TREATMENT FOR LARGE VOLUME BIOLOGICAL TARGETS WITH A HIGH PRESSURE SHOCKWAVE INSTRUMENT
The present invention relates to a device, system and a method for high pressure shockwave treatment of biological tissue having a large treatment zone and in particular to such a device, system and method in which a large biological treatment area in treated in a non-drug, non-surgical treatment protocol utilizing ballistic shockwave generating device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATMENT OF A PATIENT INCLUDING RF AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY
A device for a soft tissue treatment of a patient. The device includes an applicator including at least one electrode, a fastening mechanism to fix the applicator to a body part of a patient, and a control unit including a microprocessor to control the at least one electrode. The at least one electrode may provide a radiofrequency energy and an electric current. The radiofrequency energy may cause a heating of a soft tissue. The electric current may cause a muscle contraction. The body part includes a face or a chin.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR UNATTENDED TREATMENT OF A PATIENT
An unattended approach can increase the reproducibility and safety of the treatment as the chance of over/under treating of a certain area is significantly decreased. On the other hand, unattended treatment of uneven or rugged areas can be challenging in terms of maintaining proper distance or contact with the treated tissue, mostly on areas which tend to differ from patient to patient (e.g. facial area). Delivering energy via a system of active elements embedded in a flexible pad adhesively attached to the skin offers a possible solution. The unattended approach may include delivering of multiple energies to enhance a visual appearance.
Acoustic device for skin treatment and methods of using the same
Methods of treating the skin and in particular removing pigment from a tattoo are provided. In preferred embodiments, a piezoelectric transducer is placed at a plurality of locations above the skin and focused acoustic waves at 7 MHz or more are transmitted into the skin. The focal point of the focused acoustic waves is between 0.1 mm and 5 mm below the surface of the skin. The design of the piezoelectric transducer along with the frequency of operation are carefully chosen to create points of treatment with a desired size and shape. The correct amount of energy is supplied to the points of treatment to produce a lesion of a desired size and shape. The lesions are spaced and located to effect the treatment of the skin.
TISSUE TREATMENT DEVICE
Disclosed embodiments relate to apparatuses and methods for wound treatment with ultrasound. In certain embodiments, therapeutic ultrasound wound treatment apparatus includes a wound dressing configured to be positioned over a wound to provide a substantially fluid impermeable seal over the wound and a transducer to deliver therapeutic ultrasound to tissue. The therapeutic ultrasound wound treatment apparatus may further include a wound contact layer configured to be positioned in contact with the wound, a transmission layer positioned above the wound contact layer, an absorbent layer positioned above the transmission layer and configured to absorb wound fluid, and a backing layer positioned above the absorbent layer and including an orifice. Also disclosed are multiple parameters for the therapeutic ultrasound signal.
Aesthetic method of biological structure treatment by magnetic field
Device and methods for enhancing visual appearance by muscle contracts are provided herein. The device may include a capacitor, a first applicator with a first magnetic field generating coil, a second applicator with a second magnetic field generating coil, a first switch to discharge energy from the capacitor to the first magnetic field generating coil to generate a first time-varying magnetic field, and a second switch to discharge energy from the capacitor to the second magnetic field generating coil to generate a second time-varying magnetic field. The magnetic field generating coils may be spaced apart from the casings to allow cooling media to flow. The time-varying magnetic fields may have a plurality of pulses with biphasic impulses, and when applied to a muscle in a body region, the muscle is contracted. The body region may be a buttock, an abdomen, arms, or thighs.
ULTRASOUND VORTEX ENERGY INJECTION DEVICE
Disclosed is an ultrasound vortex energy injection device configured in such a way as to disperse ultrasound waves without focusing the ultrasound waves with respect to an area coming in contact with a human body, and at the same time, apply a vortex-type stimulus in a circumferential direction of an area getting in contact with the human body with respect to a plurality of piezoelectric elements arranged to be spaced apart from one another in a circumferential direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) of an area opposed to the human body where ultrasound waves are transmitted.
NON-CONTACT ULTRASONIC SKINCARE DEVICE HAVING LED LIGHT IRRADIATION AND MIST SPRAY FUNCTIONS
Disclosed is a non-contact ultrasonic skincare device having LED light irradiation and mist spraying functions. The device includes a dome mask in a form of a hemisphere, wherein one side thereof is partially open, and an inner space is defined by the dome mask; an LED power source installed on an inner ceiling face of the dome mask so as to emit light into the inner space; an ultrasonic oscillator installed on the inner ceiling face of the dome mask so as to generate ultrasonic waves and apply the generated ultrasonic waves into the inner space; a spray nozzle installed on the inner ceiling face of the dome mask so as to spray a cosmetic stored in a storage tank into the inner space in a form of mists as fine particles; and a power supply for supplying power to each of the LED power source, the ultrasonic oscillator, and the spray nozzle; and a controller configured to control an operation of each of the LED power source, the ultrasonic oscillator, and the spray nozzle.
HEAD-WEARABLE DEVICES FOR POSITIONING ULTRASOUND TRANSDUCERS FOR BRAIN STIMULATION
A head-wearable device is configured to hold at least one ultrasound transducer such that it is properly positioned for brain stimulation. Such a head-wearable device can help to ensure that the transducer makes sufficient contact with the user's head to allow for efficient ultrasound coupling. Each device may also ensure that the ultrasound transducer maintains the same orientation and position relative to the head across successive donning and doffing of the device.
