Helmet with impact absorbing connector
Embodiments are directed to a helmet. The helmet preferably includes a shell, a suspension, and a connector. The suspension preferably includes a crown strap. The connector preferably couples to the shell and the crown strap. The connector preferably has a shock absorber operatively disposed between the shell and the crown strap to absorb at least a portion of a force of impact delivered to the shell.
PRODUCT DISPENSER HOLDER WITH COMPLIANCE MODULE
A product dispenser holder comprises a dispenser holder body configured to receive a product dispenser that stores a supply of a product to be dispensed, an actuation sensor that senses actuations of the product dispenser, and an actuation button, such that when an actuation force is applied to a pump of the product dispenser, a substantially downward force is applied to the actuation button causing the actuation button to rotate substantially downwardly and actuate the actuation sensor to generate a dispenser actuation signal.
Furniture snap connector
The present invention generally relates to an improved furniture connector designed to firmly attach two portions of furniture without the need for tools. The connector is designed to fit into a void within a first surface in much the same manner as a prior art cam connector. When a connector stud in a second surface is inserted into the improved furniture connector, a flexible tab accepts the stud and holds it firmly along a chamfered edge within the connector. Disassembly is then possible as the flexible tab can be released to remove the connector stud.

Flexible bracket for joint structure assembly
A flexible bracket for forming a joint assembly between two furniture members includes a fastener head seat, a first arm extending laterally of the fastener head seat in a first direction and a second arm extending laterally of the fastener head seat in a second direction. The first and second arms each have valley portions adjacent the fastener head seat and distal portions laterally outward of the valley portions. The valley portions are disposed below the plane of the fastener head seat while distal portions are disposed above the fastener head seat. The flexible bracket also includes a slotted aperture having a head receiving portion and a slot portion, the slot portion dimensioned to enable a head of a headed fastener to slide within the slot portion from the fastener head receiving portion to the fastener head seat without disengaging the slot portion. The first arm valley portion impedes the head of the headed fastener from exiting the fastener head seat.
Shipping bolt spacer and method of use thereof
The present disclosure provides a spacer for a shipping bolt. In one embodiment, the spacer includes a head, an elongated body, and an insert. The head and the elongated body each comprise a durometer greater than the insert. Together, the head and the elongated body provide a structure within which the insert is disposed to absorb forces otherwise imposed upon a bolt inserted through the spacer. The disclosure also provides a method of using the spacer to secure a component of an appliance. In a second embodiment, the spacer is of a unitary construction and manufactured of an elastomeric material. In the second embodiment the spacer is configured to absorb forces imposed upon a bolt inserted therethrough, using a combination of specially designed ribs and webs interconnecting concentric cylinders that partially define the opening.

Mounting structure and clip
A mounting structure has: a first member in which a first through-hole is formed; a second member in which a second through-hole is formed; and a clip having a first shaft portion, a first anchor portion that is anchored on an edge portion of the first through-hole, a second shaft portion whose axial center is eccentric with respect to an axial center of the first shaft portion, and a second anchor portion that is anchored on an edge portion of the second through-hole, wherein a cross-sectional shape of a portion, which is disposed at an inner side of the first-through hole, of the first shaft portion is a polygonal shape, and a length along a longest diagonal line of the polygonal shape, or a length of a longest side of the polygonal shape, is longer than a minimum opening length of the first through-hole.
FLEXIBLE SHOULDER PIN MODULE FOR INSTALLING A PANEL ON AN ASSEMBLY
A flexible shoulder pin module includes a barrel having an annular head portion, a cylindrical body portion, and a through-hole extending from a top surface of the body portion to a bottom end of the head portion; and a shoulder pin having a shaft portion and a shoulder portion formed thereon. The through-hole includes a first portion adjacent to the top surface of the body portion, and a second portion having a greater diameter than the first portion. The shaft portion is insertable through the first portion into the second portion. The shoulder portion is configured to adjustably extend above the top surface of the body portion to clamp a panel thereto. A compressible device is configured to be disposed around the shaft portion and secured by a stopper panel, which is coupled to the shaft portion and placed adjacent to the head portion within the second portion.
Detachable fastener assembly
A fastener assembly includes a plunger, a grommet, and a lever arm. The plunger may include a head, a tip portion, and a longitudinal centerline axis. The grommet may be configured to receive the tip portion of the plunger. The tip portion of the plunger may be axially movable relative to the grommet between a latched state and an unlatched state. The lever arm may be coupled to the plunger between the head and the tip portion. The lever arm extends from the plunger at an angle relative to the longitudinal centerline axis, with the lever arm being actuatable to switch the fastener assembly from the latched state to the unlatched state, according to various embodiments.
