TURNBUCKLE LINKAGE
Turnbuckle linkages are disclosed herein. A turnbuckle linkage includes a hollow rod including an inner portion, a first outer portion, and a second outer portion between the first outer portion and the inner portion, the inner portion including a first thickness, the second outer portion including a second thickness less than the first thickness, and the first outer portion including a conical thickness that varies from the second thickness to a third thickness less than the second thickness, the first outer portion and the second outer portion including first threads, a threadless rod to be partially positioned in the hollow rod, and a conical nut including second threads to engage the first threads, the conical nut to couple the hollow rod and the threadless rod.
Clamp for internally coupling and decoupling two components
A clamp for internally coupling and decoupling two components can include a base fittable within an interior of at least one of two components to be coupled together. The clamp can also include an engagement member movably supported about the base. The engagement member can interface with and engage interior portions of the two components when in a coupled position separated from the interior portions of the two components when in a decoupled position. The clamp can further include a wedge movably supported about the base to facilitate movement of the engagement member between the coupled and the decoupled positions. In addition, the clamp can include a secure and release mechanism operable with the base and the wedge to alternately secure the wedge to maintain the engagement member in the coupled position and release the wedge to facilitate movement of the engagement member to the decoupled position.
Unknown
A device for sterile coupling of a percutaneous surgical instrument to a rotary drive tool (5). The device has a flexible envelope (1) intended to confine the drive tool (5), a connector piece (3) for coupling to the percutaneous surgical instrument via one end and to the drive tool (5) via its other end by passing through the envelope via an opening (12), and also a tubular ring (2) positioned on the inner surface of the envelope (1) in the area of the opening (12) and configured to rigidly connect the envelope (1) to the body of the drive tool (5). The connector piece (3) is configured to be able to pass through the ring and turn freely inside the ring when driven by the rotary drive tool (5). The connector piece (3), the ring and the envelope have means (22, 34, 14) which interact in order to form a leaktight barrier between the inside and the outside of the envelope (1) in the area of the opening (12).
Multi-functional support pole and rotation telescopic control structure thereof
A multi-functional support pole and a rotation telescopic control structure thereof are provided. The multi-functional support pole includes a base, a first rigid tube, a second rigid tube, a third rigid tube, a rotation telescopic control assembly, a vertical rotation folding control assembly, and an apparatus mounting portion to realize the functions of a 360-degree horizontal rotation, an up-down extension, a vertical rotation angle adjustment, and so on. The size of the support pole is reduced after folding. The whole support pole is mainly composed of rigid tubes to improve the structural strength of the support pole and the stability of use.
Adjustable support fittings for a jimmy bar and other elongated structures
Adjustable clamp systems that include friction sleeves and corresponding compression nuts for securing the friction sleeves to an elongated support structure. Each friction sleeve is designed and configured to slidably engage around the exterior of the elongated support structure and includes at least one deformable region that allows the corresponding compression nut to radially compress a portion of the friction sleeve into firm engagement with the support structure so that the friction sleeve firmly grips the support structure. The adjustable clamp systems can be used to secure one or more objects to the elongated support structure.
TRANSFER SYSTEM WITH SACRIFICIAL MECHANICAL LINK
A transfer system includes a first mechanical element including a portion of a one of a support platform and a transfer device; a second mechanical element including a portion of a one of the support platform and the transfer device; and a sacrificial element including a first end, a second end, and a central portion, the second end removably connected to the first mechanical element with a first connecting fastener, and the first end removably connected to the second mechanical element with a second connecting fastener.
CLAMP BOLT AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY
A clamp bolt providing a bolt and two nut, each nut being screwed on an end of the bolt. The clamp bolt further including two washers, mounted around the bolt, and axially positioned between the two nuts.
TENSIONING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR CLAMPING JOINTS
A new system and apparatus for detachably joining a first component to a second component is disclosed, along with a method for detachably joining two components. Embodiments of the present invention include a tensioning apparatus and system for clamping joints. The tensioning apparatus may include a wedge block and a fastening device. The clamping joint may be a tongue and groove joint that is tightened using the tensioning apparatus.
Fish Hook With Collet Chuck
The present invention is a fish hook and chuck combination. Said fish hook having a barbed tip on its distal end leading to a hooked portion. Said hooked portion leading to a substantially shank at a proximal end of said fish hook. Said proximal end removably clasped between at least two collets of a chuck, wherein said at least two collets being separated by evenly spaced longitudinal slits in said chuck. Wherein said proximal end is held between said at least two collets, wherein an axial force for retaining said proximal end within said at least two collets may be enhanced or reduced by varying a width of said slits using a reciprocally moving sleeve, said sleeve encircling an exterior of said at least two collets.
Glueless joining devices for interlocking with hollow shafts
A glueless shaft joining system, apparatus and method are disclosed. A base insertable into the hollow interior of the shaft can include a plurality of flexible fingers separated by a slot defined between each of the adjacent flexible fingers. The interior of the base is hollow and includes a threaded portion adjacent to the distal end that extends inwards in a proximal direction. A set screw can be inserted into the threaded portion of the hollow interior of the base. The set screw includes a threaded head portion and a non-threaded tail portion that diverges as it extends away from the head portion. The tail portion deflects the flexible fingers laterally outwardly as the set screw is advanced in the proximal direction through the base. A component, such as a broad head or arrow nock can be coupled to the insert as desired.
