Device for sealing and evacuating a container containing a paste-like liquid
11001492 · 2021-05-11 ·

A follower plate device for sealing and evacuating a container that has a cylindrical inner contour and contains a particularly paste-like liquid. The device comprises a seal arranged on a periphery of the device and designed so as to be able to be inserted into the cylindrical inner contour of the container such that it seals around the periphery, and marking the boundary between an outer side of the device and an inner side of the device, and a line extending through from the inner side to the outer side of the follower plate device, arranged on the outer side for connecting to a line connection leading further to an evacuation pump. The follower plate device further comprises a replaceable open-pored porous component through which the line is guided.

PUMPING DEVICE

A pumping device has a container, an inlet pipe, a float barrel, and a discharging pipe. The container has a box containing water and a first gas, and a pressure gauge and a check valve mounted to the box. The inlet pipe connects to a water supply and has a second section erectly disposed within the box and communicating with an inside of the box. The float barrel is disposed within the box, contains a second gas, and has an opening. The second section is mounted through the opening. The discharging pipe has two opposite ends respectively communicating with a water reservoir and the inside of the box. The first gas has a pressure larger than 1 atm. The second gas has a pressure less than 1 atm. Water enters the float barrel. A water level inside the float barrel is higher than a water level inside the box.

Suction pumps

A liquid suction pump comprising: a drive pipe to receive a liquid drive flow for the pump; a liquid conduit with first and second liquid delivery arms to provide pumped liquid, and a connecting valve arrangement between the arms. First and second pump inlets to the arms have respective first and second one-way inlet valves. The valve arrangement has a valve inlet coupled to the drive pipe and valve outlets coupled to the arms to alternately close off a liquid connection between the valve inlet and respective arms. A compliant element is coupled to the drive pipe. The drive flow oscillates in pressure/flow rate due to alternate switching of the valves. A compliance of the compliant element is such that a geometry of the suction pump in combination with the compliance defines a resonant condition, and the oscillation is at a resonant frequency of the pump.

Pumping apparatus, treatment solution supplying device, substrate treating apparatus, liquid draining method, and liquid replacing method

A chamber has at least three openings, or a first opening, a second opening, and a third opening formed therein that are in communication with a reservoir. The second opening is higher in level than the first opening. The third opening is used for discharging a liquid within the reservoir by introducing gas through at least one of the first opening and the second opening into the reservoir. Since the third opening is the lowest in level among the three openings, the liquid stored in the reservoir is able to be drained easily.

A blow case with an inlet pipe positioned to gravity direct debris to an outlet pipe. The inlet pipe having a discharge end sealed by gravity open clapper style check valve that is closed by activation of pneumatic pressure through a float style pneumatic valve. The check valve has a top mounted access port and aperture allowing for direct above ground servicing access to both the clapper inside the valve and has a removable clapper and access port for servicing the outlet pipe. The float style pneumatic valve is also top mounted for ease of service and removal and is remotely positioned from the outlet pipe to allow for removal of the valve for flushing of the debris from the blow case.

PRESSURE REGULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FLUIDIC PRODUCT HAVING PARTICLES

A method of maintaining a backpressure of a fluidic product is provided. The method includes pressurizing a first reservoir to a first predetermined pressure level using compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized first reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the first reservoir reaches a first predetermined level, pressurizing a second reservoir to a second predetermined pressure level using the compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized second reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the second reservoir reaches a second predetermined level, and controlling the backpressure of the fluidic product using the first reservoir and the second reservoir such that a discharge flow of the fluidic product is continuous.

Dispensing system

The present invention provides a dispensing system comprising a self-gassing liquid to be dispensed and a dispenser for dispensing the self-gassing liquid, the dispenser including: a valve housing having an inlet for receiving the liquid and an outlet through which the liquid is to be dispensed; a valve chamber and/or passage extending between the inlet and the outlet, and a valve arranged to open and close the valve chamber and/or passage; pressure maintaining means arranged to maintain the pressure of liquid at the inlet to the valve housing at a constant pressure during successive dispensing operations; and control means for controlling the opening and closing of the valve, the control means being arranged to open and close the valve to commence and terminate each successive dispensing operation, wherein the period for which the valve is open determines the quantity of liquid dispensed. The dispensing system may permit very small quantities of liquid to be dispensed with great accuracy and avoid the liquid being subjected to high shear forces. The system is particularly beneficial for the dispensing of peracetic acid.
