RADIATION MEASUREMENT PENAL, DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A radiation measurement panel is disclosed. The radiation measurement panel comprising a substrate, a first conductive layer, a sacrificial layer, and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer formed over the substrate. The sacrificial layer formed over the first conductive layer, wherein the dielectric constant of the sacrificial layer changes in accordance with a magnitude of received radiation. The second conductive layer formed over the sacrificial layer, wherein the magnitude of the received radiation corresponds to a capacitance between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer.
Gantry image guided radiotherapy system and related treatment delivery methods
A radiation treatment apparatus, comprising a gantry structure comprising a beam member extending between first and second ends of the gantry structure. The radiation treatment apparatus also includes a radiation treatment head movably mounted to the beam member in a manner that allows (i) translation of the radiation treatment head along the beam member between the first and second ends, and (ii) gimballing of the radiation treatment head relative to the beam member, the gimballing comprising pivotable movement in at least one independent pivot direction defined with respect to the beam member. The radiation treatment apparatus also includes a patient couch operative coupled with the radiation treatment head in manner to provide movement of the patient couch relative to the radiation treatment head.
SIMULATION-BASED DRUG TREATMENT PLANNING
Various approaches for computationally generating a protocol for treatment of one or more target BBB regions within a tissue region of interest using a source of focused ultrasound include specifying (i) settings of sonication parameters for applying one or more sequence of sonications to the target BBB region using the source of focused ultrasound and (ii) a characteristic of microbubbles selected to be administered into the target BBB region; electronically simulating treatment in accordance with the protocol at least in part by computationally executing the sequence(s) of sonications and computationally administering the microbubbles having the characteristic; and computationally predicting a tissue disruption effect of the target BBB region resulting from the treatment.
Particle beam treatment system, particle beam treatment management system and method
According to an embodiment, a particle beam treatment system has: a CT device that is a three-dimensional image acquisition part installed in a treatment room for acquisition of a three-dimensional internal image on a day of treatment; a dose distribution display part that displays a dose distribution in the three-dimensional image acquired on the day of treatment and a dose distribution in treatment plan data designed in advance; a treatment management device that is a selection part to select whether or not to change the treatment plan data based on the dose distribution in the three-dimensional image acquired on the day of treatment and the dose distribution in treatment plan data designed in advance; and an irradiation part that irradiates an affected part with a particle beam according to the treatment plan data based on selection made by the treatment management device.
Projection mapping of radiation suites
A radiation suite includes a room having a floor, a ceiling, and one or more walls, a radiation system including a gantry enclosing a radiation source and a couch, and an image projection system operable to project an image on a projection surface on at least a portion of the gantry and/or the couch, providing a calming environment for a patient to relax. The image projection system comprises a computer and one or more projectors operably controlled by the computer. The computer comprises a mapping software operable to map an image file to the projection surface. The one or more projectors are operable to project the mapped image file on the projection surface.
LINE HANDLING SYSTEM
Systems for guiding line(s) including blocks through which the line(s) run. The blocks can include inner and outer guides with line running through both the inner and outer guides. The guides may include rollers, and an inner guide may be at least partially nested within an outer guide. The systems may be configured so that at least one of the blocks can move when the line moves and so that the first block and second block create tension in the line.
Three-Dimensional Detector for Radiotherapy Verification
A volumetric radiation dose detector provides radiation sensors distributed along a closed surface presenting surface normals that vary over a range of azimuth and altitude angles to provide accurate dose modeling for radiation received at a comparable range of angles. Concentric layers of surfaces provide volumetric dose information that can be used to directly produce useful dose maps and assessments.
Grating device for radiotherapy equipment, control method thereof and radiotherapy equipment
The invention discloses a grating device for radiotherapy equipment. A tail-end position controller and a front-end position controller are simultaneously arranged, and can simultaneously verify a tail-end position and a middle position of each single grating blade and measure the time during which one grating blade arrives at the middle position from the tail-end position and/or the total number of revolutions of a motor at any time. Because the distance between the tail-end position and the middle position is fixed and can be accurately measured, the system can accurately verify the position of one grating blade and control the grating blades to arrive at an accurately specified position; because the grating blades can be conveniently verified and controlled one by one, transmission errors caused by different grating blade driving systems and errors caused by instable performance can be effectively overcome; even verification can be performed before each fitting of a radiation field, and then accurate control can be realized according to the latest measured actual parameters.
