Hydraulic unit

A hydraulic unit, in particular a hydraulic unit for a slip-controllable vehicle brake system, includes a housing block, a pump, and a damping device. The pump has an intake side and a delivery side. The housing block has a pump receptacle that holds the pump, a first fluid duct that intersects the pump receptacle in a region of the delivery side of the pump, and a second fluid duct opening into the pump receptacle in the region of the delivery side of the pump, and a first separation point that seals off the first fluid duct from the second fluid duct. The damping device damps pulsations and reduces operating noise of the hydraulic unit without (i) having a detrimental effect on functional characteristics of the unit, in particular on pressure build-up dynamics of the vehicle brake system, or without (ii) jeopardizing a compact construction of the hydraulic unit.

System for damping mass-induced vibration in machines having hydraulically controlled booms or elongate members
11204048 · 2021-12-21 · ·

A system for damping mass-induced vibrations in a machine having a long boom or elongate member, the movement of which causes mass-induced vibration in such boom or elongate member. The system comprises multiple pressure sensors operable to measure pressure fluctuations in the hydraulic fluid pressures in the non-load holding and load holding chambers of a hydraulic actuator connected to the boom or elongate member that result from mass-induced vibration, and a processing unit operable to control a first control valve spool in a pressure control mode and a second control valve spool in a flow control mode in order to adjust hydraulic fluid flow to the actuator's load holding chamber to dampen the mass-induced vibration. The system further comprises a control manifold fluidically interposed between the actuator and control valve spools that causes the first and second control valve spools to operate, respectively, in pressure and flow control modes.

Control device

A control device, for a hydraulic consumer (22) and susceptible to vibrations, includes a valve (24) having a control spool (40) controllable by an actuating device (46). The valve (24) has a pressure supply port (P), to which a pressure compensator valve can be connected, which can be supplied with pressure fluid from a pressure supply device. The actuating device (46) has a motor (74). A load-pressure-dependent force on the control spool (40) can be generated by a control device (66). That force at the control spool (40) acts on an electronic motor controller (208) of the DC motor (74), which detects a change of the force and acts as a damping of the vibrations of the consumer (22) against this change of force.

Systems and methods for controlling working fluid in hydraulic elevators

A hydraulic elevator may comprise a bidirectional pump that controls up and down motion of an elevator car. A VVVF drive may cause the bidirectional pump to provide working fluid in a controlled manner to a hydraulic jack that supports the elevator car. A control valve may be disposed between the bidirectional pump and the hydraulic jack so that the control valve can be closed when the elevator car needs to be held in place. To avoid pressure waves that propagate when the control valve is opened with disparate pressures on the pump and jack sides of the control valve, the bidirectional pump may adjust the pressure on the pump side of the closed control valve to the pressure on the jack side of the control valve before the control valve is opened.

A dynamic load damping apparatus is employed in a hydraulic steering system control circuit of an aircraft. The dynamic load damping apparatus is positioned in the hydraulic steering system control circuit in parallel with a control valve of the control circuit that functions as the hydraulic fluid source of the control circuit and an actuator that controls movements of a nose gear of the aircraft. The dynamic load damping apparatus dampens loads transmitted to the hydraulic actuator that controls the steering movements of the nose gear on the aircraft.

Method for vibration damping for hydraulic lifting mechanisms of mobile working machines and hydraulic lifting mechanism having vibration damping

There are disclosed a method and a lifting mechanism for actively damping in mobile working machines vibrations which may occur as a result of raised attachments during travel. The method or the lifting mechanism has a prediction or a predictor for estimating the future vibration. The prediction is preferably carried out with a recursive least squares algorithm. The mobile working machine may, for example, be a tractor.

UNLOADING VALVE AND COMBINED VALVE TYPE BUFFER CYLINDER

An unloading valve includes a valve body, a valve trim, a return spring, a damping hole, and an unloading groove. A combined valve includes the unloading valve and a throttling valve. The throttling valve includes a buffer stopper and a buffer chamber. A piston rod assembly of the combined valve type buffer cylinder is provided in a cylinder body. The cylinder body includes a cylinder head flange, a cylinder bottom, and a cylinder barrel. The piston rod assembly includes a guide sleeve, a piston, and a piston rod. The combined valve is provided on the cylinder. The system is located in an unloading state in a buffering process to reduce the energy loss and heat buildup of the system, prevent the pressure impact of buffering on the system, make the system more reliable, and lower the difficulty of the original buffer valve in performance matching, installation and debugging.

Inerters with friction disk assemblies, and aircraft hydraulic systems and aircraft including the same. An inerter comprises an inerter housing containing an inerter fluid, a threaded shaft extending within the inerter housing and fixed relative to the first terminal, and an inerter rod extending at least partially within the inerter housing and fixed relative to the second terminal. The inerter further includes a friction disk assembly that, together with the inerter fluid, is configured to damp a motion of the second terminal relative to the first terminal. The friction disk assembly includes a fixed portion and a rotating portion, and is configured such that rotation of the rotating portion generates a frictional torque that opposes the rotation of the rotating portion. In some examples, the inerter is a component of a hydraulic actuator, an aircraft hydraulic system including the hydraulic actuator, and/or an aircraft including the aircraft hydraulic system.
