The assembly comprises a toggle anchor assembly configured to pass through a hole formed through the internal thickness; a washer configured for attachment to the hole adjacent to the first side of the wall structure, the washer comprising an open center configured to receive an extent of the toggle anchor assembly therethrough; an end assembly configured for coupling to an end portion of the toggle anchor assembly and for securing the toggle anchor assembly to the wall structure; and a receiving portion for securement of a strut assembly to the toggle anchor assembly, the strut assembly being coupled to the supported element.
Expansion Screw Structure
An expansion screw structure contains: an anchor for mating with a screw. The anchor includes a first segment and a second segment which have a central axis, and a shank. The anchor further includes a head, an edge of which has a slot. The shank includes a first threaded section, multiple cutouts, a decreasingly conical tip, a second threaded section, a slit, a first support foot, a second support foot. The slit has a first part, a second part, and a third part. The second part has a first raised portion, the second part has a second raised portion, and the third part has a connection section and a thin coupling strap. The thin coupling strap has a first thickness, the connection section has a second thickness, and the first thickness of the coupling strap is of the second thickness of the connection section.
Wall magnet anchor system
A wall magnet anchor system is used to install magnetic anchors in wall material that can be used to magnetically hold an object to the wall, thereby avoiding the need to a conventional hook that is protrudes from the surface of the wall. The anchor can include a helical thread to hold the anchor in the wall. An installation tool includes a cutting features at one end for cutting a hole in a wall to receive an anchor, and an installation feature that engages the anchor an allows a user to drive the anchor, through rotation, into the hole cut by the cutting features.
Anchor for hollow walls
An anchor (910) for mounting to a hollow wall (W) made of friable material comprises a proximal flanged end (918) adapted to be engaged by a rotatable tool (B) to rotate the anchor (910) about a longitudinal axis (A) thereof and to cause is to gradually engage the wall (W). The anchor (910) also includes a distal end (912) adapted to cut through the wall (W) as the anchor (910) is rotated, and a shank (920) extending between the proximal and distal ends (918, 912). The shank (920) includes at least one expandable leg (924) that is in a collapsed position thereof when the anchor (910) is rotated to mount it to the wall (W) and that is located distally beyond a non visible surface of the wall (W) once the anchor (910) has been mounted to the wall and is in a first position thereof. The wall anchor (910) includes an outer thread (922) that securely engages the wall (W). A threaded fastener (B), e.g. a screw, is adapted to be introduced in the anchor (910) and to threadably engage the same distally of the leg (924) such that sufficient rotation of the threaded fastener (B) retracts the distal end (912) towards the proximal end (918) thereby causing the leg (924) to displace to a laterally expanded position thereof and to engage the non visible surface of the wall (W).
Screw and Anchor Assembly
A screw and anchor assembly include a male fastener and a female anchor. The male fastener only has threads or half-circular fins on half of the surface area. The other half is just like a regular cylinder. The female anchor only has threads or half-circular fins on half of the inner surface area. The other half is just like the inner wall of a regular cylinder. The user may push the male fastener into the female anchor, so the half-circular fins on the male fastener engages with the half-circular fins inside the female anchor and locks the male fastener to the female anchor. When the user needs to remove the male fastener, simply turns the male fastener 180 degrees and disengages the half-circular fins on the male fastener from the half-circular fins on the female anchor, then pull the male fastener from the female anchor.
Wall-mounted hook
An anchor assembly for use with hollow panels, comprises a holding member, such as a hook, and an anchor. The anchor is adapted to penetrate a hollow panel, such as a wall, and, once the anchor assembly has been installed to the wall, the anchor is firmly secured thereto while the hook, which is joined to the anchor, is located on a visible side of the wall. The anchor includes a first anchor portion and a second vice portion. The anchor portion, when the anchor assembly is installed to the wall, extends through the hole defined in the wall while the vice portion is located behind the wall. An elbow portion is provided on the anchor between the anchor and vice portions for allowing the anchor to be pivoted when being installed in the wall from a first position where the vice portion is inserted though the wall to form the hole therein and a second position where the vice portion extends behind the wall and in abutment therewith and the anchor portion is lodged in the hole.
Metal channel anchor with enhanced holding strength
A longitudinal channel with increased holding strength, configured for use as an anchoring element for an anchor used in supporting objects on a substrate and a method for the production thereof and an anchor. The channel has a generally U-shaped axial cross section in at least a portion thereof with, the U-shaped cross section being comprised of longitudinal side walls and a longitudinal base connection between the side walls. The side walls have free edges configured for holding contact with the substrate. A portion of the free edges of the channel are covered with a planar continuous surface material which is co-extensive with non-covered free edges whereby the planar continuous surface material and the free edges provide a planar holding surface with greater surface area than that of the free edges alone for the increased holding strength.
WALL MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
Embodiments include a mounting assembly for securing a supported element to a wall structure having an internal thickness. The mounting assembly comprises an internal assembly configured to engage the internal thickness of the wall structure and comprising a central anchor assembly with an anchor portion and a mating portion annularly arranged about an open end of the anchor portion, the mating portion having a first end fixedly attached to the anchor portion adjacent the open end and a second end for engaging the outer wall panel. The internal assembly further comprises a plurality of elongated anchors attached to the mating portion at an oblique angle relative to a central axis of the anchor portion. The mounting assembly further comprises an external assembly for engaging the outer wall panel and the mating portion of the central anchor assembly; and an elongated fastener for securing the external assembly to the internal assembly.
Substrate anchoring device
A fastener for attaching together layers of a substrate. The fastener includes a slide body, a bolt, a conical spring, and a toggle having a pivot coupled with one end of the slide body. The conical spring is disposed over a shaft of the bolt and the shaft is engaged within the slide body. The slide body and toggle are inserted into an aperture through the layers of substrate in a first configuration until the conical spring contacts a front face of the layers of substrate. Compression of the conical spring against the front face advances the toggle a clearance length out of the aperture on a back face of the layers of a substrate such that the toggle can switch to a second configuration that prevents retraction through the aperture. Extension of the conical spring automatically engages the toggle with the back face of the substrate to prevent rotation of the slide body within the aperture.
WALLBOARD ANCHOR
An anchor for wallboard installation includes an elongated anchor body including a driving end and a wall boring end. The anchor body has a main body portion running from the driving end toward the wall boring end. The wall boring end includes a plurality of axially cutting extending teeth. The anchor body includes an internal bore and diametrically opposed slots to facilitate split of an end portion of the anchor body when the anchor is installed in a wall and a fastener is inserted for mounting an object.
