and a target speed, and transmit the modulation signal to the motor drive unit. Also, the modulation signal is used to control rotation of the motor by modulating the drive current, so that the actual speed tends to be equal to the target speed.
