Energy based fat reduction
Methods for non-invasive fat reduction can include targeting a region of interest below a surface of skin, which contains fat and delivering ultrasound energy to the region of interest. The ultrasound energy generates a thermal lesion with said ultrasound energy on a fat cell. The lesion can create an opening in the surface of the fat cell, which allows the draining of a fluid out of the fat cell and through the opening. In addition, by applying ultrasound energy to fat cells to increase the temperature to between 43 degrees and 49 degrees, cell apoptosis can be realized, thereby resulting in reduction of fat.
Ultrasound probe for treating skin laxity
A probe for ultrasound treatment of skin laxity are provided. Systems and methods can include ultrasound imaging of the region of interest for localization of the treatment area, delivering ultrasound energy at a depth and pattern to achieve the desired therapeutic effects, and/or monitoring the treatment area to assess the results and/or provide feedback. In an embodiment, a treatment system and method can be configured for producing arrays of sub-millimeter and larger zones of thermal ablation to treat the epidermal, superficial dermal, mid-dermal or deep dermal components of tissue.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERFORMING TRANSCRANIAL ULTRASOUND THERAPEUTIC AND IMAGING PROCEDURES
Systems and methods are provided for performing transcranial diagnostic procedures using a transcranial ultrasound transducer array. The array elements are positioned and oriented such that far field regions respectively associated therewith spatially overlap within the brain of a patient. The array elements may be oriented approximately normal to the skull, permitting efficient coupling of ultrasound energy into the brain. The array elements are controlled to generate ultrasound pulses, where the timing of the pulses is controlled, based on registration between the array elements and volumetric image data, such that ultrasound energy is focused at a target within spatially overlapping far fields of the array elements. The transcranial ultrasound transducer array elements may be positioned and oriented relative to the skull such that their respective ultrasound beams are focused within the skull and diverging with the brain.
Reflectance-facilitated ultrasound treatment and monitoring
Apparatus comprising an ultrasound ablation system, which comprises a reflection-facilitation element, configured to be placed at an extramyocardial site of a subject, and to provide an extramyocardial reflective region; and an ultrasound tool, which comprises at least one ultrasound transducer configured to be positioned within a heart chamber of the subject. The ultrasound transducer is configured to ablate myocardial tissue by applying ultrasound energy to the myocardial tissue such that at least a portion of the transmitted energy is reflected by the reflective region onto the myocardial tissue. Other embodiments are also described.
HIGH-INTENSITY FOCUSED ULTRASOUND DEVICE
A high-intensity focused ultrasound is configured such that a disposable separable cartridge is attached to and detached from the ultrasound device, so that a practitioner, i.e. a doctor, can obtain coordinates of a skin tissue of a subject using a scanner of an ultrasonic transducer and locate an accurate procedure point in real time. A procedure can be performed on the accurate procedure point of the skin tissue without repeated procedures.
ULTRASONIC TREATMENT DEVICE WITH LARGE FOCUSED AREA AND ULTRASONIC TREATMENT TIP
An ultrasonic treatment device with a large focused area includes: a housing; and an ultrasonic transducer installed inside the housing. Ultrasonic waves emitted by the ultrasonic transducer being configured to form a plurality of focused area units at one or more focused depths in a focused area, and each of the focused area units including one or more of a focused point, a focused line, a focused plane or a focused volume.
REJUVENATING SKIN BY HEATING TISSUE FOR COSMETIC TREATMENT OF THE FACE AND BODY
Systems and methods for treating skin and subcutaneous tissue with energy such as ultrasound energy are disclosed. In various embodiments, ultrasound energy is applied at a region of interest to affect tissue by cutting, ablating, micro-ablating, coagulating, or otherwise affecting the subcutaneous tissue to conduct numerous procedures that are traditionally done invasively in a non-invasive manner. Lifting sagging tissue on a face, neck, and/or body are described. Treatment with heat is provided in several embodiments.

The ultrasound energy generates a thermal lesion with said ultrasound energy on a fat cell. The lesion can create an opening in the surface of the fat cell, which allows the draining of a fluid out of the fat cell and through the opening. ULTRASONIC THERAPEUTIC SYSTEM, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ULTRASONIC THERAPEUTIC SYSTEM AND ULTRASONIC THERAPEUTIC APPARATUS
Disclosed are an ultrasonic therapeutic system, a control method thereof and an ultrasonic therapeutic apparatus, and relates to the field of ultrasonic therapy. The ultrasonic therapeutic system includes a linear-type handpiece and a point-type handpiece, and the control method includes the following steps: controlling at least one of a linear-type handpiece and a point-type handpiece to apply ultrasonic energy inside a treatment area; the linear-type handpiece is configured to apply multiple focuses of the ultrasonic energy in line at one shot, being capable of discretely moving at a preset interval along a skin surface of the treatment area; and the point-type handpiece is configured to apply one focus of the ultrasonic energy at one shot, being capable of continuously sliding and overlapping for a preset time along the skin surface of the treatment area.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SIMULTANEOUS MULTI-FOCUS ULTRASOUND THERAPY IN MULTIPLE DIMENSIONS
Embodiments of a dermatological cosmetic treatment and/or imaging system and method adapted to alter placement and position of multiple cosmetic treatment zones in tissue from ultrasound beams from a transducer, simultaneous multi-focus therapy at multiple depths, and/or dithering ultrasound beams from a transducer to alter placement and position of multiple cosmetic treatment zones in tissue. The system can include a hand wand, a removable transducer module, and a control module. In some embodiments, the cosmetic treatment system may be used in various cosmetic procedures.
