CLIP LOCKING DEVICE
This invention provides a clip locking device including a first clip body, a second clip body, and a fastener. The first clip body has a protruding piece, the first clip body sliding fits with the sliding groove on the guide rail by the protruding piece. The fastener is mounted at the first clip body for pressing the first clip body tightly against the guide rail. The second clip body is detachably connected with the first clip body, the second clip body has a vertical sheet, the vertical sheet is used for connecting with the locking tongue. By the first clip body, the protruding piece, and the fastener, mounted the first clip body to the guide rail, and the position of the first clip body on the guide rail can be adjusted by adjusting the fastener.
Connection device for a fluid line and corresponding assembly method
A connection device for a fluid line, which has a connection unit that can be fixed in an internally threaded fastening opening of a carrier component by means of an externally threaded section of a fastening element, said threaded section consisting of a rubber elastic material. An insertion opening extends through the connection unit and the fluid line to be connected can be inserted therein so that it projects through an annular retaining element fixed in the fastening element and is retained. The external thread of the threaded section is surrounded by at least one annular outer sealing bead which is an integral part of the threaded section, said sealing bead improving the sealing with respect to the internal thread.
ARTICLE FIXING DEVICE
An article fixing device includes an adjustment mechanism, a protrusion, and a fastening bolt. The adjustment mechanism is joined to a side of a lower surface of the roof panel. The protrusion is provided integrally with the adjustment mechanism and fixes a roof rail. The fastening bolt fastens a support member to the adjustment mechanism. Further, the adjustment mechanism includes a fitting convex member provided integrally with the protrusion, a fitting concave member that that is able to be screwed into the fitting convex member, and a resin ring that is provided in the fitting concave member and that cooperates with rotation of the fastening bolt.
CAP FOR WATERPROOFING NAIL
According to an embodiment, a cap for waterproofing a nail comprises a cap body and a tightening protrusion. The cap body includes a flat penetration portion and an edge portion extending from the penetration portion and inclined downward. The cap body is formed of a hard material which may be penetrated by a nail. The tightening protrusion is spaced apart inward from an end of the edge portion by a predetermined distance and protruding downward from a lower surface of the cap body. A thickness of the tightening protrusion is smaller than a thickness of the edge portion.
Fitting for attachment to a part and associated assembly and method
Disclosed herein is a fitting for attachment to a part. The fitting comprises a body and a nut assembly. The body comprises a nut portion. The nut portion comprises a nut receptacle having a converging portion and a central axis. The nut assembly comprises a seal and a nut. The seal is within the nut receptacle, non-translatably fixed relative to the nut receptacle, and spaced apart from the converging portion. The nut is within the nut receptacle, is translatable along the central axis of the nut receptacle, and comprises resilient fingers that are resiliently deformable away from the central axis. Translation of the nut along the central axis is constrained by the converging portion and the seal.
3D PRINTING OF SEAL CAPS
Methods of fabricating seal caps using three-dimensional printing are disclosed. The seal caps are useful for sealing fasteners.
HOLDING ELEMENT FOR HOLDING A COMPONENT TO BE SECURED, AND HOLDING SYSTEM WITH SUCH AN ELEMENT
A holding element for holding a component to be secured includes: a base region with a first receiving and holding region for an elongate fixing element, a second receiving and holding region for the component, and a first hollow cylindrical engagement region; a spacer element with a spacer surface and a second hollow cylindrical engagement region in engagement with the first hollow cylindrical engagement region; and a sealing element, of a softer material than the spacer element, and having a hollow insertion region, wherein the insertion region has an inner round casing surface configured to bear against the elongate fixing element all around when the fixing element is secured in the holding element and thus seal against wet or dirt, wherein the distance from the spacer surface to the base region can be adjusted.
ASSEMBLY WITH CAPTIVE NUT
An assembly with an aircraft fuel tank is disclosed having a captive nut with an internal thread, a secondary structure, and a fastener which secures the secondary structure to the fuel tank. The fastener has a shaft which passes through the secondary structure and has an external thread coupled to the internal thread of the captive nut. The fuel tank has a fuel tank element with a hole, and the captive nut has a sleeve which is located in the hole with an interference fit between an outer surface of the sleeve and an inner surface of the wall of the hole.
Integral sealant O-ring
An integral sealant O-ring for sealing fasteners in mating surfaces of a fuel tank includes a fastener hole through an inner mating surface and an outer mating surface, the fastener hole has a chamfer along a fay interface between the mating surfaces. A layer of sealant is applied along the fay interface, and upon tightening of the fastener, the inner and outer mating surfaces are pulled together squeezing the sealant into the chamfer and forming an integral sealant O-ring around the fastener. A method of forming an integral sealant O-ring includes forming a chamfer in a first mating surface substantially concentric with a fastener hole, applying a layer of sealant along the first mating surface, pulling together the first mating surface with a second mating surface by tightening a fastener to trap sealant within the chamfer for forming an integral sealant O-ring.
Article-fixing device
An article-fixing device includes an adjustment mechanism and a protruding portion. The adjustment mechanism is interposed between a first plate and a second plate and is joined to a lower surface side of the first plate. The protruding portion is provided integrally with the adjustment mechanism. The protruding portion fixes an article to an upper surface of the first plate.
