DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING HEAT AND INFRARED ENERGY, WITH DYNAMIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL AND UNIFORM HEAT DISTRIBUTION
The present invention refers to a device to transfer heat and infrared energy with dynamic temperature control and homogeneous heat distribution that places one or more applicator modules on an affected area, later with a control module you can resort to a predefined therapy according to the affected area and some personal data of the patient, or to a therapy provided by the therapist, or even to set a temperature at which the device will heat up; the invention also refers to the manufacturing process of said device. The user can define the time interval that the therapy will last. Alternatively, the user may use a mobile application to control, monitor and personalize therapies, which he or his therapist may define from the mobile application or from a web application, where said pair of applications will be connected to a web API for data synchronization.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR USING PULSED RADIOFREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD STIMULATION TO REDUCE INFLAMMATION
Methods and devices for reducing inflammation, reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines molecules and increasing anti-inflammatory signaling molecules in a mammal is provided. In at least one embodiment, a device comprising, a power supply; an amplifier; an antenna and a waveform generator is provided and the one or more signals have an aperiodic continuous waveform function or an aperiodic pulse train that reduce inflammation, reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines molecules and/or increases anti-inflammatory signaling molecules in a mammal.
Capsule with whole body LED photo-therapy
A personal therapy compartment includes a base of size to receive a human patient. The compartment includes a bed in the base said bed being made of a light transmissive material. An array of lights mounted is below the bed to transmit light onto a body supported on the bed. A control panel controls at least the wavelength, intensity and pulsation of the light.
Photobiomodulation therapy to reduce the effects of fibromyalgia
Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT) can be applied to a tender area on a subject's body to treat fibromyalgia. A light source device can be contacted to a subject's skin proximal to a tender area on the subject's body. A light signal (with wavelengths from the red to infrared part of the spectrum) can be applied in at least one of a pulsed operating mode, a continuous operating mode, and a super-pulsed operating mode through the light source device to the tender area. The light signal is applied for a time sufficient to stimulate a phototherapeutic response in the tender area to treat fibromyalgia.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR THE TREATMENT OF EYE CONDITIONS
Systems, methods, and devices used to treat eyelids, meibomian glands, ducts, and surrounding tissue are described herein. In some embodiments, an eye treatment device is disclosed, which includes a scleral shield positionable proximate an inner surface of an eyelid, the scleral shield being made of, or coated with, an energy-absorbing material activated by a light energy, and an energy transducer positionable outside of the eyelid, the energy transducer configured to provide light energy at one or more wavelengths, including a first wavelength selected to heat the energy-absorbing material. Wherein, when the eyelid is positioned between the energy transducer and the scleral shield, the light energy from the energy transducer and the heated energy-absorbing material of the scleral shield conductively heats a target tissue region sufficiently to melt meibum within meibomian glands located within or adjacent to the target tissue region.
Chair-type phototherapy device
An object of the present invention is to provide a chair-type phototherapy device that enables a patient to perform light irradiation accurately targeted at a treatment site in a seated position on a chair and consequently achieves effective phototherapy even when the treatment site is in the back region that the patient is unable to see, for example, as in light irradiation for dysuria patients and patients with pain, and the patient performs light irradiation by himself/herself at home. The present invention provides a chair-type phototherapy device having a seat on which a patient is seated. The chair-type phototherapy device includes a radiation module configured to emit radiation light toward a living body, a drive module positioned behind the patient for moving the radiation module, and a fixing module fixing the drive module to the seat.
